I've spent thousands on BudK, mainly military gifts for my units, battalions and special occasions, bought a mystery bag for my son for Christmas as I have always done, garbage, checking barcodes, all the knives were listed for $6.98 on the website. Reached out to BudK, no answer.

Sitting here with my cousin and his order of (4) bushmaster OTF knives was delivered. All (4) are gifts for family members and are identical. One knife is missing (2) screws and another knife is missing the blade. Shipping took (5) days. My cousin just got off the phone with BudK customer service and has to wait 3 days for a return shipping label then wait for them to receive the bad products they sent him and another 5 days to see if they send him what he originally ordered. All the while not offering him any compensation.
This company is a bad business!
Please take heed to this company before deciding to order from here.

Ordered $190.00 in knives. Then received email saying if I did not call customer service to confirm I ordered it, order will be cancelled. When a person orders something why do you have to go thru loop holes to get the product? Cancelled my order and took my business some where else. Ordered from different source get product in 3days.

Instead of following state and federal regulations. Budk thinks they can decide on their own and make their own regulations. I will never purchase anything from this company ever.

I ordered an expensive package and was unable to change my address. I have had not but smoke and mirrors with everyone passing the buck. I refuse to use them again for this reason. Smokey Mountian knives will be getting my business...They wont back thier delivery and tell me to contact ups, ups says contact budk,a vicious circle. Im out alot of money with no help from them

Ordered from them and they shipped to wrong address. Called customer service and was told I ordered online so they could not help me. Asked to talk to a supervisor and I was told no. The quality of their product is very low, but it was fun and cheap for a little while, but when they mess up and just say oh well you are out of luck. I will never buy from them again

One of the buckles has already broken so dont look for quality in BUDK products. I know they say you get what you pay for. But you'd expect a simple belt buckle to last more than a day

I had an issue on a possible double payment pending in my account for a recent purchase. During the chat the associate advised me to send a screenshot of my statement showing the double deduction. There was no account numbers present but my name and the name of the institution were there as well the last 3 transactions. The email they told me to send it to ended up having the wrong extension! This is what is called a secuirty breach. The email never came back as a failed email meaning someone ended up with that screen shot without my authorization. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they gave me the contact information for their manager who I called 2x and sent 1 email to follow up with a breach in my personal security at the hands of their employee. I never got 1 follow up from them. Needless to say they lost a customer. Sharing this to share how they apparently feel about their customers' legitimate concerns.

Buy from a competitor is my recommendation. They refused to fulfil my order because I was a new customer. So several days delayed later, when I found this out, I spoke to them on the phone, confirmed everything, and they processed my order, right? No, nearly 3 weeks passed and no items. I emailed their customer service, and they admitted that the person on the phone messed it all up, and I have to re-order (that way we can do this all over again!) Terrible. I have never had this experience in my life, and I buy a lot of stuff. There are other businesses who sell the same or similar items. I will choose them.

Tip for consumers:
Poor customer service. No customer care. Incompetent people, and the cause problems, never tell you, and YOU have to track down the problem. If you don't do your own inquiry, they will never tell you that you are not getting your items purchased.

I just received several items from BUDK. Both knives and a sword. The products are low quality. Actually they are crap. I spoke with customer service and was told they would give me a refund once they received the products. But because the items are not damaged, I have to pay return postage. The return postage is costing me $26.00. Can you say ouch? I'm going to buy from Amazon in the future.

With BudK, sometimes you get trash and sometimes you get gold. Normally, somewhere in between. I have gotten true gold, from BudK. Unfortunately, this time it was LOWER than trash. I'm almost ashamed to put this crap in the trash. Just in case a neighbor would see the items. However, in the past. I've actually gotten gold. Truly great deals. Worth the gamble.

I have been ordering items from BudK for many years now since my son loves knives and swords. On Christmas of this past year (2022) I ordered the knife of the month subscription. So far he has received four knives and he has loved every single one. The quality has been great, the styles have been cool, and so far, all have been knives that were of greater value than what the monthly cost is. In the past we have ordered numerous different items; swords, knives, display shelves, lots of survival items, etc. We have never been disappointed with our purchases.

Tip for consumers:
Don't go by the reviews. Everyone has different opinions....try it yourself and I think you'll be happy with your purchase.

This knife is too heavy for EDC, but it will find a space in my collection of folders. The ball-bearings provide smooth opening action. The knife closes easily. D2 tool steel is a good knife steel. The overall quality of the knife is good. The price is ok for a D2 folder with ball bearings. 4-Star knife.

Buy this knife on Amazon. Amazon has good customer protection policies. Don’t use Budk

Their smith clearly doesn't know the importance of cleaning metal and properly heat treating it. After just 2 uses on cheap 2x4 the hammer head broke off. You can see the rusted grain within the head where it tore clean off from. That's a very amateur move on their end. I'm a skinny guy and didn't even use half my strength.

Really know your metal work and how to judge a tool/weapon before buying

Bought the giant killer bowie and that thing is Pakistani junk! They claim full tang but it's spot welded at the handle. Super bad work! Tried reaching out to Budk but they are just ignoring my emails now. Don't buy it from them!

This company is trash i ordered a timber rattler knife for a gift even got the 2 shipping payed an Extra 30 dollars more it turns out is gonna be more like 4 days shipping i should've just ordered it from Amazon they promised me the same amount of days and free shipping, "People" never pay more for your order there a scam

Mais Budk a changé le couteau sans prevenir et à produit un bowie massif qui ne me plait pas et est assez moche.
Une poignée en plastique imitant un bois de cerf et la lame assez basique, pas du tout Ce que je voulais.
Le site internet montre un autre couteau. J'ai fais une capture d'écran.
Leur erreur est manifeste et ils ne veulent pas me rembourser intégralement.
Ils remboursent uniquement le couteau.
Assume ton erreur, tu es une grande boutique de couteau Mr Kadel!
89,99$ le couteau, 36,37$ de frais de port pour le Canada et 40,08$ de frais d importation.
Soit 166,44$!
Et en plus ils veulent que je le renvoie à mes frais! 36,37$ de plus!
Je reste de 72,74$ de ma poche et je me retrouve sans couteau?
Ils sont malins, il faut pas être débile pour comprendre que ça m'oblige à le garder, des bandits!
Ne commandez pas chez Budk, ils mentent, Je ne suis pas satisfait du tout et je vais en parler sur ma chaine YouTube pour que tout le monde soit au courant de leurs pratiques.

I ordered 3 items from BUDK. 2 arrived in a non descript shipping box. No problems there. However 1 item arrived in its original packaging and not a shipping box. This item was meant as a Christmas present and arrived at my house when the person who it was intended for was there. Not only did this completely ruined the surprise, but its also a very costly oversight. I brought this to the attention of BDUK's customer service team and the best they could do was an insincere apology. They weren't in the least bit interested in resolving the situation or making sure it wouldn't happen again. If you are planning buying any gifts for Christmas from here, I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere. Their prices can be matched almost anywhere and most companies I have shopped have better customer service.

1. The site was not working well to order and I was obliged to reiterate 3 times my command, then cancel one of them, etc...
2. The order was then messed up somewhere because I ordered 3 knives with different decoration patterns but Ireceived two of them which were the same...
3. The shipment (however free) took so long to come: about 3 weeks and I thought it will not be arrived by Christmas...

Very hard to get a order through with these guys. Even after spending hours emailing and taking with the agents, your order will still just sit. Then it gets canceled. All after confirming with them. Then they acknowledge they have dead codes. They acknowledge wasting your time. Will they offer to do anything about it? No. Even after my first order I realized how slow and hard it was so I paid for rush shipping. I paid for priority shipping and packing also. Did me no good. So I jumped through all the hoops. Got two emails telling me my order was confirmed. Spoke to agent that said she was noting my account and it was getting packed and shipped. Then days later the same agent just says so sorry we wasted your time. Bye.
Yeah I'm sorry you wasted my time too. Bye.

I ordered a knife on 6/15/22 and payed 25 dollars for 2nd day air. They refuse to refund me for shipping costs and I was hung up on by a customer service rep that was apparently having a bad day, at no point was I hostile or any bit angry. It's currently 6/21/22 and I just got a notification that the package was out for delivery. I would have accepted a discounted price for shipping I wasn't even expecting a full refund. I'm very reasonable and have never had anything bad to say about the company up until this point and it's saddening to know I have to find another company since I've been using them for goods for almost 10 years now.
