I ordered a part for my Rv on April 19th 2022. I finally had to cancel it because it had no shipped. I went straight to the supplier and it will be here on Friday the 13th. Camping World had three weeks and couldn't tell me why it hadn't shipped. We are done with them. We had our RV insurance with them and did not renew and got better coverage with a lower rate. By the way the part was cheaper from the manufacturer. Kinda shows you what they think of camping world doesn't it. So beware of them. And don't try to complain to them because it goes no where. I had to give one star they don't deserve that.
I have recently Purchased a 2017 fusion toyhauler So upon Delivery sale filling up paperwork in stipulations with buying this machine dispensal There were certain items that need to be fixed and gone through one was replaced the T v's it were not there. An fix the rear door which was an order everything else was supposed to have had been done gone through everything was in good working for order this all took place in March it is now May I have yet to get my vessel from Monticello Camping World because of lack of staff over look think that needed repaired.
I talk to a sales manager and was told as is. Well when was going through my loan paperwork there was a Certain amount extra on my loan I asked what it was it was for doing all the refurbishing of this vessel I was OK with that I brought this up to the sales manager he told me as is I go excuse me you would send a bad plug in cord out with a machine that was supposed to be gone through I was very furious and yet this day I am still waiting for peace parts to get repaired and have not been able to use my fusion because of lack of staff Communication.
I tried to exchange folding loungers that I purchased and never used. These still had the tags on them. All I wanted was to trade for different chairs that would actually fit in the storage area of my new camper. It has been over 90 days so they would do nothing for me. The manager asked if I had purchased the warranty? I said no and asked why? He said that if I had a warranty he could take them back as damaged (even though they are perfect) and provide me with a store credit… bet he would just put them back in the inventory and sell them anyway! RIP-OFF!
I normally do all my business with Byerly RV… guess I learned my lesson.

I've had a series of problems since I started with this RV a 2019 Thor 30.3 rv since my purchase in February 2022 at Camping World, Gulfbreeze, FL. One of the many problems was the Furnace would not stay lit. The past three nights where I camped, the temp was 32*.
I went to the Camping World Service Center, Salt Lake City, Utah morning of 4-May-22 and told them of the all problems I've had with this unit, especially the Furnace, That I had emailed a list of my complaints to the Company CO Marcus Secretary of all the problems I have had with my RV,
The service manager Corry, at Salt Lake City (I guess) took sympathy on me!
They arranged for me to bring my RV in
The next morning at 9 o'clock and have successfully repaired my heater!
Salt Lake City Camping World has made me a very Happy Camper!
I greatly appreciate the service of Tina one of the receptionist, Jacquie Marcos the service advisor and of course Corry, the service manager and the technician that quickly found the problem with my Furnace! The problem was only a Bad Wire connection from the thermostat to the heater!
The heater works great now!

Numerous requests and efforts to have agreed upon work done on a used travel trailer to no avail. Several requests for work under the expensive extended warranty and they could not even get it in once. All talk no action. Do not buy from here

As a hole sail customer if something is in stock the St Augustine camping world parts manager will refuse to sell even after customers told part was in stock and drove hour to location and refused to sell

I have a dispute with Camping World on April 12th 2022 I bought a Cadac Safari chef 30 from them online. Above is a link to their ad. Camping World actually sent me a Cadac Safari chef 2. When I saw what was in the box that I received, I was very disappointed. I have enclosed pictures of what they sent me. Customer service from Camping World informed me that was exactly the same thing just a name change. My point is that during my research on the Cadac I became aware of the name change and I opted to pay for the Safari chef 30 instead of a safari chef 2. I wanted the label of Safari chef 30 on the grill and the carry bag. Not Safari chef 2.
With their ad Camping World encouraged me to buy one product and switched it for another product after I had paid for it. To me that seems to be, just call it bad business. Is this legal in your country?
Just a heads up, if you have had terrible service from your local camping world and reach out to Camping World's Corporate Office don't look for any help from them either! This was the worst service from both the local and corporate office I have ever received in my life! The lady that was in charge of my case file at the corporate office called and left me a message that they could not do anything further for me and not to call back. They did not even have the decency to call me back and talk to me. I tried to call back so I could speak to her and they said that they can longer help me and not to call back. I will tell anyone do not buy anything from Camping World if you want to be treated like a human being, all they care about is what they can sell you! Not what they can help you with when one of their stores does not do their Job!
I placed my order on the phone for a awning that I have to paid $2000+ for the complete kit includes all the hardware when I received the awning there's damage all over the frame and they didn't send me the hardware included awning door switch. I called customer service they told me they can't help me it is some other company responsibility. Now I'm still waiting to hear from the whe I've waiting for 1 1/2 for that awning.

I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I filled out an application in January and they told me they would "soft hit" my credit. And they did. But, I didn't find an RV I wanted. Then in March I found one. I called and asked the saleman to send me the price, costs, my down payment so I could send to MY BANK to get financing. The next thing I know, the CW finance guy calls and says my info "landed on his desk" and I qualified for a loan with them. When I called him back I told him I didn't asked that they qualify me. I just wanted info to go to MY BANK. He told me they could finance me for 9.25% (outrageous). Then Experian started emailing me that my credit had been hit. They FARMED me out and 6 BANKS hit my credit! I had NOT AUTHORIZED them to run my credit and they did it without my permission and now my credit report has 6 credit inquiries which hurts anyone's credit!
Now, I can't get either the saleman or the finance guy to call me back. They know they did wrong.
So, don't give them any information AT ALL or they will run your credit without your permission and damage your credit.
I wouldn't buy an RV from Camping World if they were the last RV place on earth!
Horrible Customer service, did not follow through on anything, it's been over 3 weeks since signed paperwork and still do not have my camper! I will never recommend this company nor ever purchase from here again! Everyone is "in a meeting" or "will call you back" or "call someone else" worst company ever! You will Never get a call back! Was told $125 to transfer registration some how my blank check I HAD TO GIVE THEM TO DO THE REGISTRATION WAS WRITTEN FOR $713! No answers! Horrible company
Got new heater installed and the electric heater did not work was told to bring it back but was told that I did not know how to work it, I drove hour and a half they also did not give me a discount until I asked for it. I also filled a claim but was never called back.

We bought our RV in 2018 the hot water heater went went out 6 months later and I took a camping world where we bought it they said they fixed it they gave me receipt looked at the receipt after I got home and it was for another RV another owner then the hot water heaters stopped working again so I was without hot water for another 5 months so I went to camping world again and put it in there I was without the RV for 4 months while they fixed it got it back and we had damage to it so they agreed to fix the damages went back we had more damage done to it came back and there was more damage done to it the manager told us that we're doing it as we're coming to pick it up and that they're not going to fix it and we said that we didn't do it we haven't even had it long enough to do anything we haven't taken off this site yet and they told us get it off or we're calling the cops on you. Each time I called camping world called a customer complaint and you saw him I was told the problems would be rectified that the service manager would be taken care of at the other camping world that threatened us to call the cops and I said I wanted to get our extended warranty refunded to us and they said they would do it and that was in 2019 2022 still no refund
This place is absolutely horrible. They send your private information to another customer, tell you they did. Then lie and say they didn't. They refuse to allow you to see actual numbers unless you sign and you give a down payment before even seeing the numbers from a bank. Then raise the amount higher when they finally let you see the numbers. But on that is all lost within the numbers that it looks as if you didn't even put such a large amount down, refuse to even get you a better deal based on over 700 credit score. Then stick you with the first payment before 30 days. Oh did I mention you tell them you need a receiver and all, get there and suddenly they don't have them in stock so we have to purchase and pay someone else to put it on while they charge us $800 for a hitch. Stick you even more they drain your entire account (I transfer money over) to get every last cent even though it was more then agreed on. Of course they put it back and even gave us a frame to hang on the wall of a camper we could not bring home because now we have to find a receiver and find someone to put it on. Bend us over!
Bought a brand new Travel Trailer/Toy Hauler from Camping World in Georgetown KY. The unit had a faulty fridge in it. As of now my camper has been in the Georgetown KY Camping world repair shop for three weeks and when I check yesterday the replacement fridge had not been ordered yet. I called for an update last week and left a message for the service manager to call me back. No return call. End of the Week I called again. No return call. Called yesterday and spoke with the service manager. He told me that he would call and see if more information was needed because the claim had no moved and would call me back after. No return call. It's the middle of the day now and no one is answering the phones at the location.
Answer: Honestly, the more I look to find answers on Camping world, the more negative reviews I see, had an RV dropped off a Forklift while I was signing papers! Try to beat that! New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth! It's one thing for accidents to happen, it's another to not make things right, bad management!
