Have run this product successfully for years. Made the mistake of "Upgrading" to the new version. New version suggested I put a number of programs to sleep, guaranteing that they would wake up when I needed them... Not so much. So now I have a PC that Office apps no longer run on because they won't start. Piriform sold me Premium Tech Support. Only problem is that it doesn't exist. The support has always been marginal, but the product was good. Now BOTH product and support suck.
I used it for My Windows computer cleaning, it's helpful with its efficient cleaning and maintenance of the computer, and it is useful to fix some registry errors and block phishing apps. But sometimes it becomes a time-consuming process and it is free with just some basic features, I need to pay for it...
Every time I update to a New Version I have to make all of my Setting Changes again. It would be best if CCleaner kept my old setting when installing a Newer Version of CCleaner Free such as 5. 46. 6652. Other than that I would have given it a 4. Also the Registry Cleaner should make a Systems Restore Point not a backup file before making changes to the Registry File.
