Yes, I ended up trying severl sites. Better "user" experience in the sense of useful ways to both search and track who I might be interested in than say Upward. Not as many people half my age sending me a like as on Christian Mingle and I think many more people in Michigan than on CM. EHarmony (I haven't done a paid subscription there - maybe will) has many Jesus-followers but it is a lot of search effort to figure out who is who.
Stay away from.this scam.site! I paid for a subscription and after two days they deleted me! About 90% are fakes and scammers on Christian Cafe. I hardly ever write reviews but I feel strongly writing about Christian Cafe so that people are warned NOT to join so they don't get scammed and lose their money and don't waste their time with CC.
The site is good, there are so many good people to connect with, but unfortunately, most of them are far away and they are not willing to have a long distance relationship. Also, the people around me are not so many so it has been hard to connect with anyone. But it's a good experience... I've met and made good friends on site, but that is where it ends. So I am still believing God for a long term relationship that would soon lead to marriage
Because it's a Christian platform and because I am a born again Christian, I'd like to meet people of the same value system, which I think this site offers

Even though attempts to meet a friend of faith, or interest to date like minded faith based believers
I find that there is very little interaction or response to my invitation to communicate.
Either people have a preference, based on distance, age or more.
I understand some members may be out of reach but really no interest or even replies? Or even block someone because they shown interest - that's shallow not spiritual!
That make me a bit skeptical about this. I don't think many are open to opportunities and are not serious or diligent in their search.
As there is no stated or discernible criteria for the match rating found on each profile pic, I believe it is actually counter-productive and even harmful if people use those ratings to judge prospective matches. For example, a lady termed "100% match!" had virtually nothing in common with me, and lived fourteen hours away in a different time zone.
EHarmony does it way better; they ask about seventy questions about your interests, lifestyles and attitudes, then compare your answers with prospective matches, with actual graphics so you literally see how well you line up.
Because I need to find a partner who walks with God as I do, or it simply won't work.
It's getting tougher and tougher finding a love heart. Of course, some people do it offline somewhere in the cafes or bars, while I got used to use dating services. I chose this one because I liked the design of this company and the navigation on their website. It's much better than hyped tinder or something like that. I found here couple of interesting people who gained my attention and we started chatting. They were pretty cute and friendly when they communicated with me. I hope we will be able to meet one day and big thanks to this service as it connects people from various countries of our world.
Well. It seems like at least half of my matches when I do a search have not been active on here since mid-2021. I'm not sure why the ladies do not subscribe and only go for the free trial periods.
I have sent several introductory emails. The site shows that the emails were read. It would be nice for the ladies to respond to my emails even if they are not interested. I don't blame the site for this.
I did a Google search and it is rated as the best Christian website.
I'm kind of over online dating to be honest. I decided to give it a 3 month trial run and see what the Lord does.
Very good service but my subscription ran out 2 hours before the close of the Day! Otherwise, a very fine Online Venue.
To meet other christian women for Marriage...
Affordable, primarily..
Very engaging. Wide opportunity to meet authentic persons
The opportunity to meet new authentic persons
This is what i can budget for predently
The population is tiny, but the quality is good if you lean towards conservative side. I haven't found that someone to make me cancel my subscription permanently, but I have made some very good friends.
If I could change one thing, it would be to allow users to specify height to the inch. Currently, height is by the two-inch range, e.g., 5'6"-5'8", 5'8"-5'10, etc.
I heard that it was Christian owned and operated.
The prompts are a good place to share your background, but most importantly your faith story. It's challenging in other sites to know whether or not someone is truly a follower of Jesus or just nominally labels he/she as Christian. So far I haven't had any negative experiences with the members & everyone has been respectful. The only draw back is that not many people seem to be familiar with this platform in Kentucky where I live. Leaving mostly long distance options which is not ideal or my preference. Also, there are many inactive profiles or not even filled out. Don't know if there's an option to get those deactivated after a certain period of time.
Heard about it from a focus in the family podcast. Trust their programs & wanted a safer option to find a serious relationship that could lead to marriage
My experience was not as expected. I think maybe the time was too short. I did not like most of the matches that was suggested that were particularly from a specific part of the world. Overall, some men's profile were unfinished.
Additionally some of their pictures were not recent and it appeared as though some of them were no longer active on the site.
On the favorable side, the site was reasonably easy to navigate, offered helpful tips, timely messages and great advice.
Online search
To give myself some more time to find the right person.
The app itself looks quite old. I also do not like that you can't hide yourself from certain users. I myself have had past troubles with a stalker and he ended up being on this site. I know I can block him from messaging me but since it was a pretty scary situation it feels unnerving knowing he can still see I am on this app.

Matching me with guys 10 to 25 years younger than i is really stupid!

NEED an "agape friend" (or 10!) site for growing Christian shut-ins, like me!
It is the closest thing to actual needs pursuit for Christian shut-ins like me

In case this is a dud, like all secular sites are
Hasta ahorita no lo comprendo muy bien, solo aparecen los mismos usuarios cada vez que entro en la busqueda como que no hubieran personas
Porque es cristiano
Porque puedo reactivar el paquete cuando yo desee
While profiles can be a bit verbose, it's an easy site to navigate and view potential suitors. I wish for two options:
1) To not view those you've viewed before.
2) To not view those who haven't filled out their profile.
A possible third would be to not view those without a picture.
Just sayin'.
I don't like that people can hide who they are when looking at my profile. They should be able to hide it after the first time. But not the first time.
The forums are a great way to interact with others as well.
They have given a lot of free days and I appreciate that.
After being on here for 2 weeks, no one looks at my profile or they hide who they are so any longer time than a month os pointless.
Have not made a connection as yet but in God's hands. It's good reading through profiles (ones that are completed).
In some cases it seem easy for scammers to join too. Have come across a file same pictures & profile just a different profile name.
Did joined back in 1998 but not a paid membership
Give another go, if it doesn't work out it's meant to be.
Used it before, back again
Timeframe, just checking it out
This website has a number of fake profiles. I was contacted by about 20 women during my 10-day free trial, almost all of them from Asia and nowhere near America. A few from other parts of the country but seemed too good to be true. I did have one "local" woman contact me but her profile said she actually lived 1600 miles away--when I called her on it she claimed customer service told her that her location couldn't be changed, but that isn't true and I showed her how to easily change it herself, and she continued to say she couldn't. She kept coming on to me, gave me a "work" phone number, we even exchanged email addresses, but her communication stopped as soon as I decided not to continue beyond the free trial. Don't trust the people on this site. The only good thing was that they give you a free trial to communicate with these people--though you can't trust anyone who is contacting you.
3 tries to process payment and I found out why the following day- I got a text saying my bank blocked it as it was from a dating and escort service at 1am but I used a different card.

I tried this site out a couple years ago, hoping to find a young American Christian lady (I live in Ohio), but most of my results were from China, Africa and the Middle East. I'm not racist or anything, but why are there no American ladies on here?!
There were choices of men i could choose. Race playing a factor also men response even if they don't want to pursue me. But disappointed there weren't more Adventist still i thought i wad signing up with an Adventist site.
I saw black Adventist dating site but that was not true i only found 2 Adventist men.
If i don't meet someone in a month this is not where am going to find him. Hope i don't have a problem unsubscribing as in pass experience.
Downloading pictures tricky. I'm not an IT guy so it took awhile
So I uploaded pics and I got an email saying they have no pictures. This has been frustrating. I'll try again tonight
They just said they didn’t get pictures, that’s it. Maybe a phone call to walk me through it to see what I’m doing wrong?
Suggestion by a friend
Seemed like a good option and savings

They only give you 10 days of free membership. And cut you off without warning as well if you dare to put in a suggestion to extend the trial over 10 days to maybe 3mths. I had been given free trial til feb 17. They cut me off feb 8 (after my suggestion on their forum). I had at least 3 men contacted me asking for phone number straight away (scammers). Not really any better than any other dating site. Just more cliquey. The forum people were very judgemental too. I was basically made to feel like a bad person by some members on there. Not very Christian at all it seems.
Tip for consumers:
DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS SITE! VERY JUDGEMENTAL AND NO HEART! WILL CUT YOU OFF THEIR WEBSITE FOR STUPID REASONS. I HAVE PROOF!
I can't really give you a good rating at all. Not yet! I have installed all my information and pictures, but I have not been able to experience looking, reading and searching at how the dynamics of this singles site is set up. I have no idea. Only recommending to ask me or any other new customer this question after they have been on the site and tried it out for a week or two. Don't you think so? It's like you are asking after ordering a meal at a restaurant, how was the meal before it is even served. Correct?
Here about it through a friend on Facebook.
I just about signed for 1 year, but as I said I have not even tried the site yet. And also I had problems, not to long ago, with another site that I signed up with for 6 months. Tried it for a day or two, sent a few messages to other females, a couple of them replied. Then when I tried to open what they had said, a window popped open saying I now had to pay another $8.99 a month for the next 6 months. Not happy, as you can probably tell and I went to customer service asking for my full refund. After they said they could not do this. I said Ok, who is the name of the registered agent of the company? They said they did not know. I ask them to go to their mgr. And find out so my attorney could not start proceeding on a law suit because they had made no announcement of any other fees except for the first 6 months I had paid. I was put on hold and customer service came back and credited me for what I paid for their 6 month subscription. I was told by a Facebook friend that you had no other fees after paying for a subscription. So that is why I picked you.
ChristianCafe.com is a leading online dating service that specializes in connecting Christian singles seeking for long-term relationships. Found in 1999, so it can be said to be one of the earlier Christian dating site exclusive for Christian daters. It is a Christian religious organization and ministry serving a Christian market, based on Biblical beliefs and teachings.
Christian singles visitors can connect with others as soon as they create a simple profile, after responding to several multiple-choice questions, as well as written questions. By creating a profile, the user receives a generous 10 day FREE trial period (7 days for joining, 3 more for posting photos), where they have the opportunity to participate at no cost to them for the full 10 days.
ChristianCafe.com concept came back in 1998 and in the winter of 1999 it was launched to the World Wide Web, as it was known at the time. At first it was created to connect local singles, but soon it became well known by Christian singles all over North America, UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and all around the globe.
The company has been under the same ownership (Christian brothers Samuel Moorcroft and Philip Moorcroft) till date and unlike most of the Christian dating websites out there, ChristianCafe.com has been always a private company, with its owners being Bible believing Christians, while the competition have been bankrupted or sold to non-Christians companies. So they’re truly Christians matching Christians.
We're so glad you decided to be part of "the best Christian website" :)
In answer to your concern, it's not possible for members to have been inactive since mid-2021 because our system would have removed those profiles to our archives. We see you have a lot of matches, most of whom you've yet to view (which is where you'd see their Last On date).
Regardless of a member's last activity, it's important to make the most of your membership by viewing many profiles and introducing yourself to all who interest you - you never know where it can lead. Many members are hoping to see if they'll receive mail before deciding to return, so your message could be the spark to connect the two of you.
We have thousands of testimonials from former members who've met the love of their life. We'd love to receive your future testimonial :)
