I received a charge from Catherine's and found out that it was for a subscription that I had no knowledge of. I called customer service and the agent canceled my subscription. I also requested that my funds be returned to my card. Waiting for that request to be filled,nothing yet. There is nothing on the website that states a charge would be debited off my card for a subscription. I decided to check the reviews and see if anyone else had this issue, and I see that I'm not the only one. If a company offers rewards be ethical and let that customer know what to expect with charges and membership. I just want my money refunded and my card number taken out of their database.
Very slow shipping. I had to return all merchandise due to not fitting properly. Everything runs extremely large. When the items were returned, they did not give me a full refund. A month later I was charged a $18 fee. When I called to inquire about this charge they said it was their monthly fee for their rewards program that I did not sign up for. RIDICULOUS!
Quality has gone down, and i have received the wrong items on my passed 4 orders, and can't reorder cause they just happen to be out of my item. Now I just notice I'm going to have a hole in my jeans and I can't return them cause I've worn them for 3 hrs now. Now I can't say I wouldn't order from them again but they are the last place I look for something
Tip for consumers:
Don't call to tell them that they sent the wrong items cause then they get defensive and try to make it seem like it's your fault. When also asked about an $10.99 return fee and why I have to pay it when it's there fault I have to do a return they give you the runaround, so I don't know if I have to pay it still or not.

I placed and order Feb 25th it is now July 7th and I still don't have it. Paid over $30 fo shipping. I've sent many emails no response. I waited over 20 mins for someone to answer the phone she told me I have to wait 2 more days and call back for them to send a refund. What a joke. I'd give negative stars if possible. They told me I knew it was on back order. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. The rep also told me she wouldn't be this upset because she works in customer service.
I have shopped at Catherines for years and years. I had about 50 pair of their knit pull on jeans that were so comfortable to wear. I thought I was ordering the same thing a few weeks ago and they sent me these pull on jeans, but they are not knit and the material is like sandpaper. I am so disappointed in the product that i don't intend to shop there anymore. I am not a customer who complains but these are beyond disgusting to me.
Ordered 2 cotton wire free bras- how hard can that be? I realize bras can be hard to fit but the quality of the fabric was so poor (cheap scratchy lace)and only the exterior was cotton... most of the interior that actual touches you ( the part that maters) was synthetic and - another thing the connector on your shoulder. Shoulder strap ( a huge ring thing) cuts into your shoulder. Also because I didn't have a credit card I didn't get the advertised free returns... shouldnof read the tiny return fine print... tricksters. Do not shop!
It's been 30 days since I placed my order online. The expected arrival date has come and gone. Last week it took me 47 minutes to speak to someone on the phone to only be told hopefully you'll get it soon. If planning a trip don't use Catherines.com if you need it any time soon..

I have to go through hundreds of items to try to find the one I want. And the name does not come up. Difficult to contact anyone for help. Before they closed on the last day I was in the store shopping, I felt the lack of customer service in the Lynnwood Washington store.
Catherines often has coupons in the mail and on their site. Yet, the coupons cannot be used easily. They don't count on clearance, not perfect price items not storewide sales, not... should I keep going. The styles are frumpy. The sales people push Perks and are not helpful. I am trying to shop online to get better deals and more youthful clothing without the attitude.
I had to make THREE trips to the lcoal Catherine's in Evansville, In to make a return. I somehow got the wrong size in capris. TWICE they offered me a gift card - I paid for this item on my charge card and did not want a gift card. The last time the clerk didn't know what she was doing - FINALLY after raising my voice and getting mad they got the return off my charge card. I also have trouble loging into to the account to pay Catherine's card. As soon as I make sure the balance is zero I can tearing up the Catherine's card and will use Discover from now on. With the virus I don't carry a purse, but do have my Discover card with me. One of the sales lady had on a cute outfit, but had shorts with an overlay of a skirt. You could easily see all of her legs. I think this is inapprobraite for a palce of business and told her so. What should have been a 5 minutes or less transaction took 15 minutes and I was on my way to work. Almost late.
Jan. 2017 they had a clearance sale. The come on: Buy one, put one in the cart free. So I buy two each of several items. Two of the same item, so they are the same price. Full price for first one, second one free? They charge me full price for both of the more expensive items & give me two cheaper items free. My bill was $40 more than I expected. Called them twice & emailed. This is a bait & switch! Beware they also offered an item listed like $18-$19. Usually 0X-2X is the cheaper price & 3X-5X is the higher price? Wrong, I checked each size NONE of the sizes were priced at the lower price. All of them 0X-5X were the higher price. Catherine's is not well managed!
