I've always been with CIBC since I was a kid. Honestly, I don't have much experience with other banks, so I can't compare CIBC properly. However, I've never had any problems with CIBC and their customer service is super.
Website, app, and customer service is lacking. I am not sure if it is the worst in the industry, but probably comparable. I opened an account because I have always seen CIBCs in every town I've been in, but now I don't understand why.

Tip for consumers:
RBC has an amazing app, website, and customer service. TD's app is ok, website is good, customer service is great. CIBC sucked in all 3.
