I have been looking at watches for more than a year and although I found many great watches none of them really caught my eye. This time looking at the Chrono24 website I saw my watch! It was everything I wanted. Made an offer which was immediately accepted. The ability to negotiate price is another great feature of the website. I had shipping constraints as I am traveling and would only be at the shipping address for a limited time. I was assured my time constraints would not be a problem and everything would be done in an expedient manner. I was kept informed of each step during the process.
Upon receiving my watch I was more than pleased as the watch looked even better in person than the many high quality pictures posted on the website.
The entire purchase was absolutely incredible.

The great quality of Chrono is the precise and detailed descriptions of watches, I have seen at least a hundred
Of them before making my choice. Visual documentation is good. Possibility to learn more about sellers, reviews, other pieces, etc.

Close but just as better

Have a pulsar kinetic model watch (was my uncle's) & always wanted a brand new equivalent but saw this (pd2005) and pounced immediately.
Could nearly say they were part of the same collection if you will but overall highly satisfied.

1st purchase and it was really pretty smooth except I had to call support as my CC kept declining and they had to enable something on the back-end. Other than that, super smooth and the watch is exactly as described - new and in the box with papers. Also, got a very good deal on this watch.

The place to buy your next timepiece

Chrono24 provides the best platform for buying and selling, worldwide, the most amazing timepieces. The only limitation is the amount of information any seller provides for their listing, and Chrono24's selling template leaves no stone unturned for a seller to provide that information. As a buyer, the amount of information - or lack thereof - provided by a seller easily helps you cross reference between various listings of the model watch you wish to purchase, ultimately allowing you to suss out lesser listings (no photo of movement, for me, is an immediate red flag) and drill down until you find the perfect watch to fit your wrist and price point. That Chrono24 also has your back after the sale is the icing on the cake; a far cry compared to rolling the dice on a certain four-letter site ending in "y".

A bit of a unique situation, but I bought a watch from an individual that got it from Chrono24 and was passed off as authentic to him. I had the watch inspected once I purchased it only to learn that it was not authentic. I reached out to Chrono24 to see if they could help me recover some of my money or at the very least, not allow this dealer to sell watches any more and they were of absolutely zero help. These people do not hold themselves accountable or responsible once they've made their dollar as the middleman for shady dealers. I'm sure they're great when you don't have to deal with the dark side of watch trading, but when you do, they're not of any real help.

Thank you for leaving your review. Dealers are not allowed to list replicas or fakes on Chrono24 under any circumstances. The dealer is required to investigate the watch's authenticity before selling it and to list all known modifications in as much detail as possible in the item description. If a buyer has any doubts about the watch's authenticity they may return the watch within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

Feeling a bit hamstrung by new interface
July 19, 2022

I used to be able, as a customer, to jump right to the "current listings" for a particular seller, allowing both browsing, and a means to secondarily assess what type od Seller I'm dealing with. Not having that feature available as of a couple of weeks ago now makes me leery of transacting with unknown sellers, and, thus, significantly less likely to purchase merchandise. In fact, I passed on a rather nice piece I would likely have bought otherwise. Please bring this feature back, as everything else about the C24 experience is perfectly satisfactory, other than the mysterious behavior of overseas shippers (which C24 cannot control, of course).

Great watch buying experience!

I was able to source the watch that I desired by multiple dealers. Able to pick the best price, transaction deal of the bunch. Once funds were confirmed in escrow, dealer shipped overnight. Dealer had great reviews and reputaion on this platform. Overall made me feel very comfortable making a large luxury purchase online.

They have had my money for months and are lying that the return postage cost over £ 250.00 I checked with fedex who returned the watch and they'd paid just over £18.00. I complained to escrow and Chrono24 hadn't even notified them of the 7k transaction? Absolute fraudsters avoid at all costs if you don't want to lose your money!

The vast variety of timepieces available to buy on C24 is almost overwhelming. Yet, their filter system while searching makes finding the ideal watch much, much easier. I really enjoy shopping on C24 and so far my experiences have been all positive.

Good but too many hidden charges

I like dealing with Chrono24, but they add unexpected charges. The state tax is 6.35% but C24 charged 7.5%. When I convert Yen to dollars, I got a whole different amount when using a standard conversion than what C24 has... that always charges me more. I've had deals fall through because C24 added so many up-charges that the amount exceeded the limit on my credit cards. Finally, sometimes they rush the release of funds after delivery before I have a chance to fully check it out.

Shut up and take my money!

Having worked for a few years in the online sales world I really appreciate simplicity, clarity, and efficiency. Chrono24 has so far shown me all of those. I've been using the service for some time but only just made my first purchase through them and can't wait to do it again, and again, and again. The only slightly negative encounter was the inability to use a Mastercard when purchasing but I understand the many reasonings why some credit cards aren't accepted and that isn't enough for me to drop my positive five star review any. Even when I'm not purchasing one of my favorite things to do is scroll through and peruse chrono24!

I was sceptical as I wanted to purchase a special watch which to me was expensive. After much due diligence, I settled on the Chrono24 watch website and purchased a watch through their trusted escrow account with a Japanese company. The company I used could have not been more helpful or trusting. The watch is superb and I saved quite a bit off the UK retail price! This was because my particular watch in the UK was very limited stock. I would look to use Chrono24 again as I am looking for another nice watch to purchase at a great price. A pity some other customers had a poor experience. Mine was excellent, hence 5 stars!

They may seem professional, but they are not. I asked one simple question about tax and never got a straight answer. After around 3 email exchanges, my emails went totally ignored. When I called them and referred to my case, they HUNG UP! They must have thought I was some cheap dude trying to buy a hundred dollar watch. Too bad, I was so set to buy a 50k one, but decided to go elsewhere because they lack of care for customers. I made the right choice ro move on.

I had to buy the same watch three times from different dealers before getting the right one that worked without issues. Every time there was an issue chrono24 wasn't helpful in resolving the issue and I had to rely on the good faith of the dealer I was working with to make sure they reimbursed me. Ultimately I got the watch I wanted for a decent price but the hassle of buying/returning really killed the excitement of buying a luxury watch. I guess this is why some people prefer to purchase direct from an AD or Manufacturer Boutique, so they don't have to worry about being swindled.

Chrono24 paid out to my seller while we were in dispute about the fact the watch he sold me doesn't work and is of dubious authenticity. They haven't yet responded to my complaint/enquiry as to why, but have been very slow to respond generally so far, so not a surprise.

They do not do enough to vet their sellers or protect their clients. The secure transaction process means very little when this can happen and I have basically been scammed. Fortunately I was just dipping my toe with a lower value watch.
