Chain Reaction Cycles

After contacting customer service via e-mail, and getting a response very quickly,
I ordered a Selle Italia MAX Flite Gel Flow saddle from them last Friday, September 24th. It arrived at my home, in New Jersey USA, the next Thursday, September 30th!

After making a purchase of a few items with chain reaction and getting a £10 discount, I started reading reviews, which got me worried. I paid for 4 day delivery, after checking my on my order on day 2 it still stated processing which got me more worried even if I was going to receive my items, so gave them a message on live chat, they responded instantly and reassured me my item would be here within the time scale. The next day I had a knock at my door it was the hermes courier with my order a day earlier than expected, all correct and packaged perfectly. A* service.

I ordered a Vitus Sentier VR 29 from CRC on Jan. 7,2020 and it arrived in Florida today, on Jan. 12 from DHL. Considering it's coming from the UK and it's Covid times, that's pretty impressive. It was very well packed and assembly took literally 10 minutes. The dropper post was already installed, so I just had to put on the front tire and screw on the pedals. Shifted perfectly right out of the box and everything was installed correctly.

I didn't have to deal directly with their customer service because everything went smoothly so I can't speak to that. It came with a QC check list with the employee's name who assembled and checked the bike, which is quite nice. Also came with a few little bonuses like reflectors, a bell, tube patches, and a multi-tool.

Based on my experience, I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews. I would definitely order from CRC again.

The customer service at CRC Belfast store is probably the best I've experienced. I had a paintwork issue, which was promptly dealt with by Jonathan and subsequently Stephen; an efficient, friendly and professional service.

I was nervous with the reviews I read here, but they had what I needed at half the price of other stores. I bought knee and elbow pads, and a back protection pack. They arrived in less than a week from the UK! That was amazing in its self. The order was also exactly as described and what was ordered. I will do business with them again. Service was stellar and the price was great. Maybe things have changed with them? I'm very happy with my experience! I also should note, I paid the $6.99 for expedited shipping. Otherwise, shipping would have been free. I needed the pads as quickly as possible though.

Just ordered from the for the first time. Went this way as Amazon is out of control and is definitely not the cheapest route to buy anything any more by far. They were about $40 cheaper for two items, a stem and handlebar. On the first order, you get $20 off over $100 spent. I eclipsed that amount but didn't see that discount until after I made the purchase. They applied the discount afterwards and refunded the $20 back. Only thing that could go wrong at this point is shipping time since customer service is 10/10 and price is 10/10. I paid a little extra to have it expedited so if anything goes awry I will come back and report but otherwise it seems all good.

Wow impressed as to how quickly I received my order. Live in NJ and it was at my door step in 7 days from the original order. Many usa sellers would be longer. Do not think China a month or more to get. Pricing much better than any USA seller. My order was tires as I repair/sell bikes from my house and tires are usually needed. Many of their brands not found in USA but who cares as tires are tires for most people and they do carry great high end tires also. Great company no issues or problems this is my 2nd order now... REMEMBER THEY ARE IN ENGLAND NOT USA

I had read all of these negative reviews but they had a great price on a frame I wanted so I tool a chance within 3 days the bike was in the United States and at my door in the original Felt packaging. Great price with great. I have been building the bike in my spare time and should be riding it next week. Thanks so much.

Have bought many cycle parts from here and have always arrived on time and well packaged. Recently bought two tyres but one had a slight dent in the steel bead. They immediately said they were sorry and offered an immediate replacement. That is how you look after your customers. Just also bought some more parts and they were better packaged than the bike i bought from that terrible company tredz.in all chainreactions is a great company and highly recommended.

I ordered a saddle and lizard skin tape. I received exactly what I ordered. And there is no tax. The packaging is very good unlike others are no good. I will order again.

Ordered tires, came fast by dhl, and order was perfectly wrapped and filled. Would order again. Price are sick low

Ordered a Marin rift zone 2 with a discount including all duty and postage paid to California. I was worried about all the negative reviews but took a chance. Ordered June 27 and arrived July 5 via DHL (I also Tracked it the whole way). When it arrived I was extremely worried that they sent me the lower spec'd Marin Rift Zone 1 due to the box being labeled as such and not the Rift Zone 2. Opened it up and was extremely relived that they did in fact shipped
Me the correct bike and model. Bike was packed well with good protection. The bike shifts and operates well. Took a chance and either I got lucky or management has stepped it up.

Like many cyclists, I strongly prefer the independence & freedoms bicycling, specifically biketouring, especially since my mechanical skills are adequate enough to make most repairs/adjustments whilst out cycling. Naturally, my abilities have improved significantly over the 40+ years I've been pedaling, but having the right tools/parts/shop personnel are likewise just as important.
One such source was BikeNashbar, which I regularly purchased from for over 30 years, but the company was purchased/dissolved & incorporated into another whilst I was overseas, continuing "My World Upon Wheels/reTIRED World (Bike)tour". So I was in desperate need for a new (to me) reliable source to complement my fantastic Crazy Cat-Airport shoppe/techs. With today's digital access, I found CHAIN REACTION CYCLES (CRC) after some internet searching.

My first completely secure order of tubes, rotors, & kit went through very smoothly and arrived perfectly, as promised. Not only was this incredibly impressive, but I also knew that I had found what I hope will be a life-long bicycle kit source for me. Perhaps what has made the biggest difference are the product reviews posted along with most items.
In fact, whilst researching SCHWALBE MARATHON TYRES (which have proven the most reliable for me over the past many years) one reviewer ["WYRDVANS"] had commented that he didn't think the three mm difference between 700c-32 & 700c-35 was much until he tried it, then added it to his superlative review.
It was from his written words that I altered my own CRC order as the situation was nearly identical with my newest ride (and much needed upgrade for my "ageing out"/weakening knees/quads/hams), an eBikekit-assisted CruzBike. It came fully kitted with 700c wheels, but I have since replaced the rear with a 26 x 1.5, and the front remained 700c-32. After reading the review by "WYRDVANS", I immediately measured the space between the top of my current SCHWALBE MARATHON (700c-32) and knew the fit was too tight. I altered my order for a different same-size SCHWALBE MARATHON tyre.
This Highlights the main reason why the CRC reviews are so very importantand why I myself am a frequent reviewer (albeit suffering Verborrhea). Without a doubt, I am extremely pleased with CRC and the fine company has certainly earned my coveted "WHEEL OF APPROVAL!"

The best thing about Chain Reaction is that the people on the end of the phone are always really knowledgeable and helpful if you have any questions about the products. The have some great prices and delivery is fast. I had to return an item for an exchange and they had a fast turnaround with my exchange arriving quickly.
Highly recommend them.

The stock range on this site is enormous, from cheap bits to top of the range gear.
