They're really pleased with themselves, but come off like tyrants. Should you pick out a pet who you wish to adopt, you'll be their last priority. They may just stop communicating altogether, and there's lots of excuses why potential adopters are a bothersome intrusion. The day after I was told I'd know something about the wee boy she knew I loved, I was brusquely informed that she hadn't bothered to finish all three references, but that they were paramount. Then an auto email arrived at the last second to say they were taking off for a couple of weeks anyway, so $#*! me, right? All that coaxing for donations... I think people ought not to encourage their unkind, incompetent approach to people.
