Just typed in the VIN and it already showed me that the car was sold at Copart, with some preview data like photos and sale info — enough to know it had been in an accident. That alone probably saved me from overbidding on something that looked too good to be true. Didn't even need to pay for the full report that time — the free preview was already useful.
