I like the fact Broad financial writes everything in detail on their website. If you have never been into investments, then I guess it's not a big deal with such a website and customer support. Moreover, you can pass a special quiz to choose the best plan for your needs. I like there are no asset based fees, traditional and roth IRAs are available on every of presented plans with checkbook control + transactions are completely free. You can even choose the bank which you wish. There are tons of pluses of using services of Broad financials. Don't hesitate, start building your future with these guys!
I lost all my life savings, this company are clearly not who they portray themselves to be, I lost everything I have ever hand and they kept giving me excuses telling me that they don't know how they lost my money, thanks to FIORDINTEL look them up on google they are the one who came for me and got back my losses
Although it took a day for someone to call me back, my questions were answered and the customer service representative was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great product!
I called with a question for Jeff as I was preparing to complete my binder before heading to my bank to open my account but was directed to another guy. Although he answered my question, I felt as though I was inconveniencing him. I know everyone has a bad day but I felt he was not enthusiastic as Jeff had been with me. Other than that Everything has gone as promised. Any questions my bank had for me was answered by my supplied folder. I went to transfer money from my IRA at my broker and was met with still more questions in which the supplied form supplied. He wasn't exactly happy with me but that was his problem. All in all a very painless transition. Looking forward to controlling my own growth thanks to Broad Financial!
I am old. Need lots of handholding assistance, advice and guidance with computer processes and how to do processes.
I had funding questions.....after reading over some of the specifics of the solo 401K......I now have question re: funding the trust account at the bank.......I'm still wating for a call back or contact regarding this from Jay or Eva. I'm sure once I get those questions answered, my rating will be a 4 or 5 star.
It's been good. Jeff has been helpful and available and answered all my questions. The only issue came up when I hadn't heard anything for several weeks and wondered what the hold up was on getting this set up. I was contacted by Joel and apparently the social security number was incorrect somehow. Ok, things happen, maybe it was my fault or not, doesn't matter. What surprised me was no one contacted me about this. I had to initiate an inquiry. This could've been solved in a heart beat and I'd have my Trust in place by now. As it is, I'm traveling extensively now and having a hard time scheduling a visit to my local Wells Fargo, but I should get it done tomorrow. It's not a big deal, it just backed things up a few weeks. Other than that I'm a happy camper so far.
Overall it was a good experience. I guess I was maybe expecting a little more like some sort of one on one walk thought of the process in an online meeting or at least a video explaining the process for my specific plan I purchased. I had some issues setting up my trust with the bank I chose as I had sent the wrong set of plans to the bank.
I am just starting the process to set-up a checking account, and to fund that account, for my Solo 401K. It's a bit early to comment on the ease or completeness of the process.
My experience with Broad Financial, was professional, through, and very helpful. Will answer any and all questions.
I am still waiting for check from group so I can open the new account for the self-directed IRA LLC.

The process of setting up a self-directing IRA can be very overwhelming. Broad's forte is the ease in how they guide the customer through the process of incorporating, setting up trust, transferring funds to LLC account and banking instructions. By the way, my wife and I now both have SDIRA accounts through Broad Financial. And your support team is equally impressive. Great job!
Signing up for an Ultimate Self Directed IRA that could handle real estate and gold transactions with a checkbook was easy and straightforward with Broad Financial. Going through the process with Madison Trust to setup the Custodian and rollover the funds from my IRA at another company required me to call the old IRA company. Then to open up the checkbook account at TD Ameritrade was not easy at all. The Broad Financial site had the links to the correct forms to open an account with TDA, but there is no clue to what should be put on the forms for an IRA LLC. There needs to be examples given of what to put on the forms and which boxes to check. I called BF for help, but waited for 4 hours and called TDA to see what they wanted on the forms, which took nearly an hour on the phone. I now have the TDA account funded and the whole process took around two months. I'm still waiting for the checkbook, but that's a TDA issue. Broad did return my call the next day.
A partner and I set up our individual Solo 401K Trusts and a sub-LLC to handle real property investing business, and the process is mostly painless. Whenever we encountered problems and needed customer service assistance, the help is prompt helpful. We still have some problems setting bank accounts for the trusts and the LLC, but it seems out of the control of the Broad Financial team. We are mostly satisfied with our experience. -Ed
I found Avi from Broad Financial to be very informative and helpful in all of our dealings. It has been a pleasure to deal with such a professional.
Very pleased thus far. I am in the process of establishing a trust checking account with Wells Fargo in New Jersey. Should any issues arise toward that end I may need your assistance with that endeavor. Thank you for your help establishing the Solo 401K.

Over all my experience was good & everything happened just as advertised. It would be better if I could do more on-line management of my Broad Financial/Madison Trust account. The IRS Form 5498 was very late arriving.
So far I am very pleased with the support and information I've received from Broad Financial. Their process to was efficient, and easy to understand. This is a great option for someone who wants more control over their investments and for a small business owner such as myself. My only frustration is that some major banks don't accept this kind of Trust Account (not B of A, Chase, Citi) here in California. I just opened an account with Wells Fargo but they are not necessarily my favored ban
I like Broad Financial Mark Weissman gets back to me very quickly.Sometime it's pretty confusing getting my account and solo 401(k) provider on the same page but I'm working on it. Learning experience
Overall, a good experience.
My initial conversation established some expectations that were not realized, however. Upon my inquiry, the response given in return seemed somewhat dismissive.
Overall, they have been able to answer my questions and provide the needed guidance. I am currently referring them to others that may be interested as well.
I did not get a response from the online contact form. When I called I did get very good response.
Thanks
Jeff
I think that for my type of account, a timeline with more specific events and who is actually responsible for each action would have been helpful. Also, possibly adding a single point of contact for questions would bge helpful to future customers.
Overall quick and easy to set up. Had some issues setting up the bank account. Not everyone is familiar with Solo 401k's.
So far the process has gone smoothly, Broad made it clear how the process works and there have been no surprises or concerns. Communication responsiveness has been good with both Broad Financial and Madison trust. The process isn't complete yet, waiting for my IRA to transfer funds to the SDIRA. So far I'm happy with how things have progressed.
