At one point this was a great website; until the owner stopped caring. He is very egotistical and in denial about why his site is losing traffic. He used to have award ceremonies every year and participated in the community. Now he is only around when he is banning someone without even a warning for making a harmless joke or saying they don't like a game. Or once in awhile he'll make a post when he is advertising his new podcast episode that no one listens to anymore.

The most prominent and active members of this community were banned yet some of them have gone on to another deals forum site and are now thriving and some of the most popular members on those sites for years now. So what does that say about the judgment of the owner and moderators here? Their way of banning people for no reason is to just claim that they're "trolling". It seems like if they're in a bad mood one day they'll just ban members for no reason. You can say that you don't like a game or store and they'll ban you for "trolling" immediately, thus you can't even have conversations on here so there's barely any activity.

The owner and moderators do allow the only active posters on this forum anymore, the bottom feeders, post about ripping off stores, violating the terms of service of store's reward memberships (and even commit fraud by opening up multiple memberships with fake names), and buying up every copy of a game from one store to trade in to another and brag about much store credit they make doing this. Some of them get banned from these stores for obvious reasons and then play the victim card. These people don't play games or are even interested in game deals unless they can rip off someone and take advantage of loopholes. If you criticize this behavior which used to be taboo on this site when it was an active community, your post will be deleted and account banned.

The trading forum is also a joke now. It used to have good people to trade with. Now the only people who use it are lowballers with entitled attitudes who will offer you ten bucks shipped for a brand new PS4 game.

There is no reason to visit this site anymore. The site owner can blame it on forums declining all he wants, but the truth is there's another major deals site that discusses videogames and is more active than ever and values freedom of speech. Not to mention any good deal on this site is stolen from there anyway (without giving credit) and is most likely out of stock by the time it even hits here.

This used to be a good site during the first few years it was in operation. As time went on the original mods who were fair quit and were replaced with tyrants who ban people for any reason they want. The original owner admitted that he no longer cares about the site and puts no effort into it anymore. It's a very lazy effort, the front page is now computer generated with random bad deals and there is not even an awards ceremony anymore. It basically just seems to exist to collect ad revenue these days. The member on this site used to be cool people who helped each other out and now just use the forums to post about how they spent all day buying out all the copies in a store just to flip and make a few measly bucks. There is no community anymore because the mods banned every interesting poster so the activity on this site is low. Having a negative opinion about a product is considered "trolling" to the mods and will get you banned without even a warning. The site owner claims that the activity on this site is down due to forums dying. If that was the case then Slickdeals wouldn't still be so popular. The real reason is that he puts no effort into the site, every good member was banned, and there's no reason to even visit anymore since Slickdeals covers everything this site has and more and doesn't censor you for having opinions.

Being a deals website, CAG is run on nothing but user-generated content posted in the forums. The sad part is that the moderators are bigots and will silence and ban people for not being "feminist" or saying the word "guido." It's a real mess when the site is run on content posted by users, yet many users are banned from the website for having opinions. Case in point, they've banned a mentally challenged kid five times already on five different accounts for no apparent reason other than his posts have lots of spelling errors. I have seen numerous people banned from this website for stupid reasons, leading me to believe that David Abrams and the rest of the staffing team are ignorant bigots. I would never give them my ad money or purchase anything using their broken url referrer. Go to Slickdeals, it's sadly a million times better.

Video Game Website for shopping and discussion. Me and my friends have had really bad experiences with them. The discussion part of the site called the "vs" forum is ran by a group of racists and harass white kids everyday. If the kids argue back they get banned. The stuff that is said is disgusting at best and is allowed to happen. A video game site but really a racist site that seems to be moderated by the same. Don't let your kids or your friends get harassed stay away from the site. Cheapassgamer is racist and harasses white kids with vulger posters and racism.
