I bought a Emirates ticket through Cheapflightsfars, E-ticket #******* for $1907.55. The flight was from Houston, USA to Kathmandu, Nepal which stopped by Dubai airport. On March 11,2023, one day before leaving Houston. I went in Emirates to check in and realized my middle name is wrong on Emirates on the ticket. Therefore, I contacted Cheapflightsfars to correct. At first, they said no problem just go to the airport early and had the Emirates correct it. However, I was afraid that Emirates won't let me get on the airplane. Therefore I called Emirates and they said Cheapflightfars have to go through a process for Emirated to correct it. The next morning, I called Cheapflightfars again and Charles Smith agreed to fix the problem for me. About an hour later, he let me knew that Emirates did fixed my middle name but not Dubai airline. It was my first time go to Dubai and knew noone there. I did not want any trouble. So at last, I had to cancelled my ticket and repurchase a new ticket for $2289.00 with Cheapflightsfares, E- ticket #******* with a longer time waiting in Dubai Airport (14 hours instead of 6 hours). CHEAPFLIGHTSFARS PROMISED TO REFUND ME $1,600.00 FOR THE CANCELLATION OF THE FIRST TICKET $1907.55 within 20 days. When I got to Dubai Airport I did not want to wait for too long in Dubai Airpot so I exchanged the ticket to flight early as my original ticket. I had to paid Emirates Airline for $213 more.
Now It is more than a month and the money refunded is $1,268.55. I did not hear from Cheapflightsfars so I contacted them 4 times. Today, the representative told me that all I get. Because Emirates deduct the money for my cancellation. Whatever the reason, Cheapflightsfars does not stand by its promised, loyalty to a customer. I will not use Cheapflightsfars again.
I don't even want to give them a star. It is bad customer service.
