No reason to use this site. Cars.com and others are far superior. Poor customer service. Fake listings and scams. Poor marketing practices. Not a user friendly website. No mobile app.

I found 3 different vehicles I was interested in from 3 different dealers. I filled out the online app for each vehicle and have heard nothing from all 3 dealers. No credit was run or anything. Not a word. Where did all of my info go? I would not recommend this site at all

I found recently sold cars on eBay and other sites relisted on Carsforsale site. Orginial prices in the $20-40k range, now only for $2400 or $2900. One "seller" in particular ( joed1.com) has a large quantity.

I'd stop using site, if they can't provide a simple alert system to help others avoid scams.

Tip for consumers:
I'd stop using Carsforsale.com site, if they can't provide a simple alert system to help others avoid scams.

I emailed two different email addresses, for 2 different cars at opposite end of the country and got exactly the same poorly written reply from the same guy. He wasnt smart enough to recognise he was replying to the same person. When i emailed him back with copies of both his emails and asked him " are you trying to scam me" he disappeared

Be very very very careful on this site
