They are fine to send you texts and emails every month about the payment, but when the promotional period is ending, they never expressly tell you. We brought our pets to a veterinary clinic and we didn't expect the bill to be outrageous! We applied for care credit on more than one occasion for veterinary services and every time we were turned down without no explanations at all! Everyone says they are so wonderful, but in all actuality, they suck and just made fools out of us! They don't even deserve one star!
I signed up for CareCredit for an implant surgery. My surgery was in 2 weeks. I get an email notification and approval right away stating that I can use my card ASAP with the given information. I get an email from Synchrony bank stating that they need to verify my account, and I need to send them a copy of my license and lease agreement ASAP. I expedite it via NEXT DAY AIR. I call to follow up and they said it's going to take 30 days to verify my account. This was after being hung up on twice in a row, not for being rude, but literally while the rep is talking to me, they hung up on me. How are you going to email me stating that I can use my card, then tell me over the phone to expedite my documents so that they can approve me ASAP, and once I expedite my documents, they tell me it will take 30 days to review my information. Makes no sense and it's very frustrating.
Been paying on my account for a full year for an emergency surgical procedure, upon looking at my balance it still remains the same. I called three times inquiring about my balance and the 'so called late fee'. I was told on the 3rd call that I needed to pay off balance within 6 mos WHICH WAS NEVER TOLD TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE, then on top of that I noticed a 'late fee' when I called the 1st time I was ASSURED IT WOULD BE WAIVED BECAUSE IT WASN'T MY FAULT BANK PROCESSED THE NEXT DAY... THEY ASSURED ME THEY WOULD WAIVE FEE WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. On the 2nd/ 3rd call more of the SAME bs was told to me. They didnt come close to telling me why my balance was still the same after a year of payment... I decided to contact my State Department of Fraud which is helping me with this issue. I also told the doctor who told me about this "care credit insurance" for that emergency procedure and he advised his staff not to continue to recommend this company. Their customer service folks are rude until you actually get someone who understands English. Think before getting involved with this company
Never once late on a payment. Always charged and payed my card off immediately. Yet my account was closed. Why? Because my credit score dropped. So never missing a payment didnt matter to them. When I called to see why they said we sent you an email. Do you know how many emails I get a day? I didn't even see it. For a company that is supposed to help people who are struggling to pay for medical bills they sure are no help. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Care Credit is the worst company to deal with. You cannot get a person or even find a phone number unless you are late and then they are extremely quick to ruin your credit score. I highly advise against ever using them

$18.00 a month finance charge on a $800.00 card bill seems high to me. Especialy since they charged me $126.00 finance charge for who knows what a few months in. Do not use this card if you can help it. They suck.
Beware! Please read the fine print before using this Care credit card. They will NOT allow balance transfers. If you decide to get a lower interest rate card or 0 interest rate thinking you can transfer the balance, you realize care credit is the worst of the worst for not allowing you to transfer their high interest rate balance.

I applied for the care credit because my dog got diagnosed with cancer, the vet was going to charge me $837 for labs, testing, and meds to help her. The vet was more then willing to work with me when care credit wouldn't at all. It should be called "death credit" because if you don't have perfect credit your screwed, whether it is you or your family or the animal you consider family needing help!
They are terrible with customer service allocated money to wrong account at 23% interest. Spoke with 3 different support people 2 weeks in a row. I was told could take up to 2 months to fix. The worst part was the customer support rude uncaring and degrading. In these times you would hope people could be caring and supportive. You call Customer Service and they are not trying to help you - they are not trying to help you - they are trying to make. You wait so long that you give up and hang up. I was on the phone for 2 hours and spoke with 3 different agents. I had to repeat the story 3 times and they came up with every excuse to not help me. They told me I had to write them with proof of overpayment even though they claim that they could see the account info. When I asked to speak to a Manager, I waited for an hour and never spoke to a Manager - instead, the 2nd agent came on and said that Manager was very busy and yes, she could see the overpayment and would issue a check. I have had credit cards for over 40 years and never got this much of a runaround. Don't use this credit card! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I was told to go to metzer animal in state college pa, they said would look at cat, but needed to have cc to let animal, they talked me to apply for carecredit whey clerk could see limit. I had with me tests, xrays from other vet(less 24hr). They looked at cat, never did procedure, but redid all other tests. Wanted 3000$more for another, gave cat shot after told he had bad reactions from before, vitamins and other items 750$. The cat reacted and died from shot, called mfg. And was told shot never to sick cat. CareCredit not back me up, even with proof. CareCredit helps crooked vets/doc scam you where regular card would give protection. I canceled filled with attorney general office, we need class action against CareCredit, I also cancel Sam's card they are also by Synchrony bank
I signed up for an interest free account to have one eye corrected. My Agreement stated that after 18 months, I would incur interest charges for any remaining balance... August 18th Care Credit's Synchrony Bank charged me $981 in INTEREST on my outstanding balance of $1078. Bringing my balance with Sychrony to almost the same amount that my original eye surgery charges were 18 months ago. This bank is a bunch of CROOKS. If you take out Credit, don't do it with this Bank.
