I Love all the Cabela stores and often will make stopping at one of them part of our travels around the country. They have a great shopping experience and there are some good deals to be had. I like to buy online but sometimes you need to touch and feel the products or try them on, and having a wide variety in one place makes it our go to. The clothing is better now that Bass Pro purchased them. Overall we like Cabelas very much
BUYER BEWARE - I purchased a brand new Kimber from Cabela and paid full price. The firearm would not fire straight out of the box! Now I am shipping it to Kimber for a fix. Cabela said they could not exchange due to it being a firearm. They later admitted that is a Cabela policy. They could exchange but CHOOSE not to. So in essence, we paid full price for a gun that will have to be repaired and there is no recourse. I will NEVER purchase another firearm from Cabela. If you purchase a firearm here, know their policy is just a Cabela thing. Some gun shops stand behind what they sell, this one doesn't!

Staff was very helpful. Bought a new shotgun and was helped by Robert and Jeff. Make sure you have them do an assembly inspection before purchase.

I buy things in the store for winter jackets for children and myself, and warm jeans. Thank Service Support, they helped me to make a payment. As a prepay card as usual failed. Less store for difficulties with payment, the availability of generally large size and range of products primarily under its logo
Their prices are a bit higher than preferred, but their selection of used firearms of quality are found in the "gun library"... only the top used firearms make it into the library and that is where you will find the best - they even have a smith who will repair any flaws AFTER the purchase (if there are any)!
Last Winter I made a purchase and took your Capital One credit card deal. Some how my wife missed a payment and we were fined like $25! So my wife gave them the routing number to our bank to prevent another fine. The next statement came with another fine! My wife called and the person said the routing number was no good. We use that auto pay setup for our common monthly bills and it works! We have 2 banks so we gave the person the numbers for our other bank and the next statement came and we were fined again. Hey a great way to make a few extra bucks for them! Last month another fine so I called them for my total bill to date, went to the bank and got cash and drove out to Bass Pro Gurnee, IL and we're done and ticked. Could not find a sole at Bass Pro to hear my story! Looking for my 4th pair of Rimrock boots from Cabela's and went into the net to read the reviews. Saw a lot of poor/bad reviews so sent a note and never received a reply. Those boots were absolutely bulletproof -- had 3 pair and not a single complaint. I kindly asked if they were looking into the quality problem -- NO RESPONSE! What's the story? Jon Mullaney
Good company with great products, safe to deal with and honor there word always, warranties are superb.
Cabelas has hunting, fishing, boating, and camping equipment. They also have equipment for Atv driving. They have outdoor clothing and shoes. They have many great deals. I have purchased camping equipment and hiking boots from this site, and I was very happy with my purchase.
