“Fantastic Family Care in Reno Nevada”

Lyle D.
2/3/23

Park Place Assisted Living in Reno Nevada cared for my mom for about 2.5 years, up until her recent death in January 2023. She had been in a couple of Physical Rehab Centers after short stays in the hospital when it became apparent that she could no longer care for herself at home. I did my research and took a chance with Park Place. Thank God that I did. My mom's care was so good that my dad agreed to move in with her back in 2020. He was at the last stages of his life and passed away there in 2021. My mom continued on and made the statement to me on more than one occasion, "please don't move me from here". She had to care for her father when I was a kid and she knew what "good care" and "bad care" looked like. My mom slowly lost her faculties over time both on the mental and physical level. There were times when I was afraid that Park Place would say, "your mother is beyond our care requirements". However, that message never came! As my mom declined, Park Place increased their care and made sure that she was comfortable and happy as could be. It is my understanding that Park Place was started by a local judge who's mother needed care many years ago. He could not find a suitable provider in the area, so he got some investors and built Park Place. To this day they continue to fulfill their mission of making our loved ones feel at home, happy and as healthy as possible. I highly recommend Park Place if you have a loved one that needs Assisted Living Care.

“Visiting Angels are liars, and NOT dedicated to their clients, as they claim.”

Michael S.
11/16/22

Visiting Angels took almost a year to arrange a caregiver, then a couple months later They informed me that they would no longer provide a caregiver unless I agreed to have The service for at least 15 hours or more a week. They notified me by mail saying my service would end in 30 days, but then quit sending My caregiver after two weeks. They are ONLY interested in making more money, and do not care one bit about their clients. They are liars, and NOT dedicated to their clients, as they claim. Their services are unreliable and just mediocre when finally provided with a caregivers who are not dependable.

A minute agoNEW-Edit
Beware - do not hire this service for your loved one. This review would be no stars if possible. I hired Comfort Keepers for my 93 year old mother who was coming home from a TCU. I met with two staff who assessed my mother at the TCU. I then met at my mother's home to assess the space. I had hired a care giver to care for my mother two four shifts (morning and afternoon). The first day my mother was home I received a call forty minutes past the scheduled time indicating the care giver wasn't there. Apparently he had lost his phone, gotten lost and they didn't know where he was and when he would arrive. In panic mode I called my sister who ran over to my mom't house. At this point the care giver had arrived and claimed he had been only 15 minutes late. Now I have a care giver who has not shown up on time and lied about his arrival. I had left instructions of care for my mother including making sure she had eaten breakfast (he did not) and making sure she took her morning meds (didn't do this either). Basically none of the instructions were followed or even looked at. When my sister came at noon she said all that was given to her was a piece of peanut butter toast. My mother was charged $46 an hour for this lack of care. I have no idea what went on because no notes were ever put in the system regarding this visit. The evening of this visit my mother was re-hospitalized (not sure how much the events of the morning had to do with this but she wasn't given her med/fluids or the care she needed). I requested a refund and the company has refused. They offered a free visit. I would never put my mother at risk with this company. Obviously this care giver had never cared for anyone or been trained. If you have a loved one who needs care DO NOT contact this company.

They're the worst. [Care Plus NJ 610 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, NJ]. They lied and said they take Medicare but they still bill you) of course I never paid Kathleen DeMeers). They work only for the agenda of the US government to diagnose patients as mere "patient is a chronic complainer"..."lazy patient" and "patient is a whiner". In the American medical industry they are regarded "primary patient slanderers" and they are against the patient. Don't go to them and never pay any of their bills. The worst social worker is Kathleen DeMeers who is supposedly "licensed" and a social worker. In fact all Ms DeMeers will denigrate and degrade you to your face. I question Care Plus's motives. All they do is try to illicit confessions out of patients which typical in the US. The first thing they tell you is "the medicine your physician is prescribing you is bad and we want you get off of it" also typical of American fraudulent medical practices. They get government dollars for doing that. I complained in writing against them to all the appropriate agencies and I complained on Ms DeMeers in writing and I named and shamed Care Plus NJ in Paramus NJ. They will stack slanderous false diagnosis's against you. That's what bad doctors call "stacking" and doctors in America do that mostly against low-income citizens to intimidate the patient to make the patient pay more money. Don't pay the medical bills- name them and shame them so they will not have enough patients. It's US "caregivers" like this who you should snitch on to the authorities and wear it like a badge of honor. Like I said, I worked in the American medical industry and I always witnessed so much of this abuse against American patients the way the providers slander you on their medical records and that destroys your eligibility for everything. It's a human rights violation and it only happens in the US. All the other nations protect their citizens. Here you are forced to be vulnerable to government abuse and all sorts of financial abuse. I told my kids never to join the army because of this and they promised they will never pledge allegiance, too. Like I said: this is illegal in all other nations especially Europe. Those nations governments always protect their citizens and visitors.

STAY AWAY from "Global Provider Solutions" (GPS).
The owner Michelle Evans-Dodgen, has been ripping off her employees all over L. A., and there's a good chance you won't get paid for the hours you work.
You can see how she's ripped people off here:

If you have had a problem with her, or any other employer, you can always contact the firm below. (I have NO affiliation with them)...

CAREGIVERS: If you are a 24-hour caregiver in a private home, and paid a day-rate or salary, you are NOT receiving overtime and likely have a valuable claim. Many 24-hour caregivers must be paid at least $315 a day to comply with California law. If you are paid less, our attorneys are available for a free consultation at:
