Ordered a product on the 9th and it still has not been received. If you want a product for a product, drive to a store to get it. They use shippers that are not used in your area. IKEA has the same product and it would have benefited me to drive to Denver and picked it up myself.

I recently purchased 2 outdoor lights. The boxes arrived in acceptable time, but one box was visibly damaged. I have ordered several times from Build and have never had a problem. This last time I ordered some door hardware but had some questions about them before I placed the order. Spoke to Sarah who was able to locate everything I needed. She made a couple of suggestions, one I took and one I didn't. In the end I was able to place an order for everything I needed. It came in two different shipments quicker than expected. I will order from Build again... and again... and probably again.
I order Kohler shower set, missing flange in box, August 1. Keep emailing that it is back order, here is September have not receive it. I fin call call Kohler myself they were in stock sent out in 3 days. They were using the wrong order number never again. They gave me all these excuses.
I ordered a sconce as a replacement for one which had vanished. The missing sconce turned up the day before the new one arrived. We spoke with the Build.com folks and they were 100% cooperative; emailed & mailed a return label and gave us a refund within 3 days of their receipt of package.
We will choose them for our next purchase.
I was ordering complete shower sets for 3 bathrooms in a new home. Henry Vassar was my sales contact and he was excellent. He knew his products, made suggestions that were spot-on, in some cases saving me money. Because I wanted to think through the purchase he left everything in my basket and changed it when asked. I think we spent 2 weeks on the process. Becasue the home in being built in Mexico he even tried to find manuals in Spanish. I would highly recommend Build.com and Henry
Everything was great and no issues. Package was early and in perfect shape, no damage. Product received as shown and described, works perfect. I would shop here again and will in the futute.

They used a shipper that doesn't ship residential. What? After my shipment sat at their warehouse for a week, I found out that they were going to hire a subcontracted shipper to deliver it. After getting no firm delivery date, I had to go get it myself. Just goes to show the best price isn't the best deal! Should have paid more and bought it locally.

Ordered a microwave from build.com and the microwave we received was NOT what we got. Called the same day we got the order and asked for a return label. Two weeks and multiple calls later, they finally emailed me a return label. Then another two weeks to get a refund issued back to my credit card, and that is after I called asking about my refund! (And today is 9-17-18 and I still have not got my refund back on my card!)
I will not be ordering from this company again and I will not refer them to anyone else!

Run, run away! I ordered 42 items including door knobs, hinges, and handles for my new home. All were in stock with 75 to 150 of each item available and ready to ship. As soon as I paid and placed my order, EVERY SINGLE ITEM was back ordered from two weeks to over a month. I emailed or talked to customer service 4 to 6 times and then contacted the president. It was all a big run around with lots of excuses. I'm pretty sure Build.com doesn't have the items in stock. They order what you need from someone else and then wait for it to come in, to ship to you.
I needed to find a full set of kitchen handles for a remodel of my kitchen, and guess which online site have the best price and wonderful selection... Build.com did.:)

Build.com has fair prices and easy available chat services but awful customer service. After first contacting them, I was told I would get an email with an answer in a few hours and never did. I tried to contact the person who I chatted with, with the email he sent me and got no response. I then had issues with the shipping and was told there was nothing they could do, when generally this is something I have done many times in the past. They made no attempt to help or assist, just said sorry and to return it. I would not bother to ship with them.
This place is the worst, they won't return a simple bag of unnecessary hardware for $23.00 that the salesman said I needed but didn't. SHOP ELSEWHERE! They lost my business on future projects.

I purchased $630 worth of tile and other building materials on August 10 from Build.com only to be told after a week that they could not provide the items and would refund my $630 to no avail. It is now August 28 and the money still has not been returned with numerous excuses. I should have checked the reviews first. In my opinion these people are crooks. Why are they selling stuff and taking your money and not have the product(s) to sell?

Ordered drawer/cabinet pulls from Build.com. Called CS first to ask some questions. Polite, professional, knowledgeable reps. Questions answered quickly in easy to understand way. Easy to navigate website, easy order placement, very reasonable prices compared to local vendors and other online sites. Fast, well packaged delivery. TOTAL SATISFACTION. Recommended to my builder and he now has his new 'go-to' for all things cabinetry.
Cheap Chinese Products- false advertisment. Product didnt look anything like picture. Make sure you read description again and again carefully. Order a shower door that took a week to arrive and looked nothing like picture and was the wrong product. Called in to return the product. They deducted 100 dollars for shipping and charged me another 80 dollars for restocking fee. You are better of ordering product from homedepot.com or Lowes.com.

Answer: I don't know how you can actually get them to answer the correct lead time. I received an estimated ship date when I ordered an American Standard faucet. Then, they emailed me 3 more times with delays. I called them after the first delay, and while I was on the phone with the agent, she placed me on hold and called American Standard, and said they told her that there would be no more delays. After this last delay, I called to cancel the order. They said they would "request cancellation" from American Standard. The big problem is they charged my account IMMEDIATELY when I ordered the product, but won't refund the money until American Standard confirms the cancellation. The service agent i spoke with escalated to her supervisor, and the supervisor is the worst person I have ever encountered when dealing with customer service.
Answer: Sorry to hear that. What finish were you trying to match? Usually its best ti use the same brand name when trying to match a finish, such as a Moen faucet to match a Moen towel bar or towel ring. That is because everybody has their own technique of making their products. I wonder if the finish on your new American Standard faucet is doesn't match because the other item you're matching in not made by American Standard. You should be able to return it if it hasn't been installed in any way and you still have the original packaging.
