“I highly recommend Canva for anyone”

I recently started using Canva and I couldn't be more impressed with its functionality and user-friendly interface. The app has made a significant impact on my daily routine, streamlining tasks and providing valuable insights. The developers have clearly put a great deal of thought and effort into creating a top-notch app that caters to its users' needs. I highly recommend Canva for anyone looking to simplify their life and increase productivity.

“Canva admin totally useless and incapable”

On 20th Dec I subscribed to Canva. I did get an invoice, but not with a GPA number. This purchase was made directly through them and NOT Google. I decided that I did not want to continue with Canva that their software was not what I was looking for. I'm not even looking for a refund. However, after 10 emails and more to and from, they don't even read the content of my emails and keep telling me they cannot unsubscribe me and I must go through Google. Google on the other hand say I'm not subscribed to Canva through Google (which I'm aware of). But now I'm made to feel like a complete idiot from Canva who insists there is nothing they can do to unsubscribe me, that they cannot unsubscribe me incase the unsubscribe the wrong account. My gosh, I've never heard anything so bizarre. Please can someone out there advise on where to go from here. This process has been a nightmare to say the least. So what, am I to pay USD$9.99 per month indefinitely?!

We enjoy using Canva for team design collaboration for our startup business. The ability to collaborate and organize in folders is nice, as well as the designs and features available for use. However, sometimes the website doesn't show the correct thumbnails of the design that has been edited and can be glitchy switching between the desktop and mobile app. We are a startup business (www.sbia1.com) but mainly use Canva for promoting our social content on our platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn.

The product its truly breahttaking, but due to their 24h-response policy, it's now taken me over a week to solve one little thing on my Canva website.

So take this, for every follow-up question I ask, about the same support topic, I have to wait 24h to get a response. When Canva did not understand my question, I have to rephrase it, and have to wait another 24h. On and on and on. Very, very annoying.

And the only reason why they do this is to reduce the amount of support requests. But what happens in reality, they place the border on the customer, because he/she has to wait extremely long to get their support request solved.

I like the templates and the elements and was using them enough to justify premium. The trial period is quite generous and monthly fee is not bad. Improvements could be made to the editor as it's quite clunky and cumbersome. There's no flow and batch edits are difficult. Overall tho, I'd say it's easy and the templates are attractive.

When I used Canva, it wasn't bad, but when I closed down my tab when I was done with it for the day, it didn't save. I don't know why. I had to start all over again. Also, Canva keeps on messaging me. I have received over 15 emails from them in the last month.

Anyway, Canva wasn't bad, just remember not to close down your tab!

Nice toy, nothing more, nothing less. The free version is fine for some playing around, but if you get serious on design you better join Adobe CC. More expensive, but don't forget if you pay peanuts you get monkeys. But even the price is not peanuts.

Tip for consumers:
Stick to the free version and learn adobe illustrator or Corel draw

I must say, I like Canva's online services and platform. However, they steal from you and the customer service sucks. I had a free trial of Canva for Work and cancelled before it was up. Canva went ahead and charged me $119.40 for a year's subscription anyway. I have used their website to contact them 3 times about the error. No response. They have no phone number you can call or other way to contact them. My bank also has been trying to contact them to no avail. I strongly suggest you not leave your credit card info on their site: it seems they will charge it without authorization, and trying to get your money back will be frustrating at the very least.

UPDATE: I finally got Canva's attention by posting this review to Twitter and Facebook. They responded via Twitter in about 2 hours and, after a bit of back and forth, they refunded my money in full. Sadly, it seems that the way to get their attention is to bash them on Twitter.
