This is for order MY7-XA2.
We have had recurring problems with the restaurant accepting orders for items that it cannot fill. When we show up, the order is partially met with missing items just omitted from the order. "Sorry we are out," somehow makes it good?
To be clear, customers that know items cannot be filled will take their orders elsewhere. Instead? Because you order online, you have no idea the order can't be filled. You just have a sack of crap dumped on you. Bonus? You have to request a refund from Pepper - Chiptloe's mostly hidden and extremely dysfunctional chatbot. After repeatedly dropping your connection or asking inane questions, Pepper... offers some freebes (which also cannot be filled because the restaurant is out of ingredients). Refund? No answer? Pepper doesn't language well enough to understand, "refund please."
In order to figure out whether a refund has been issued? That takes a live agent. Getting one online? You must be crazy! Three of them. It takes three of them before you can get someone to spell out that no refund has been issued for an order that COULD NOT EVEN BE FILLED CORRECTLY.
The entire time, you are bombarded with questions whose sole intent appears to be stonewall you into just giving up. We have an infant and a toddler, and Chipoltle thinks that this is how families want to spend their evenings? Chipotle thinks people want to place orders that cannot be filled? We want to deal with their dysfunctional agents?
Let's be clear:
Chipotle is accepting orders it cannot fill.
Chipotle partially fills order, explaining some outages but not all - meaning every aspect of an order is screwed up. Which you find out when it's delivered.
It then refuses to process a refund? Because... Who the hell knows?
We have to file a claim with the BBB to get a refund? Maybe?
Do we have to cancel the payment?
Or should we just skip all of this and go straight to small claims with an appropriate legal consultation fee attached for damages?
There appears to be someone in Chipotle corporate who thinks all of this is a good idea?
This company has lost its mind.
On Wednesday August 24th, I received several notifications of large orders placed via my chipotle app (silly me for saving payment methods to the app). As of today (August 27th 2022), I am unable to access my chipotle account which they closed due to suspicious activity (Thanks for doing that but now I don't know what other payment methods may be affected). I have the situation handled on the bank side but my chipotle account is still locked, no matter how many times I am sent a link to reset my account, it does not allow me to reset my information. I finally got on the phone with chipotle on Friday after wasting time with their chat support which is a robot that sends you in circles. The first rep I spoke to transferred me to my own voicemail and the second person I spoke to said someone would email me to help me gain access to the account. This is the email I received.
Aduke,
Thanks for reaching out. We were unable to fix the issue with your account we suggest you create a new account and delete the old one. I would be willing to assist in deleting the account, but first just need to let you know that in doing so all history will be lost permanently. Please let me know and I will proceed.
Sincerely,
Dysebel

So they pretty much suggest I delete the old account that has all the proof of the fraudulent charges placed in other states than the one I live in. What does deleting it entail if my information was already compromised? What is locking it currently preventing and why can't it be unlocked? I am definitely not creating a new account and moving forward I will just place my orders in store but this has left a bad taste in my mouth so I am not sure I will be eating from there any time soon. Their email does not reassure me that they will put protocols in place to help safeguard our online accounts. I am not even sure if I only had two payment methods on file but so far only two were affected. So this leaves me with having to update everything on my end.
Thanks Chipotle!
I have stopped going to Chipotle, it's forever, never will I order this crap and travel to pick it up.
Not only does the food suck, what you end up with is a burrito the size of a hot-dog roll, with hardly anything in it.
I counted the number of beans in my sandwich, there were only 18 individual beans, you could hardly see them and no, they were not hiding in the rice.
The amount of rice in the sandwich would not feed anyone.
A Chipotle burrito is a rip-off, my friends had bowls and they say it was awful and a very small portion.
$9.75 for a Chipotle burrito?
I'd rather save the money and go hungry until I could find another place for 'fast food'.
The only thing fast about Chipotle is how quickly you become hungry after eating a horrible, small burrito.
Yeccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Can't think of anything?
Food.
