These guys scammed me. I was hired by one Ruth Bingham-Hamilton of Canvas8, for whom I delivered the work as agreed, but she felt she could have her cake and eat it. On no account do I recommend you do business with them. They use slave labour and abuse their workers. Here are the audio I was hired to provide a transcription-translation for on February 14,2020. They were focus group interviews conducted, I believe, by Canvas8. [link removed] [link removed] Even though the audio was of rather bad quality in many areas with A LOT of dropped-off sentences, false starts, indistinct talk and unintelligible overlap of speech from different speakers, I managed to provide very high quality transcripts and translations. After what was over a week of gruelling work on this, all I got was an ungrateful contact-person in their company tip-toeing her way around not paying me, for work that I had completed! I found the conduct of my contact-person at Canvas8 to be highly disgraceful and indeed representative of the company as a whole. On the basis of my experience with them, I do not recommend you do business with Canvas8.
