“Central Transport is the worse shipping company in the world!”

William M.
3/7/17

I ordered a product on eBay on February 23rd of 2017. The seller (user name maxhootue), gave an estimated delivery date of March 1st. He also showed that the item was in stock, and that it would ship out within 2 days. I ended up canceling the order on March 1st because the system showed that it had NOT shipped yet, and I had not received a tracking number. Now motivated, the seller finally reached out to me saying that it had been shipped and that it would arrive on Thursday March 2nd. So, I rented a fork lift and anxiously waited for the delivery but, it never came. So, I reached out to the transport company (Central Transport), who showed that the item was in their warehouse and had been for a couple of days. They changed the delivery day to Friday March 3rd, between 9 and 11. So, I ordered another fork lift (another $100), for the next day. I arrived early Friday morning and waited for the delivery and what do you know it never arrived. So I got on the phone with the seller to see if he could help. He suggested that I go pick it up so I called the shipping company again to arrange a pick up and they said, "NO YOU CAN'T PICK IT UP WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF HARBOR FREIGHT"! I wondered, "how in the world does Harbor Freight" fit into this? Long story short, the seller is just a broker for Harbor Freight posing as a manufacturer. We never got hold of Harbor Freight so needless to stay, at the end of that day, I set another appointment with the shipper to have the product delivered the following Monday the 6th of March. When I arrived Monday morning I called the transport company to make certain that the product was going to be delivered at the promised time, their response was, "YES IT'S LOADED ON A TRUCK AND WILL BE GOING OUT THIS MORNING"! So, I went to pick up the fork lift (another $100). When I got back with the lift, I call ed the transport company (who was now late) to see where the driver was, their response was, "THE DRIVER NEVER MAD IT IN TO DAY, HE IS HOME SICK"! Can you imagine my surprise? NOT! I was furious and went through all of the "Friday" hoops again, trying to make a pick up, trying to see if they would put it on another delivery truck etc., but to no avail. They told me that I needed to make a delivery appointment for the following day Tuesday the 7th. Well, it's Tuesday the 7th, one hour after they agreed to deliver my package. I have been on the phone with the shipping company 2 times to make sure that they are actually going to deliver my product today and they have assured me that they will but, I'm not holding my breathe. The moral of this story is NEVER order a product from a middle-man named maxhootue on eBay, and whatever you do, never, ever, ever, use a shipping company by the name of Central Transport!
