I do not book any flight before checking with Cheapo Air. They have always given me the best price available.

We bought a ticket when my father-in-law had a stroke and made SURE that we checked off the cancellation insurance as we knew we might need to change the dates of return. The cancellation insurance took a while to finish going through and I did not want to exit the site until I knew we had it confirmed so I called a cheapoair service rep and explained that we needed the cancellation insurance and why and she said "no problem, it is showing your purchse on my end so go ahead and exit the site". She did warn us to make sure we checked with our cc company as it was a pending transaction. We did and all was well. BUT cheapoair refused to honor this, and more or less stole our return ticket and the insurance they suggest (even while waiting on hold) that you purchase. After 3 hours on hold and various attempts by both my husband and I, we gave up. Based on there arguements against allowing us to make a change in flights, it appears you need to purchase TWO, yes TWO cancellation insurances in order to change your ticket. BIGGEST CHEAPSKATES ever. Guess that is where the name comes from. We have DONATED our ticket and insurance to them as obviously they seem desparate enough for the money that they find it necessary to scam customers even after their service rep tells you all is in order. My whole family will have to return now for the funeral but there will be NO WAY we would EVER book with them again. Enjoy your little reward CHEAPO as you lost much more than you gained with us!

I have always used Cheapoair to book flights. In the past they have been the most inexpensive option and reliable. However, this past trip I booked things went south. I booked a trip online and a few hours later, after reviewing my confirmation email, I realized I had chosen the wrong returning time. I called Cheapoair and spoke with a representative about changing my returning time. He informed me I would have to cancel my flight and rebook for a $50. Okay, not a huge issue, I suppose this was my fault. While on the phone with this man, he continuously tried to up sell me on other flights for different dates. I told him numerous times I needed these exact dates, I was merely looking to changing the time of departure on the date I needed. I wanted to make sure my flight was booked while we were still on the phone so I booked the flight on my computer and asked him if everything looked correct on his end. I read the dates and times to him several times and he confirmed everything was accurate. Fast forward a week and I'm reviewing my confirmation email and I realize the dates were the same dates the agent was trying to sell to me on the phone! I have currently called several times trying to resolve this issue. I've been hung up on and also told there is nothing they can do. This issue was absolutely NOT my fault and the company is unwilling to try to fix the issue. No remorse. They have their money and that's all that matters right? Now ON TOP of all of this, I am STILL waiting for my refund for the first flight I mistakenly booked. It has been past the 14 days they ensured, which is an unheard of amount of time for a refund for a flight. Usually 3-5 business days. I will NEVER book through Cheapoair. They lost a loyal customer, and I truly believe they couldn't care less.
