No no no do not deal with this or any camping world, they will suck you in on an extended warranty without you knowing. Then tell you too bad you signed it. Please check other reviews before being taken as a lot of good people have been!

Stay far away
August 14, 2022

Was sold a camper that depreciated 50%,
($15,000) in 3 weeks. Was told there is nothing that can be done. We learned our lesson, please stay away from camping world.

We bought a camper from camping world and took out the extended Warranty the lady that sold us that said if we had any problems with the camper bring it back and it would be fixed no questions asked so I have tryed to talk to them there and it like the extended warranty never covers the problem this is crap the camper is only 3 yrs old been used 4 maybe 5 times the paint has faded so bad it looks horrible decals falling off glue is coming out of the windows cabinets are peeling panel is coming off the wall and they say now warranty does not cover it why can't they stand behind there products we could have bought a camper anywhere but camping world was our choice and look where it got us no where they just lied to us all the way thru this process all I get now is no it don't cover this is crap

Maria in the financial department of the tyler camping world was committing financial FRAUD yesterday. She was blatantly LYING to the banks reporting to them false dates of a bankruptcy I had on my credit report. She was reporting the bankruptcy as this year to the banks when it was November 2018. Then she LIED again denying she said this year when MULTIPLE witnesses heard her say this year. Then she LIED again saying it got discharged in 2019 when in fact it got discharged in 2018. She has also LIED to banks about other customers. Then Crystal was LYING and committing FRAUD by telling the banks i lived in Philadelphia which I NEVER did & still don't. I live in an entirely different city & state. And the woman at the front desk who takes the calls was NOT giving all the messages to the finance or sales department or managers. This place commits a LOT OF FRAUD

Purchased fifth wheel on 5/17/22 and have yet to bring it home on 8/8/22. Totally disgusted with sales to service manager teams. Contact HQ to complain. No callback. Nobody cares about Quality of Customer Service here. POOR! POOR! BUT my warranty $$ coming out every month.

Trouble business.

Poor quality service and personal and business skills. Who is the dumbass who owns this $#*! show company. No customer service, no skill personal who knows there product. All stores can't tell you what they are selling. Rude $#*! $#*! and the corporate owner is a bigger dumbass then the people who work in this circus $#*! place. Will not do any business with this $#*!ing losers.

Bad service

Well here I go again the service was the worst they kept my RV longer on the lot. Waiting for a propane regulator 3 years. I was very surprised when some one called from the complaint department and offered to make good on a really bad experience. Funny thing they never followed through. My advice stay away.

Bad service

Bought camper and they didn't tell us that there was a recall on the axles. We found out when we took it in for something else. We weren't call when the work was done, and this is the case every time we took it in. Water was in the holding tank that didn't have a release valve and we only found out when it was punctured on the highways by a semi tire and we were losing water that we didn't know we were hauling. Took it in to have fixed and when we received it back had water in the tank again, this time the dealer left the water in the tank. The rep didn't get a part order in January for th accident and called on a Friday that the part was in- called in July that it was in. Small part to replace and two weeks later that still haven't called to let use know that it is done. Each time we have taken it in we have to call them to see if the work is complete- apparently they don't have a tickler system for any repairs that are being done or if you or they have the camper. I have heard that other camping worlds are AS BAD! This is the one in Dover Florida.

Billy Rye was my sales rep. He doesn't follow through with his promises.
I purchased a 5th wheel from camping world on July 19th. I took it out for the first time on July 28th. When I was done using it and went to close the slide out, it tore the new floor in my kitchen. I found out why it did it. The floor in the slide out was rotten. And damaging the kitchen floor. I have been calling to get the issue resolved. To no avail, no one will return my calls. They know I bought a 22k dollar piece of trash and they don't care. My advice to anyone looking for a trailer, STAY AWAY from CAMPING WORLD. You WILL be a lot happier..

If you are okay with your RV being in worse condition than when you took it in to be repaired, I challenge you to take your RV to Idaho Falls ID Camping World! They had our RV for over 7 weeks. No repairs were done, but they did rip out a box we had built in the storage under the RV to keep the mice out. Well, they mice did find their way in because they removed the barrier built to keep them out. We asked the service manager if he would make sure to empty the black tank, he promised they would and then did not empty it. The RV sat in their lot for over 7 weeks without being emptied. They removed vents from the bedroom air conditioner and left them on the bed. No repairs were done, damage occurred due to them ripping out the box built to keep mice out, and the RV was stinky because the black tank was not emptied as promised. Oh, and don't expect to receive return phone calls either. In the first 5 weeks, not one phone call ever got returned. I blame management for all of this! And after all of this, they will charge you to find diagnose obvious repairs and not share the diagnostic with you. So, expect to pay them for nothing in return. Corporate did finally give us a refund of the $318 they charged us for the diagnostic. But the Service Manager at Idaho Falls Camping World failed in every aspect!

First walked in and salesman complained they just sat down. Finally took me to look at a few campers. Showed me the one I wanted to see after ones I didn't care to see. Lucky I really liked that camper cause I would've went elsewhere with the service. After I bought it and was up to pick it up we couldn't find the camper. We found our original salesman and she was looking for it also to try selling it to another customer. They only had 1 of that style so I said something. She shrugged it off like nothing. We eventually found it in detailing. The guy that gave us the walk through of the camper and the financial guy were grade A though. The salesman department needs some fine tuning.

I ordered 8 things and 6 things were out of stock! They just said they were back ordered and to expect them later. Well they never came and then the customer service told me they will not be getting any more in. I just don't understand. If you have 2 in stock- only put 2 available. It seems really simple to me. But this will be my first and last time ordering from this Sh**hole company! Total waste of my time and I'm still trying to get a refund!

I ordered 2 sofas, 2 recliners and 2 sets of legs to install the sofas for my rear-engine Class A pusher. I spent $3200 for the furniture, shipping and expedited 2 day shipping. All items were "in stock".
Next day I get an email that the legs for the sofas were "on 2 week backorder". How the hell do you install sofas without legs? (Like buying a new car and find out that the seats are on back order) Mind you they did not bother/offer to refund the $189 I paid for "expedited shipping 2 day ". I had to DEMAND THE REFUND.
I call Camping World Customer Service. After 15 minutes on hold for "questions on my order", I call them on the other line at my office but this time I punch "#1 to place an order". Wonders of wonders, I IMMEDIATELY had a representative (I left the other line on hold to see how long it would take for them to pickup up----30 mins if you have a question on order status but immediate response if you want to order something) The representative refunds my $189 expedited order and tells me the legs will be here "in a few days". She tells me the furniture should "arrive in a few days". I told her "I paid for expedited shipping". Her response is that "expedited shipping" only applies to certain items. I told her that they did not explain that in the order when they charged me $189 extra. She said that Camping World knew all about this and this was a problem that Camping World knew about, that the Customer Service Representatives keep bringing it up to Management and Management never does anything to correct the problem. Finally she takes my info and is going to have a Supervisor call me in the morning. So I hang up and finally the other Camping World representative picks up after I had been on hold for 30 minutes. I asked her why I spent 30 minutes on hold. She said, "its been so super busy here". I told her that was a lie. I had called in and pushed the prompt to place an order and it was picked up immediately. I told her she was lying to me and I wanted to talk to her Supervisor. She hung up on me.

We bought a camper about 2 months ago it has on and off issues since then we have contacted the place about it and they were supposed to get back with us and did not. We finally got ahold of them and they told us that there's nothing they can do about it that we have to find someone that has a lift to check it out. We have warranties we were totally bought it that they would take care of everything but looks like it's we're on our own. Poor service

I have never been treated so badly by a company.
4 months ago I owned a perfectly good camper with some hail damage.
Now because of the shoddy work done by Sean the service manager and the negligence of Jeff the store manager, my camper is now a total loss.
Now it is still summer and there will not be any quality camping family time because of this store.
They don't care about their customers!
Nope, they just washed their hands.
Do yourself a favor. Take your business somewhere else!

Paid 30k for a camper after 1 month it had a bad battery they treated me and my father like we were idiots! Save yourself the TROUBLE and buy your camper somewhere else!

Went camping March 27th in North Carolina, tried opening slide didn't work properly!
Called camping world April 10th to explain problem.
Have extended warranty on 2021 camper!
They gave me their first available appointment to bring it to get looked at, May 27th!
On July 8th I got a call that they finally got to check out the camper!
On July 11th got a call telling me that they should have the parts in 2-3 weeks!
Maybe I'll get in back by August? I hope!
What a waste of time! Terrible service!
Buy elsewhere!

My day started out good I was very excited because I was buying a camper today. I contacted camper world earlier this week looking for a specific camper, the girl I talked to told me they had just what I was looking for (Katrina Conant) so we made the appointment. After driving almost an hour with my wife and grand son with me who were also very excited we get to camper world and we're told that they didn't have what I was told that they did. So the salesman tried to up sell me I told him I was pissed and that I was leaving and all he did was say have a nice day. Thanks camper world for ruining our day thanks for nothing.

But Furrion 14.5 air conditioner with a control box the thermostat was defective and can't get any help from Camping world or the manufacturer. All talk and no resolution. It's just a little cheap thermostat. That we are forced to live in our motorhome with only one AC that's struggling here at 110°, been trying to get this resolved for several weeks.

What a joke. Don't waste your money here. Go to a family owned rv business where the customer is still priority #1. They can't resolve issues or even communicate between staff. The only thing they care about is making money any way they can.
