I have had to use my Car Shield warranty now 3 times. My latest claim is on my 2016 Silverado where the transmission went out. Car Shield approved my claim in a couple of hours with my mechanic and had me in a rental car in the same day. I have not have any problems with Car Shield taking care of my claims, and I would recommend Car Shield to anyone who needs a warranty on their vehicle. I've had this coverage since 12/2020 and have never used it till now, still had to fork out 350$ more even with deductible. They didn't pay all the diagnostic and only allowed 5.3 hrs for repairs but it took the shop 7hrs plus to make repairs on what was broken they wouldn't cover the gaskets that had to be taken off. SMH that I put nearly 4,000$ into this coverage and got screwed. Not happy at all.

My Car Broke Down in December Called Car Shield And They Towed It To My Mechanic. Positive Experience To Start. Found Out Car Has Blown Engine. After Many Conversations With Car Shield Reps.Still Moving Forward With A Solution On What Warrenty Will Cover. Another Of Calls Regarding Maintenance Records,Even If You Choose To Do Your Own Maintenance Oil Changes They Want Record's And Receipts From Sources Such As Wal-Mart And Other Box Stores. Not Many Keep Simple Receipts. Lesson Learned, For The Future.

Simple call made just to let your company know I had reached my required 500 miles. Truly best part of the call was "A human answered the phone. This may sound so silly, but I won't mention a company that took me an hour and 15 minutes on a line and truly never getting an answer.@ people finally answered but never got a solution. My truck that I adore just blew the head gasket due to internal issue with cam. Carshield fixed it without a fuss and did it promptly! The mechanic said they paid within 24hrs of completion of job said best ins he has ever worked with didnt try to jew him down or negotiate price jist ask for quote agreed and paid him.! Only issue they forgot to turn in the tow charge so that came out of my pocket. So for $500 my truck is back on the rd cannot complain here. Thanks Iced T ;)
Asked about the tow charge i had t heard back? Also the starter went out just as i got the car back i mean the day i we t to collect the car i drive ut home then to homedepot and it stalled the started completely went out! So again i had it towed to 2fastauto.com and they fixed it.

I was all set to pay deductible and had to pay way more money than I could afford that's why I got this insurance. Feeling very let down

Purchased a service contract based upon reputation and interaction with personnel of car shield. 2019 dodge grand caravan lost reverse on transmission and filed a claim. Ended up at Aamco and when contacted by shop, was informed I would have an almost $800 deductible instead of the $100 I had thought I had. Have an issue with this but behind 8 ball as far as getting repaired. No satisfied but not pissed off either.

My first experience with Car Shield was FANTASTIC!
The Car Shield administrator took over after my first call and stayed on my
Fuel pump problem until it was fixed. I had to be towed, Car Shield was on it!
While fixing my fuel pump issue, a rear differential leak was also discovered.
Car Shield was on it and had it repaired also! I am recommending to all of my family!

I was satisfied with Car Shield responses to the repairs that were needed on my vehicle except the Running board hinges, motors and hardware left and right. I am a handicapped Vietnam combat veteran and I use the running boards to get out of my vehicle which is why I thought they would be covered because its electrical. I would like to speak with Car Shield about that problem. Other than that I was satisfied.
I feel there show be a person that you could speak with when there is a disagreement.
Because they handle so much repair issues that could occur on my Cadillac according to the commercials that are advertised on TV.
I have a 21 year old Acura that just now needs some what I would call major work. I have developed an oil leak and find that the oil pan needs to be replaced as well as whatever it connects to for the flow of oil. I called Car Shield and it was no problem, they immediately gave me a claim number and where the repair center needs to call them the day of repair. I get to choose who I want to do the repair and my co-pay is $100. Easy peasey - so thankful for car shield.
Because I have an older car, i n its 22nd year, 96,300 miles, and don't have a car payment so I thought it worth paying car shield for keeping my car running and in good shape. Also, added note, this is the first major repair I have ever had to have done to this car - ACURA, is definitely the way to go. Car Shield made it very easy. No regrets with having Car Shield.
It gives me some peace of mind to know that major repairs are covered with Car Shield. However, when I called to check to see if 2 repairs would be covered only one was; the CV shaft. The tie rods are not covered. Car repairs are expensive and I was disappointed to find out that this was not covered. I do feel that a warranty like this is a good thing to have with an older car. Put in one claim in 4 years. Rejected rejected the map light repair even though original agent said it was covered. Repair place had to diagnose the problem which cost $250 to determine it was not covered.
Cancelled insurance after that and it was the day of month for next payment. I had sold the car. Called car shield to get payment back they said sorry can't do even though I didn't own car. They are rated one of worst companies.
Very good and friendly as always. They carefully listen and give feedback answering all my questions. Follow up to make sure all our needs were met. We have Carshield on both our vehicles which brings peace of mind knowing that in the event we need repairs Carshield will be there for us.

Called Car Shield, and explained air conditioner in van was not working, and got us a mechanic very close, within 3.5 miles! Mechanic said he will order parts. Called a few times, left messages, but never heard back! My husband assumed the a c parts are on back order.

I have not had to actually use the repair part of Car Shield, and I am grateful for that, but their customer service is top notch. During my sign-up phase and questions that I had after were addressed immediately, professionally and even though I couldn't see the rep I could tell they had a smile on their face and were happy to assist me. I am very happy so far.
They offered all the services I was shopping for and at a fair cost.
Pep boys put on hold all the time. Not get through. Day 3 I called. Again in Day 4,5,6,7. Reps would not call shop. Shop cannot spend 45 to an hour to talk to someone. We have to get automated and process electronically for the Shops. 8 days to long. It took myself a rep on the line at the shop to get the ball rolling on day 7th, while I had them on speaker. They breakdown of what Car Shield pays is never clear on the receipts or in contract. They don't pay for a lot of things. But graceful I had them.
Got no where. Told shop needs to call. They can’t get through every time. Car sitting waiting to be fixed.

I chose this because it sounds good, the tv commercials seems legit.I thought that this would be a good warranty to have.
This was my first claim so I didn't know what to expect. My thought was " they're not going fix my vehicle, without giving me a hassle or they gonna send me though a lot of red tape". But I didn't have any problems. Custom service walked me through the whole process. They were professional, put my worries to else. I will keep car shield as long as I have a vehicle.
