I used to like it...
June 30, 2022

I used to give answers on Brainly for hours everyday. I'd spend SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT on answering and I got SOOOO many points only to come back and see someone took the time to delete my hundreds of answers. EVEN THE BEST ANSWERS. EVEN THE BRAINLIEST ANSWERS. Thousands of points disappeared. SOME OF THE QUESTIONS DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A REASON FOR GETTING REMOVED! I read an article "so before you get mad or disappointed"... and then goes onto a rant about how bad my answers must've been. I SPENT TIME LEARNING ABOUT TOPICS I'D NEVER HEARD OF-- Yeah I'm mad. And disappointed. I go into the app and it looks as if nothing could go wrong... "dasetka removed your answer" hundreds of times in my notifications. "Dasetka" has some explaining to do... I think all they wanted to do was to ban me. I guess there's people like that on there. Brainly, being the absolute brainliest, is supporting these people... Like seriosly, if someone has THOUSANDS of points then MAYBE THEIR ANSWERS AREN'T BAD OR "UNRELIABLE" OR "WRONG"... Like, I know where President Clinton was born, it's not incorrect because THE OTHER PERSON SAID THE EXACT SAME THING. WTF?!?!?!? I know what CONDENSATION MEANS IM NOT DELUSIONAL. I hate brainly now. I thought they APPRECIATED THEIR OWN AUDIENCE! I guess not... which means I will no longer spend hours explaining things to people... It appears they've just lost yet another VERY MUCH ACTIVE USER! Plus, whomever this Dasetka person is, will pay back... very soon... because they just taught me how bad the algorithm really is...
I'll be satisfied when "dasetka" goes through this too...

The photos below are only what I got before my account was banned (FOR- SIMPLISTICALLY PUT- NO REASON) and there is, of course, more, but you get the idea.

Tip for consumers:

dont spend hours answering people... brainly doesnt ACTUALLY like that... :c

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE LOW TIER TRASHY WEBSITE
March 16, 2022

Honestly some times people just write 3 words and call it a day but most of the time they just dont give enough explanation, And in that SLIGHTEST moment, they actually, do, it, right. Its annoying when they dont do it right. The functions are stubborn and sometimes wonky, and it barely gets enough updates for it to be a ACTUALY website people would stick to, atleast make it interesting man, PLUS the ceo of it has done squat my man, he just begs for people to buy brainly tutor or brainly plus, and boom, and probably isnt reading the reviews, they even say 1000 moderators are curating the whole website which is probably false because when do you see someones answer being reported or either removed, ALMOST NEVER! I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS SITE, NO PROPER FUNCTIONS, MODERATORS, GOOD ENOUGH ANSWERS, ETC. SO MANY MORE THINGS I COULD SAY BUT TO MUCH FOR THE DAMN CEO TO READ BECAUSE HIS BRAIN IS MICROSCOPING, I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIATED AGAINST THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE OF ALL ITS HORRIBLE THINGS IT HAS IN ITS WEBSITE, 1 STAR, WISH I COULD GIVE IT 1/100, NO 0/100 BECAUSE ITS SO HORRIBLE WHY WOULD I GIVE IT A NUMBER, HE DOESNT DESERVE THAT ONE TENTH OF A 1 OF A START, HE IS GREEDY AND LAZY UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Tip for consumers:

never use this horrible website every again

The most horrible and desperate site I've ever been on.
April 9, 2021

1. The users are terrible. Whenever you ask a question that you want a real answer on, they go on there and type things like "no", "nfieurqgjoiewnlrhirfuqemiu", "sorry, I don't know", and "*nothing*". Fun fact, answering is optional! If you don't know, don't answer! It's THAT simple! All they want are stupid points and they don't care if you need help. And the second person just waits for the first person to answer, then copies them. Also, the questions they ask. They ask if you want to go on a Zoom call with them and they put a code and either put "GIRLS ONLY!", "BOYS ONLY" or "I'M A GIRL". Who in the world goes on a Zoom call with a stranger? And WHO CARES if you are a girl? What, do you want a boyfriend? Because I haven't heard of ANYONE who tries to online date on a school site, not to mention the disgusting boys I've met on there (plus you could be talking to an 11-year-old who says they're 17).

2. The moderators and the verified users. Whoever made Brainly probably got all of their friends and invited them to become a moderator or verified user. Do you know how there are verified answers? Even THEY are wrong. I've come across many verified answers, and they were at least 1 or 2 stars. And for the moderators, they like to abuse their power to a level higher than the highest level. When you answer a question, and it's a real answer with a good explanation, they delete it. And if you ask a real question, NOT SPAM, they delete it. If you write a question exposing them, they'll delete it asap. So if you contact them, you'll never get a response.

3. The dumb ads. There are so many ads on there that block some of the questions. If you're not a part of the website (a user), then they'll blur the answer and ask you to watch ads. After you watch the ad and you accidentally click on a user profile and go back, the answer is blurred again so you have to watch more ads. And the website literally BEGS you to join premium so they can take your money with no refunds. When you use an ad-blocker, a message pops up saying something along the lines of "We noticed you're using an ad blocker. We know, you didn't come here for ads. But enabling ads helps us give you more access to Brainly! Please consider whitelisting us!" and there's a button, "YES, I'LL WHITELIST BRAINLY NOW". "Helps us give you more access to Brainly", huh. It doesn't change a thing with or without ads. You just want more money. So the notification keeps popping up on the top of the screen, but you'll get used to it.

4. How desperate are they for money? A lot. More than the word itself. Here are the ways they attempt to persuade you. Number one, they keep hassling you to join premium every single time they make you watch an ad. Two, they want you to disable your ad blocker so that they can get that "ka-ching"! Three, if you join premium and cancel soon after, you don't get a refund so they just take your cash and get on with it. Four, they try to be "relatable" in their ads with their tone of voice and word choice.

Don't use the website. Don't download the app. Don't get premium. And lastly, just don't do Brainly. It's like selling your soul to the devil, as another reviewer said. This is all by my experience, but if you want to use it, that's all on you.

Brainly.com: An Honest Review.
February 1, 2021

Ah yes, good ol' Brainly. It's a good website; I get a lot of my answers from here and I also answer other people's questions as well, and it has helped me get through the majority of the 2020-2021 school year, especially since I'm doing virtual school now instead of in-person learning due to the current crisis, and my grades have significantly improved ever since. However, in some instances, whenever I ask a question and I give it a lot of points (which can range between let's say 40-100 points), it can get quite interesting.
I asked a question regarding the drama "Antigone" (which is what I'm learning about for my English class), I decided to be generous and gave the question 100 points (which means that two people can answer the question and they both get 50 points). I got an answer from one person that said "idk but good luck". Of course, as soon as I read it, I reported the answer and it got taken down shortly afterwards. But that same person re-answered my question by saying "I might be able to answer this but I am not sure." Then another person answered my question, and the answer they gave was very detailed. I was going to mark their answer as Brainliest, until I copied their answer to my clipboard and pasted it to my Google search bar, and I got a pleasant surprise; the answer they gave me was from Wikipedia, and we all know how teachers are about Wikipedia.
Of course, I wasn't really surprised about my experience. I mean it's the internet after all. It was quite obvious that they both answered my question for the sole purpose of obtaining 50 points. I just want to say that If you want a good answer from Brainly, you kinda have to cross your fingers and hope you get lucky enough to get a good answer instead of some troll that just wants points. But at the same time, be sure to not use up a lot of points for a question (like I did) because that will increase your chances of getting unhelpful answers.
The thing is, if you use a little bit of points to ask a question, it has higher chances of being ignored and left unanswered, but if you use a lot points to ask a question, you'll get answers, but most of the time it's just people who'll give you an unhelpful answer for the points.
In conclusion, the website has good intentions, but the users on this website are kind of a problem. So just be aware of what this website's users have to offer.

Tip for consumers:

As mentioned earlier, if you want an accurate answer to a question, you'd have to cross your fingers and hope you get lucky because some people just answer questions for the sole purpose of obtaining points. Keep in mind that if you use a lot of points (like 40-100 points) for a question you're more likely to get unhelpful answers from trolls because all they want is points. However if you use a little bit of points your answer will most likely be left unanswered, which I think is pretty sad.

Think twice about letting your children use it after reading this QnQ haha sounds like click bait
December 1, 2020

FAT EDIT: i changed it to 2 stars because the website has a good concept for its existence but the people on there are toxic
I saw another review and i thought to edit this saying that the users on brainly are the problem, not necessarily the website k bye tEEhEE: 3))
Everything wrong with this website (almost everything):
"u should say that um peeps dont deserve other people to answer their questions because they should be smart enoug to do it themself"
"It's actually pretty good but some people are just a little... um you get the idea."
And this was the request I posted on brainly originally:
I'm writing a review on brainly.com and I need suggestions on what I should say. By the way, I'm giving this website a 1 star. I want to include the fact that people are trying to get others into a meeting with them on a website that has children on it.
Yes, you read that last part correctly. I am a bLeEp-year-old child trying to retrieve help on a website where there are adults trying to get others into their meetings. These adults encourage CHILDREN to show their bodies on camera.
Other problems with this website:
People spread their personal information on here (address, socials, etc.).
Not everyone is willing to come up with a proper answer (ex: many only answer questions for the "points" they will earn after).
MANY and when i say many i mean MMMMMMAAAAAANNNNNNYYYYYY people post questions like these:
"ooof im bored, anyone wanna talk.-."
"anyone got padlet?" [padlet is a social media platform]
"Hi everyone here are some free points!"
AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEEEEEAAAASSSSSSTTTT:
"Zoom meeting in progress my sister is waiting right now. Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: ### #### #### Passcode: ######"
The id and passcode were removed on purpose btw (0-0').
K den that's kinda it THINK TWICE BEFORE LETTING UR KIDS USE IT
