“Happy Purchaser”

I've purchased 3 different physical gift cards and have received them within a few days - one for a convenience store, one for a fast food place and one for a casual dining restaurant. They have all been of the value promised with no problem redeeming them. While the discount is not great, I'm happy to save a few dollars on places I frequent. The one I used today was coupled with a $10 off $25 newspaper restaurant coupon. $10 plus $2.50 off - half price total!. Haven't sold any gift cards but purchasing experience has been fine.

BBB has no authority. They are basically another review site. You need to file complaints of this type of fraud with the groups that have teeth, such as the police, FBI for interstate transactions/fraud, Attorney General of the state the business is located. You should also register with the card company when you get the cards as an added security measure.

I sold an Apple Store card, got an amazon card code emailed to me the next day. I was worried from other reviews that it have been a bad card, but I checked the balance immeadiately and it was valid. They WILL check your CC card balance (known as provisioning) and you should always monitor payments made online or use a masking service like Blur to protect yourself. So far no funny business and I can finally use my money again

Cards were provided at a small discount & shipped quickly enough; site requires entry of a second (mailed) code for authentication.

Tip for consumers:
Electronic cards may not deliver right away - or even within the hour (as one order took as many as four hours before being delivered); as such, plan accordingly!

I was a little hesitant to try Cardpool but have to say that I sold 3 electronic gift cards recently with NO problems. My Amazon cards were in my inbox the next day. Will use in the future.

I just want to say reading some of those reviews had me super worried. But I took it upon myself and I sold my Apple card to Cardpool. I had my amazon code within 24 hrs. I already had my items in my cart at Amazon. So as soon as they sent me my codes. I went and used them in my cart. They worked immediately with noooo problems. I will use them again. Thanks Cardpool. And to Bruce the rep that called and verified my card.

First, I submitted my gift card ($400.00 Apple store) and then after reading the reviews, I immediately canceled. I sent an email to the company to ask why are customers having such a bad experience. I had an immediate response advising the company was recently sold and the new owners are trying to clean up "a mess". So after a few back and forth correspondences, I decided to give them a chance, knowing this could end up in a nightmare situation. However, the complete opposite. I submitted my gift card and within 7 weeks received a check in the mail. Thanks Ryan for the great experience and we will definitely be back!

I was a little worried about using cardpool but they offered the best value compared to other companies and I figured even if it caused a hassle its not like I was going to ever use the gift card as it was. Cardpool was really fast and I got the money as an amazon credit in less than 24 hours. I may use them again if I find myself in this situation.

I recently sold 2 target gift cards and I was impress on how fast the card was sold and I was able to get the pay check from Card pool within a Week. This is the first time I am using Cardpool and I am totally satisfy with the follow up from their process reminder through email. I don't see any problems as those negative comments.

I've read multiple negative reviews regarding cardpool, so I was hesitant to use them myself. The only reason I gave it a try was because I've used the kiosk back in the day when it was owned by CoinStar, and the kiosk is still in Stop N Shop. So I tried to sell my $50 Walmart Gift card at the kiosk, but it wouldn't work. I called customer service, they said to do it online and that I'll recieve even more for the card. Went online, read a bunch of negative reviews. Hesitated, but took my chances anyway as I didn't want the card, got it free so I really didn't have much to lose.

I sent them the card info on Wed. Last week, they verified the balance in less than 24 hours, and I recieved an email saying that they confirmed my balance and were mailing a check out in 1 business day. Today is Monday of the following week, and I got my check in the mail for $45!

I'm not going to lie, I was surprised it reached that fast... and that they gave me $45 on a $50 card. Not bad. I didn't have to send in the physical card, and was able to just provideo the card information online. I can't speak on anyone else's past experiences. But as of June 18,2018 they seem to be legitimate. I think what happens alot of times is, people sell them cards. Retrieve there rebate from cardpool, and then burn them and use the giftcard anyway. So its not that they're not checking the cards they recieve, it's just greedy people who burn them. So in return they end up burning you unknowingly, but choose not to do anything about it, because it would be costing them too much money. Not saying that's right, but I believe that's what happens.

NOTE -> For all that are saying they dont have a phone number, thats not true. The kiosk at Stop N Shop has the phone number for them on it. I called them when the kiosk wouldnt take my card and the lady is the one who told me to do it online. So if you're having an issue with an order, locate a kiosk at your local Stop N Shop and there will be a number attached to the machine that you can speak to a live person. Hope this helps!

Edit- Ok, since I keep getting this reminder that I left this review and I see there are STILL people who are getting bad service from there let me give you my advice from what I've gathered since the 1 time I've used them.(it's been almost a year since I originally wrote this review). I've recommended 2 of my friends to use them, and 1 got paid while the other one didn't. What I've noticed is, with non-physical gift cards that you don't have to send in. They've paid out on both times(once for me and couple months later for a friend). My other friend sent in a physical gift card, and never received a check. So I'm guessing that whether it be untrustworthy employees or whatever the case maybe, but from my 1 friends experience and the other reviews I've read online. It seems that people who send in the actual card are the ones who haven't gotten paid, while those who just have to supply them with the numbers off the card always seem to get paid. So if I was you. If I had a physical card, I would probably try shopping around or bringing the card to the pawn shop or check cashing place (they usually buy them), and if you have the type where they just want the numbers then go ahead and do it. Like I said in my original review, they sent me $45 off a $50 card! That's what's up. And the check came in literally less than a week. My friend got $178 from a $200 card which isn't anything to laugh at either! And then my own friend got played. So that's all the advice I can offer. Hope this helps. If you haven't gotten paid, CALL THEIR A$$ES! I know I would be..

I was a little nervous to work with them because of all the reviews on this site, but went ahead and sold my $50 gift card to them last night to try and help out with some last minute Christmas expenses on Amazon. Just woke up and had my Amazon gift card code in my email and was just able to apply it to my Amazon account. So glad I tried it! FYI, my gift card had NEVER been used, so that may be the reason why they reject some gift cards(if they have previous transactions on them they may not want to resell them). Good luck to everyone else!

I recieved my check in the mail within a week. I was scared because after i sent all the information, i decided to look at reviews after and me and my husband were scared to think we got scammed. But to my surprise it actually came in the mail (Thank God). I was pleased with this website, thankful I wasnt the one with the same bad reviews that people experienced with.

I have used them numerous times and they have always delivered on-time and in the proper amount. They are fairly quick with delivering e-gift cards and overall I don't have any complaints about using them to buy e-gift cards.

Sold them a best buy gift card $119.00, got $107.00 check in the mailbox for it. Easy, and I really loved getting a good price for it.
I'd do it again in a heart beat.

I'm not sure why this site has so many bad reviews. As a person who used to own a survey site, it's probably from people not following directions, or trying to use the card after they sold it. It worked perfectly for me, I sold two cards, a Macy's card that I got from swagbucks and a Victoria Secret card that I gave to a Tinder chick and took it back from her after I found out she got some more side dudes without asking me first. Got my check in about 5 biz days.

Tip for consumers:
Be sure the value of your card is correct when you enter it in.

I received a bunch of gift cards from work over the past few months and needed cash not gift cards. I found Cardpool and saw that they had the highest cash back %. Said hey screw it and gave them a try. I sold $750 in cards and got about $650 cash. Entire process took about a week. The called me to verify my identity, just mailing address and how I got the cards. If I get any more will definitely be using this service again.

I had an digital gift card (Just a card number and PIN) from HP for $100. I didn't want an amazon gift card, nor did I want to wait for a better offer on the market, so I sold the card directly CardPool online. Their offer was $75, which may seem like a sizable chunk, but they have to make a profit, so I understand.
I sold it August 6,2018. After selling it I received a confirmation e-mail less than 5 minutes later. Less than 24 hours later I received an e-mail saying they processed my order and they sent out the check, and that I should receive it in 3-7 days, with a *note that delays could make it take 2-3 weeks and to contact them if I don't receive it after 3 weeks. It said to make sure that the gift card is never used from now on or else they'll charge me.
I received my check in the mail August 11,2018. No problems with the check, it was for the $75 I agreed to and it cashed fine.

I came here to see which gift-card exchange program was legit. After reading a few reviews (which were admittedly mixed) I, somewhat reluctantly went with it to exchange a gift card I'd gotten for my birthday (on something I'd never use) for a different gift card I'd actually be likely to use. I was gratified that I got the credit the day after I submitted my gift card. (It was an e-gift card, and I exchanged it for another e-gift card... so all I had to do once I got their email was use the claim code to apply to the target merchant. I vowed to myself that I'd come back and post something here for others to read. The original $100 gift card resulted in $75 at the merchant I wanted, which, while on the one hand takes away 25% of its value, on the other hand gives me value where I might actually use it. I do recommend cardpool.

I've seen so many bad reviews for Cardpool that I decided to write about my positive experience. I think some people aren't giving it enough time. I went on their website around January 20th. I was selling a $25 Fandango gift card. I input all of my gift card info and waited patiently. On February 9th I got an email saying they processed the transaction and were mailing my check. On February 15th I received my check. I think if people are in a big hurry this may not be the website for you. However, if you are just hoping to unload a gift card you know you will not use, it's a great option.

So they slow with getting egc #s out. It took about 12 hrs for mine to arrive which is acceptable although not prefered this day in age by people who want it NOW! I thank you, CP for saving me money. 12 hrs is nothing esp compared to how much I saved over Raise and Zen.
