Chouchoudress

Bought a $200 dress online. It gets to me after a month of waiting. The material was cheap for what I paid for the dress, and it was 2-3 sizes too small. I know my size... and that was NOT it. Chouchoudress company makes it very hard to get ahold of customer service, providing no phone number, or info on making returns, only a question/comment box. When I inquired on how to return the dress, they took a few days to respond, only to tell me I should just take it to get altered and keep it. How in the hell do they expect me to alter a too-small-dress? First of all, there's no way I'm spending more money on this already overly priced dress, only to have it look like a weird patch work quilt. I told them again, to tell me how to return it. They responded after a few days telling me I'd be financially responsible to ship it all the way back to China, and that due to risks, I'd need to buy insurance on the package as well... all of this out of my pocket, to send back their faulty dress. Even then, they said it could take up to several weeks before I see a refund. They instead offered me an immediate $50 refund if I agreed to keep the dress. Which means I'm still out $150 for a useless dress, but hey it's better then nothing, and I'm tired of their drawn out runaround. I agree. They tell me the refund will reflect within the week... that was near a month ago now. I started emailing them after two weeks of waiting, and they have flat out ignored all my inquiries. I've sent about 10 emails in the past two weeks, and now it's pretty obvious that they scammed me and are now ignoring me completely. Do not buy a dress from this company! It is not worth the risks. They overcharge for cheap dresses and if there's anything wrong with it at all you are $#*! outta luck.
