Called to change color of items that I ordered. Request was processed and I received my order on time and in the correct color.
Absolutely horrible. Ordered a product and waited 2 weeks to receive it and it WAS BOT EVEN CLOSE. Wrong color, wrong size, no help from customer service, had to send VIN and item # and wait 24 hours to see if they can correct THIER PROBLEM... WHAT!?
This company says they have the part you want and that they ship within 24 hours. Not true! I placed an order that they said was in stock. The ship date showed a date of 4 days later. This was fine but when that date came and went they changed the date to 3 weeks later, without an email or notice. Then when I requested a cancel it takes 2 days for it "TO BE APPROVED" (you don't have the part and never did what is to be approved) then an additional 3-5 days for the money to be returned to my account. Not a very honest way to do business in my opinion.
They are good about telling you they have a product in stock to get you money but hate to return it. I had one product that was returned for a refund and sent on a signature receive after they receive it. They didn't contact and when I call they said I would be getting a full refund. Four days later they said it was damaged and would not return my money. So at this point my out a $1000. 00 plus part. I guess it time for a lawyer which its now going to cost me three times as much. My advice is stay away from them.
Ordered headlights, but when I received them the light bulbs wouldn't fit in it, so I called to return the product. The lady told me to take my bulb holder apart and force it to fit.

I ordered head lights and bulbs Ultra bright and only received the head lights no bulbs which cost more then the headlights then the bulbs came in and was the wring bulbs now it seems I will never get what I paid for the people answering the phone do not help Do Not Use CarId.com for anything.

Ordered new strut assemblies, shocks and wiper blades for my truck. Prices on the strut assemblies were close to 75$ cheaper than competitor websites. Shipped the next day I believe and arrived to my door in about a week (across the country). Thanks again!
Fast service and great customer service when ordering rims for my car
My first (and now only) experience with this company has been quite negative. I ordered a set of AVS in-channel wind visors for my 2015 Honda CIVIC sedan and they are quite obviously the wrong fit. I know I installed them with great care and exactly per instructions, yet Support Representative is trying to convince me that I did something wrong, which is infuriating. I'm not going to bother with a return process, that I know will just add to my negative stress with this company. I'll just figure out a way to remove crap they sent me and shop around for another company. But one thing is certain: I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CARID.COM AGAIN!
I ordered a pair of 20x9 fuel kranks on December 21 I called recently I was told they were not going to ship until January 5th and should take 5 days to ship so now I have my tired waiting which were delivered 2 days after ordering and a lift on my truck I can't drive anywhere until I get the wheels in. Never order from this site. Wish I would have read some reviews before ordering

I refused to buy from them as they don't seem to know their $#*! from a hole in the ground.
I bought a 60" tailgate light bar from them. I got it and it worked fine. Then one day I noticed it was no longer working. The cheap little crappy piece of plastic that holds the fuse came open at some point and the fuse popped out. This is not their fault as they are not the manufacturer.
HOWEVER, I delt with them so I messaged them. I simply told them what happened and that I just need to know what size of fuse was in there so I can go to a local store and buy one. Anyone that knows anything about electrical knows you can do damage to the product or even your vehicle if you put the wrong fuse in.
The reply to me was "The manufacturer of the product tells us the fuse can not be replaced, you will need to purchase a new product". PARDON? Yes ANY fuse can be replaced, and why would I spend 100.00 to buy a new light when I can spend 2.00 (or less) and buy just the fuse?
I replied back and said I was not asking for a freebie or even for them to send me one. I just needed to know what fuse to put back in it and then I would do it myself. They replied again with "I am sorry, but the fuse can not be replaced in this product".
Well if it can not be replaced WHY then does the cheap little white holder open? And if you are going to sell parts you should know what you are selling. I asked for a manager to reply to me, someone who knows what they are talking about and I got a third message telling me that the fuse can not be replaced and to have a good day.
I will NEVER use them again.
I had written a review earlier about how this company had failed to honor the price they quoted. Here is some more information. This company didn't care to honor their emailed price quote and their customer service couldn't have cared less UNTIL I contacted the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey. After I contacted them they finally wanted to take action. You would think it would be to honor their quoted price but it was not. They said they would discount the product to try and rectify the situation after I had filed a complaint with the BBB AND returned their product. But here's the kicker, they tried to lure me in with a discount but then add shipping and handling and taxes to the product that they didn't charge me initially! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED COMPANY!

Deceptive photograph of product (showed a pair, shipped one), no return labels, shipping costs almost as much a product, charge for return, product did not fit. What appears to be an automated return process on the website is completely fake - it is not connected to anything. When you eventually talk to a person, there is a long run around because the product may not be in new condition and in its original packaging, and when I finally did get notice of a return authorization that would be issued, it was conditional upon Carid's supplier issuing it. So far- nothing. Obviously they are just taking and forwarding orders. I feel dumb for having bought from them -they appeared to have a replacement product I couldn't find elsewhere, but I basically threw $50 + down the drain. If there was a zero number of stars I would use it.
