Capital One

I have a been a customer for over 10 years, so I think I can really evaluate them in terms of their growth. Years ago, they had terrible customer service, but I've seen a lot of progress since then. Maybe it was all of the bad reviews and complaints? Whatever the reason, they've become quite responsive. Their website works and is user friendly. Plus, they have a Credit Wise feature which allows you to check your FICO and credit report for free! I think their charge dispute process still needs improvement, but overall, I'm satisfied.

Great card to start building your credit. They upped my credit limit from 300 to 1800 after around a year of responsible usage. The Quicksilver card is also amazing, if you can get accepted.

I just got off the phone with capital one customer service and the person I talked to was amazing. He even told me merry Christmas. He activated my card within a few seconds. I have not had any issues with this account and I've had it for many years. Thank you so much for being amazing and taking care of me in the way I deserve. Your customer service rocks!

When my credit score was 508, it was Capital One that took a chance on me and sent me a pre-approved credit card based on the fact that I had my pay directly deposited into my checking account. With the daily information that they provided me on my account and checking for other cards I was preapproved for---well let just say that after twelve months of due diligence and on-time payments, my credit score today is 715 across the board... in one year. The only complaint that I have against Capital One is they don't have a feedback email, or I would thank them that way.

I would like to acknowledge Capital One and it's employees who helped me with two Vendors disputes of charges to my account. After numerous back and forth with Capital One they decided in my favor and put the money back into my account. Capital One is one of the few CC companies that works for the card holder not the Vendors. Most could care less about the customer, that is why I have kept my Capital One card for so many years. My credit card was restricted and I tried to reach customer service to get help. I talked Jesy who helped me out. She has an exceptional customer service skills. She was very kind, polite, attentive, patient and jovial. I was fully satisfied with the help I got!

They deserve negative stars I see why there is no monthly fee and no overdraft fee that's to reel you in because they will play with you money I would rather pay a monthly fee and actually get real service I disputed a transaction and they didn't even try to contact me after they said they would if they needed anything further and sided with the scamming company until I called back and refused to pay and told them I had documentation if they would have just asked for it now I'm bank account in overdrawn and I can't use it and all the can say because they reopened the case is we still have to review the documents after almost a week of having them so we can't do anything like super unprofessional I been with them for almost 5 years and even have a credit card but I'm done it's really stupid and unprofessional and you can't just be playing with people money & time and we talking $300 it's a lot for them to be asking to basically just give some company for nothing I have a baby on the way and I have large bills never again they know how hard it is out here right now and they know these little LLC's be scamming people but they don't care because it's not their money

I never write reviews, but decided to point this out. I was just looking at another companies reviews and they were HORRIBLE. I decided to come over to look at Capital One's reviews as I have done business with them for years and more recently this week with a large undertaking. I have been VERY happy with the company and they have helped me when my own credit union of 31 years have not. Now, I'm seeing these bad things written here also. C'mon Now! Who do you believe? First of all this is bye far one of the worst companies to do business with please i repeat please do not go thru with any of there crap I'm closing all my capital cards and loan they definitely cant have my business any longer. They give you the run around like no one can help you and I'm just tired of hearing I'm sorry when they just don't even care so yea $#*! you capital one

Capital one is the most useless bank ever. Their credit card dept sucks as well as the supervisors. Coming from someone who never writes a review on anything, I can tell you it's a crappy bank full of lies and reps who provide wrong information. Bank with them at your own risk.

When they say no fee at the ATM there full of $#*!. Yes they offer no fees but if you have simply checking that doesn't apply it's only for 360 account customers.so if you have simply checking you're nothing but chop meat. And my closest branch is 35 miles 1 way because they shut down every branch in my immediate area. If you make the futile attempt to speak to anyone at a branch office good luck with that. Because they never pick up. Find yourself a bank that actually appreciates having you as a customer

I had accounts in the past or currently have accounts in the following banks, Chase, Capital One, Key, Wells Fargo, TD, M&T, City, Apple, Discover Bank, Green Dot, MVB, Charle Schwab.
And the bank I am using the most, and happy with is Capital One Bank, for checking and even for credit cards!

Today I had the greatest experience I ever with a representative of any type. This customer service representative went above and beyond her job to actually help me out today. Corianne provided some great information for me today. Not only do I have a great representative which I have a absolute great asset to Capital one in Corianne. The experience that I had with Corianne was like no other I have ever experience with any representative that ever spoke to over the phone. Her willingness to help and provide vital information and even chat with me show that she care for the Capital One customers. So today I'm given Corianne 5 stars If I can give her more I would.
