A friend of mine who lives in Canada purchased a gift from Cafe Press for my birthday and had it shipped to me in the greatest country on earth - the USA. The item was promptly delivered in perfect condition. My friend was a bit off on the size so I inquired about an exchange with customer support. The service was outstanding. They quickly made everything right at no extra charge. I can't say enough good things about this online purchase experience!
I ordered three hats with different sayings on them. Too high above the brim putting the words on the top of my head. I'm tall, nobody can see it. On one, the colors are so faded it is unreadable looking straight at it. The words are all are so small they would be unreadable even if correctly placed. Hat very small with an adjustable strap so it is wearable but fits poorly. I recommend that you do not buy hats from Cafepress. They shipped promptly so the disappointment came quickly.
I like this company & had no problems with anything! Not customer service, shipping, or quality! I recommend them, and WILL use them again!
Update: the marketer responded quickly, but the solution didn't leave me warm and fuzzy. The simply don't have the ability to pump up the graphics, although they took a shot at it. For that reason, I'm leaving the review at 4 stars: three stars for quality, one star for the fast reply.
I may return and add stars depending on how Cafe Press handles my inquiry. I ordered a baseball cap with a custom logo. The cap that arrived is made of very nice fabric, and construction appears good. The artwork is not representation of "custom" quality, however. I'm happy to pay a premium price for a premium item, but what I received doesn't reach the level of premium as the logo is not bright at all, is a bit too small and the anchor is completely washed out. Leaves me to wonder if there's a quality control person at the end of the process? In the image below, the cap on the left is what one sees on the website, the cap on the right is what I received. The colors are all washed out. Probably trying to save on the ink budget... the white cap demonstrates how the colors can pop - and should pop, even in a beige cap. I've challenged the company to build me a better cap, - we'll see how they do.
Ordered a coffee cup and they painted over my picture. Customer service couldn't see the problem. Would you pay almost $30 for this cup? UPDATE: The company contacted me and sent me a replacement free of charge and told me to keep the original. With that I have to increase my rating and thank them.
Had some issues with sizing and prints for some gifts so I called them up. They are happily sending me replacements at no charge and I don't need to return the originals. They made it super easy and simple! I will definiteley use them again!
I regularly upload my designs to cafepress, and have made at least three...? Maybe four orders from them, and have yet to encounter anything disastrous. Every time I ordered from them (I chose the cheapest shipping available), my products arrived before the estimated delivery time.
Between all my orders, I have purchased three shirts. Each one was of good quality. The fabric was nice and thick, and the colors of my designs ran true to what they were supposed to look like. I also purchased a mouse pad with one of my drawings on it, and it looked beautiful! The colors were all accurate and the mouse pad was of high quality. I also purchased a notebook to sketch in, and the paper was nice, thick, and smooth. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the page dimensions were a little weird and it was kind of narrow for what I'm used to sketching in. Nonetheless, I still filled the entire thing. The other product I have purchased from cafepress are mini buttons. These, I do take some issue with. The pin on the back of the buttons was poorly constructed in such a manner that they often fell of of my school lanyard. I have bought four or five mini buttons (four, I think), and two of them had the plastic cover not all the way sealed by the metal back. From the pictures on their website, you can tell that the larger buttons have a different back and have the standard pin, so it seems that the quality problem (at least with the pin part) is only with the mini buttons, so I don't recommend buying those.
As a designer on their website, I find the variety of products a bit lacking compared to sites like Zazzle, but their design interface for putting my designs on products is the most efficient one I have come across.
My husband received a fathers day mug from our son, it came damaged. I called the customer service number I found on this site and they were very helpful. They said they would be sending us a new one. Now, I just did this so obviously haven't received it yet. Trusting in their word, while writing this. :)

I use CafePress, both as a customer and as a seller. For sellers, it is a great way to make some extra cash selling your designs and concepts, and it is fun to share our creativity with the world! As a buyer, there are so many unique items and designs available, on so many products! There are occasional quality issues, but their customer service has always been great, and whenever there has been an issue with an item, they are quick to send out a replacement at their expense. I highly recommend!

Just found cafepress and am so IMPRESSED with the huge selection of t's in hard to find topics. My example - one kid plays the tuba/sousaphone in band/marching band and you can find a million t's for the trumpet, piano or violin. A 'tuba' search got me a 2000+ item hit on cafepress. Then found another 1000+ for my writer kid!

Good quality cotton - accurate descriptions and sizing. Would recommend. Here are two reasons why you lost a star 1) would like web site filters to include size to speed up the browsing and 2) t shirts arrived with a lack of presentation and mine were purchased as a gift xx
Although delivery was very timely and I had my order in plenty of time for my husbands birthday - I ordered three t's with imprints. They are by far the worst quality I have seen next to the buy 3 for $10 style in the cheap souvenir shops. The print is not centered on one shirt and feathered on the other. The thickness and quality of the shirt is terrible... cheap cheap cheap. I have tried contacting them and all I can get is a auto email response. I am terribly disappointed for what I paid!
As of today (1/8/2014) I need to put my review on hold and update at a later date. I have finally received a response from Café Press and they are sending replacements at no cost. They apologized and said they didn't want the others back and would be sending new ones, which I should receive no later that the 20th of this month. Update to come.
I have updated Café Press's status to a four star. I am very impressed with how they came through and sent new shirts. They replaced all three of them and they are all of great quality and look fantastic. 1/23/2014
Ordered decals for automobile, was sent wrong color, all Cafepress "customer Relations" did was defend the product and blame my ordering... No attempt to make it right or even offer any help except suggest I order more things. Very disappointed and will be my last time ordering from them. LATER UPDATE -- Apparently a supervisor at cafePress pursued me insisting on satisfying me and my experience was TOTALLY DIFFERENT and I am totally satisfied with them now and I think they have won me over as a long term customer. I am changing my review to 4 starts--though the supervisor should get five stars!
Everything I have ordered from CafePress has arrived on time and has met my expectations. My niece who owns her own bakery absolutely loved the aprons I custom ordered with the name of her bakery on them!
I want to tell people that the CUSTOMER SERVICE at cafe press is wonderful! They stand by everything, and are prompt to reply to you, and prompt to make it right. I have bought from them many times.
The only note i would put here is be very careful of your sizing you order... every time i order from them, the women's tshirts are way too small, despite the description they have on their site.
But they DO help you in these instances.

Long time customer, have always been happy with products/customer service, my last order I was not happy with, the clock I ordered was in bad shape. Paint inside line of clock, and didn't work! And apron was wrong color. I will be shopping with you again, for past 10 years that was my only problems, I wasn't happy, but as I said, after 10 years, I will continue to shop, I do like your company/products.
