The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation, with customers frequently expressing frustration over prolonged service delays, inadequate repairs, and poor customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with product quality and the perceived lack of accountability from the company, particularly regarding warranty claims and post-purchase service. While a few customers noted positive interactions with individual staff members, these instances are overshadowed by widespread dissatisfaction with sales tactics and unresolved complaints. Overall, the feedback indicates a critical need for improved customer service practices and greater transparency in product quality and repair processes.

Ordered a pair of replacement fluorescent RV lights a month ago. Was charged immediately and have not received the merchandise. Their customer service and help lines both ring and ring then go to busy signal.
I've bought a RV at the end of March 2022, since then it always has been a nightmare due to all issues it has. Administrators, Financial and Sell Departments never talk to me nor return a call. I do have pictures to show up.
We bought a new camper in Febuary, We have had one problem after another with the service department. We had quite a few problems with our unit and everytime we had to bring it in it was a horrible experience. They offer nothing but excuses and promise you the world. They brought in a manager from a different Camping World who was supposed to fix all the problems and she was no better! A couple of examples...The decal was torn when we first got the unit and they were supposed to replace it, took forever to come in then when we were told it was replaced we realized that instead of replacing the decal they put a piece of black electrical tape over the torn spot. The shade was put in wrong over the dinette so they had to fix it, when they fixed it, they put three good sized holes in the leather on the back of the dinette. It took until October for them to replace that rail. There was a leak under the sink that damaged all the wood panels in the front of the sink and drawers, they ordered the wrong part twice, first the wrong color then the wrong size! Again, this did not get fixed until October. I contacted the CEO's office and towards the end, the only way I could get the manager to respond to me was by CC'ing my CEO contact. This experience, which should have been a very happy time for us, was an absolute nightmare. I will coclude by saying I rarely write reviews but I hate to see anyone go through what we experienced!
I bought a lemon as well. I have found several issues and I'm sure their are issues I have not figured out yet.
I met another customer at the service desk…has a lot of issues with his rv. I asked the service manager about the issues we are having and asked if this is common. That person said 100% of RVs have been sold intentionally broken. I looked at the customer next to me and asked if heard correctly…he said yep, you sure did.
I would love to hear from everyone having issues. Feel free to call me so we can get this handled with everyone together.

Purchased a new Keystone 5th wheel from camping world in October 2021. First shakedown cruise revealed the regrigerator was not working as required. Returned to dealer and explained the freezer works fairly well but the refrigerator compartment does not keep below 45 degrees; this even though the outside temperature was in the 50s in the northwest. They kept the trailer for a few weeks and explained they fixed it. We took trailer on another short trip and had the same issues with the refrigerator. Returned to dealer for a few weeks and they fixed it again. Did not fix!
We subsequently traveled with the trailer for 90 days through the southwest in hot temperatures and freezing temperatures. The refer stayed around 45 degrees when the ambient temp was in 40s and below. In Death Valley the refer failed to even attain 45 degrees. We had to purchase an expensive ice chest and live out of that for the duration of the trip.
Returning to Seattle we returned the trailer to camping world and told them the problem still persists. They kept it and tested it, replaced this and that, and said it works fine now. We took it home and tested it in driveway and it did not work. Returned to camping world and pleaded to repair or replace. They kept it another month and "fixed" it again. The same result.
This has gone on for one year now. Every test has failed but camping world will not honor the warranty to repair or replace. Now we have been told that camping world is turning the problem over to keystone (trailer mfr) and Norcold (refer mfr) to decide who pays. In the meantime we have no working refrigerator.
Camping world says they guarantee repairs for the first year of ownership, except when they have to actually replace something, then it is someone else's responsibility. So we wait for this to settle out. We will be living out of an ice chest for the foreseeable future on our trips. Thank you camping world for absolutely nothing. No integrity, honesty or help.
Bad business, liers! One year after purchasing camper at Kaysville utah! Did not inspect it! Not added my down payment wrong sale price...no lights young jack did not work! Drove in dark,no lights! Papper work all messed up! Still fighting with them about this! Liers! Cheats! Never again! They never call back! No help from them! I am taking them to court! A year of hell!
We purchased an RV from the Grand Rapids Location on April 22. When we went to pick up the RV it wasn't ready. There were two items that still needed to be repaired: the replacement of the awning fabric and a replacement of the switch panel in the RV. After waiting until Mid May we finally picked up the RV with the repairs delayed until the Fall. Seven months later we dropped off the RV in October to get the last two things repaired. Now after 4 weeks in the service dept. they winterized it, but still haven't repaired the original two items. I've spoken to the store manager and contacted the corporate office. Needless to say, we will not be servicing our 2017 RV at this location in the future.
They take the money instantly. After that communication breaks down. No confirming email is sent for order. No tracking information provided. My order was 'ship to store'. Store has no information about an order corporate is obligated to send to them and for which the store will be resposible for. Customer service at Corporate totally fails. Still waiting.
We have a camper purchased at the Myrtle Beach Camping World 3 years ago with a full warranty. We have multiple cracks in our frame and it's been determined it's due to faulty steel. Camping World WILL NOT help us! At first they wouldn't even talk to us about trading out of it. Now their help is making any camper we choose $40-$42K! I'm talking USED campers here people! We are at our wits end! I've contacted corporate multiple times to no avail. I've talked with Jason Shipley who is supposed to be the "right-hand man" of Marcus Lemonis--NOTHING. We owe $16K on a camper that is useless. Camping World won't allow us to remove the unit from their lot because it's too dangerous. What are we supposed to do? We're willing to put some money down on another unit, but we need to be at a certain $ amount to be able to make the deal. The General Manager in Myrtle Beach says he wants to help us but he isn't--not at $40 for a used camper! They sponsor NASCAR and lose money each week doing that, but they aren't willing to lose money on a deal to help us into another camper. THAT IS NOT CHRISTIAN NOR DOES IT SHOW COMPASSION--WHICH IS ALL MARCUS TALKS ABOUT IN HIS ADS. WHERE'S THE LOVE MARCUS? Look at the pictures--beautiful inside & out but a horrible frame. Just sad that no one at Camping World cares what we're going through.
Brad Bahret was very professional in helping me look for a used camper. Made looking for a camper less stressful.

We purchased a used RV from Camping World in Longmont Co in February 25 2022. The RV is a 2015. When we were in the process of picking it up, we went over the extended contract (were told it would cover anything we found wrong with the RV) and over the RV. We were told the roof is in good shape and if we found other things while using it to write them down. Now we are about 10,000 in needed repairs to the RV and no one wants to cover them. The roof needs to be resealed and Longmont won't pay for it, because they can't find any paper work if it was sealed before we left with the trailer. Which we were told that all used RV have the roofs sealed and wheel bearing done before the RV is sold. The floor needs to be replace because of the soft spots not due to water damage. These were noted in the walk thru with the RV and were told that the extended warranty will cover it. Nope will not. There are several other things that we were told the warranty will cover... like the heated beds, the back panel on the RV (it's a hybrid) etc. We are continually getting the run around from the repair place in Golden, CO. We are told one thing and the next time we are told something else. The lies and the total BS is unreal. The sales team is a shame. They just want the sale and could care less about anything else.
Buying from a store has been an accpetable experience. Not great, but acceptable.
Buying online and getting online help frankly just stinks. Apparently their "agent" is computer AI which leaves out the "I" in AI.
Repeatedly I have asked about products, or asked for technical support for products already purchased and get nothing.
Made the mistake of contacting them before reading reviews--big mistake. Don't deal with Dilip whatever you do, and I would take a hard pass on this Camping World altogether.
We were interested in a Jayco North Point 377RLBH they had listed for $81,999 and they setup a virtual tool for us. Afterwards the salesman was telling me to make an offer if I liked it. I did, with our paid-off trade (we also bought from Camping World), then they came back with a price sheet listing the RV for $96,999. The salesman was off the next day and I got a follow-up from Tori who seemed very nice and said she saw the RV on their lot priced at 81,999. I said I was interested in that one, but the price sheet I got was for a lot higher price. I attached the price sheet to the text thread at that point and she said at that point she'd get with Dilip and have him reach out to me.
Then he reached out today and said they have other units available. Not sure if we're being discriminated against (my wife is black and we did have video on for the tour), or if there is something else deceptive going on, but these types of bait-and-switch tactics is something I usually see from shady used car dealers or backwater RV lots selling used RVs.
Thanks for your time reading this. I hope other customers don't run into this same issue, as I usually have a great experience from Camping World and this isn't the norm for me. Have bought two RVs from other locations and have dealt with a number of Camping Worlds, and this has been by far the worst experience I've encountered.
Worst experience ever. They sold me a unit with the wrong size airconditioner. It was way to small and could not cool the unit under 80 degrees when it was 88 outside in an insulated all seasons camper. Instead of unwinding the transaction when the paperwork was not even turned into the bank, they wanted me to buy it so they can get the end of month sale, pay taxes, tags, and then trade it in at a loss and get them another sale. Of course I refused after behind highly offended that they hurt me and wanted to hurt me more with a larger loss to make them more money instead of fixing their mistake. It has been 2 months and I have made several attempts to the highest level store managers to get the rest of the keys so that I can access the important back door where I need to store my work ladders and could not use the camper for those two months. I owe 2 months of payments and could not use it for the intended use and I still do not have keys 61 days later. They have not even called back in 6 days since the last call where I was assured someone would remedy it. I have not even been called with a plan. They also charged me $1000 for a weight distribution system and never adjusted it correctly on the install to be safe and level and let me drive out that way. I had to have it adjusted at another service center. They charged about $1,400 to install a braking system control and never hooked it to the camper to calibrate as I expected and insisted after $1,400. It was not set to a safe setting when I drove off. I asked them to have their self proclaimed experts to look up my truck and they had the exact year, make, model, engine size etc to make sure it could pull my camper. They said they checked and it could to get the sale. It almost overheated in 80% weather 20 minutes on the road on the way home. Future inquires told me they should have never said that and I believe they never looked it up and did not care, they just wanted a sale. I had to buy another truck to pull it because of course they would not take it back. Worst experience ever.
I bought a camper from Camping world in Myrtle Beach SC this past summer (2022). We took it camping for the first time in July and had numerous issues with it. The siding came off the side, the hinge on the front door popped off, the lock on the storge just turns with your hand, the rivets in the steps came off, the travel light not sealed, the bathtub not sealed, the shower head leaks, the kitchen drawer would not shut due to a wood block behind it, and the slide out when closed and supposedly sealed you could see outside at both sides bottom corners. We called Goodsams and took our camper to have it repaired under the warranty 7/19/22 It was there about a month and we had not heard anything. We went by to check on it and they told us they had put in a for warranty approval with the manufacturer (camper is Pioneer Heartland toy hauler). Camping world told us itwas the manufacturer holding things up. Called the manufacturer before leaving Camping World. Manufacturer had nothing on file for us. I went back inside Camping World to confront the young lady who had just told me a bold face lie. She would not come out and speak with us. A manager came out and said he would do it right now and did not understand why the girl lied. So at this time I called the corporate office Goodsam. They assign a person to my case. I get calls every now and then usually only after I call them. I have asked for someone higher up but never get a call back. So now 2 months have went by and they have fixed only a few of the items. Things they could have completed without waiting on parts where not even fixed. They they tell us parts will be in mid Sept we get a call not in... then it will be 1st week of Oct. I call to check on it and they said it should be ready by Oct 14,2022. No call or contact from them at all. I call today again ask for a manager, I do not get one. The girl answering the phone says she can only leave messages. Still no camper 10/24/22
I bought a brand new 2021 Keystone Springdale fifth wheel in June of 2021. The fridge leaked the microwave would not open, the bed was slanted, and doors and drawers would not stay closed. Couldn't get me in til Oct and then had it u til March. Did not winterize and it busted hoses everywhere. Put a huge gash in floor. We took it back for them to fix. Go pick it up to go to Florida. Turn on shower and water flys everywhere. Landing gear won't work and still having issues with problems they haven't fixed from first service appointment.
I took my Trailer to Camping World, Roseville Ca. To have the siding replaced, Factory Authorized Repair, When we went to pick up the trailer we notice several scratches and dents. Worst then what we dropped it off. Camping World basically said that is how we received them from the factory and I would need to go thru the MFG to get it repaired. They said they can not touch it up because you will still see the defects. I took it to a RV repair shop down the street and they said they could but it will be expensive. Over 6k. Unbelieve how we were treated and how Camping World blamed others for their work. If that is the way they received them, why did not they tell me about them when we went to pick it up? Or why wouldn't they tell me ahead of time that panel may come in with defects? Or why wouldn't they asked me if I would like scratches and dents or keep the old ones? Or why wouldn't they send the damage panels back and get some that are not? What a lazy unprofessional outfit. I will now longer do business with Camping World. Or Good Sams!

Ruined our fridge and facia and, two years later, despite numerous open cases, nothing has been done.
Avoid the Hollins, VA location at all costs.
Called Camping World Liberty Lake (Spokane Valley) and asked if they hook up tow vehicles. Of course they do. Told them I have the gear, just need to know if it will work with my car/motorhome. I was told TWICE... come in after tuesday's and the guy who oversee's that will look at my gear and tell me if it will work or if I need to buy new parts... just wanted to know before bringing all in. Got there today AFTER CALLING AGAIN an hour before driving out there. Sure, the fella in parts told me, he was on today, come on out. When I did (30 minute drive for me) was told by tatted lady in service "we don't have walk ins. You have to schedule appointment and we are booked out until mid November. No way, no good. Even if i wait in the showroom for a couple of hours? NO. Camping world sucks in my opinion and they will never see another dollar from me. And when my "good sam" card expires, I will be able to sever all ties to them. And this is what good service looks like? Ha Ha Ha.
I was charged a $5,000 dealer prep fee at the Camping Worrld - Rochester MN.
When I picked it up my Tiffin motorhome, the windshield wipers had a foot of rubber hanging down, the driver's side window didn't work, the blackout screen control did not work, the stabilizers did not return to their stored position, and the outside light did not work.
I asked for a breakdown of what I received for the $5,000 dealer prep fee. They said they could not provide that. I reached out to the complaint dept at Camping World and after two months they also said they could not provide that info.
To say the least, I am very unhappy with my experience with the Camping World in Rochester MN and the complaint dept at Camping World.
Answer: Honestly, the more I look to find answers on Camping world, the more negative reviews I see, had an RV dropped off a Forklift while I was signing papers! Try to beat that! New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth! It's one thing for accidents to happen, it's another to not make things right, bad management!
Answer: Yes I have emails to show. That I have been promised a refund waiting this line I expect a full refund and the run around is with it. If would like I can forwarded you the emails and you can ask where's my check.
Answer: Terrible - didn't seem to care and basically told me I was on my own
Answer: The people at camping world will tell you that they will call you. BULL! They never called me, so I tried calling them FIVE times! Not one return call. Not very reputable!
Answer: Just keep writing letters to all of the local politicians.
