Boost Mobile's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding customer service and product reliability. Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, inadequate support, and unresolved service issues, including poor coverage and delays in order fulfillment. While some positive feedback highlights helpful individual representatives, the overall sentiment indicates a lack of cohesive support and organization within the company. Additionally, concerns about misleading information and billing practices further detract from customer satisfaction. This combination of factors suggests a pressing need for Boost Mobile to enhance its customer service protocols and improve service reliability to retain its clientele.

I called to get my account number because i needed it to give to my lawyer. I was given the run around. Three lines on one bill how hard could that be? Each line has there own account number and all phones have same pin. However, one phone they said had a different pin but would not give us a solution to get this pin number that we never gave them. Four hours later fibally got all three account number. Worst customer service on phone and instore. Been with BOOST 3-4 years was not planning on switching to another company but after 4 hours to get an account number on tgis that i pay every month was the the last straw. Will be looking else where. Boost doesn't care about customers or keeping them. They just want your money. They also have the worst phones. Im DONE Boost. Goodbye
My wife and I have had Boost for the past year… This pathetic excuse of a carrier would not let me make calls at work, and as of lately, my own apartment. When switching our service, the Sales Representatives (more like@$$ clowns) told us the phone was "unlocked" even though their SIM card would still indicate it was locked. A representative from our new carrier disputed this issue with them for 20 minutes, and Boost flat out kept telling them it was an issue with the new service-not Boost. They then hung up without trying to fix the situation at all. I had to pay hundreds of dollars to pay for a whole new phone. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING! A simple "sorry" would have been good too. Save yourself money and a headache. Don't get Boost. I repeat, DO NOT GET BOOST.
To sum it all up briefly: didn't get what went in for, was told can make changes before new month started. Employee got fired! The other store clerk, (rude) nor 800 service wouldn't made it right or change anything at all. My money lost, lesson learned, went back my other phone service.
They seem really slow so I tried to give them business. BIG mistake. I ordered some new cases for my phone, but they are garbage! They barely come up over the sides of the phone. No lip. Little, IF ANY real protection for the glass. The manager refused to return them, even though I was still in the store. She said they don't do refunds on accessories. She should have warned me to begin with, that their cases are cheap garbage! If they don't protect, what good are they? You can see in the picture that the case would not protect the glass. Hope they go out of business so others aren't screwed like I was.
My recommendation: go somewhere else!
So we've bought a boost mobile phone and a sim card with a 3 months plan. When we contacted the company about activating the sim card, after 30 minutes they said it should work. Well it didn't. After a day we contacted them again and they said that the sim card isn't compatible which doesn't make sense. So they sent another sim card and we activated it again and they, again, said it should work. Well it didn't AGAIN. Sooo we contacted them again, they said that one is also not compatible. They said they're gonna send another and it should arrive in 2 days, we waited 5 days and it still didn't arrive. At least we got a refund. I feel like whoever works in the company's customer service, they just say things to "complete the job" without actually doing stuff and actually helping you out. They try to basically get rid of you. Time wasted. Almost 2 weeks wasted with this sh. T company. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.
I purchased two Samsung a23 5G cell phones, when I received them they did not have SIM cards so I decided to return them, they gave me an RA number that I posted on the box that the phones came in, I had to pay for shipping back via UPS, so after waiting for the package to return to the Boost Mobile return processing center, I was refunded for one phone, after calling many times I was told that because there was only one RA number that's why I only got a refund for one phone, I asked them did they receive both phones and I was assured that yes both phones were received and that I would have to wait 14 business days for them to process the second phone, so I did wait and when I finally called back I was told that the second phone wasn't received, I told them they were both in the same box and that on the tracking information you could see where an actual person signed for the Box, so anyone who has dealt with Boost Mobile customer service knows they're full of s*** so I basically have been a victim of Boost Mobile thievery... it seems to me that they have their company set up so that no one is accountable, do not use boost mobile.
3 malfunction phones y'all sent a 4th locked to another carrier highly displeased yall suck as providers take peoples money upsale a insurace y'all can't provide…. Everyone just save yourself the trouble go to metro by T-Mobile they won't do you dirty good business-unlike boost
So I paid for my monthly service on time, a week later they turned my service off so I had to pay again, they told me since they are a prepaid service they can't do refunds or issue a credit to my account even though I had to pay twice for something that was their fault.
I had Boost for over 3 years. Same prepaid plan for 3 years. I never once even came close to using up the 35 GB of high speed data. Yesterday I got notified that I have used all of my high speed data on my phone in just 6 days! 6 days after paying my bill, somehow all of my data has been used. I do not use my phone enough for this to be correct. I only use it for social media & web browsing which does not use that much data. I'd have to be streaming movies 24 hours a day in order to use that much data that quickly. I contacted Boost & they told me I'd have to pay my phone bill AGAIN to refresh the data allotment. There is no explanation or reason as to where all my data went. They just want more money. So if I were to pay them the $52.99 & then all of my data gets sucked up in a few days again, I'm just supposed to keep paying them without any explanation? Boost mobile are thieves & scammers!
Trired to ask a question and he kept repeating how long we needed to gave the phone or how long we had it. It honestly felt like talking to a robot. Kept running in circles around the sand sentence never getting an answer that was not a scripted answer. You could tell he was searching thru script by the long UMMs and SOOs.
These guys are CRIMINALS. Bought service online and they sent me the wrong SIM even though I have a Boost Mobile phone. When I called there the criminals said they had sent the "black SIM card kit" and they were supposed to send me the "orange SIM card kit" and of course never did after several weeks. I called these criminals several times to cancel. I check my credit card statement and these criminals billed me yet again and plan to do so illegally every month even though they were told and had knowledge
Of me not having service. They have scammed me and many others I know in the past. Calls have been made repeatedly to them only to be put on long hold times then hung up on. On Oct 2 2022 at aprrx 6pm the 14th call to Boost Mobile was made after more than 36 min on hold I hung up. All emails they used were returned to sender. Criminal charges will be filed with the State, FTC and FBI.
I recently spent hours trying to buy a new phone online. Their system kept declining different cards, despite the banks' approval and more than sufficient funds and/or credit. But the real problem was the inability to get past the stupid "Hey!" … robot and actually speak to someone. I tried every option. I even did the online chat. Nothing worked. I couldn't get anyone to respond. I was trying to buy a $500 phone and keep their service but they did nothing to keep my business. So I went with another provider. These companies have to give you an option beyond "Press (pick a number.)"
Attempting the. 99 cent month try before you buy (2.86 with taxes, etc.). 2 brand new phones and neither were activated properly. Customer Service was worthless. Switched to Visible immediately instead. At least I was only out $6.
Data speed slow at best. Customer service horrible after 15 years with boost they shore have went downhill since this new company bought boost. Customer service said had to buy more data after having to rewind videos over n over burning up even more data they refused any kind of help except WE CAN SELL YOU MORE HIGH SPEED DATA PACKS. That are slow at best. I'm done with boost...
This is the worst phone company every. Its not easy activating a new phone with them and if anything goes wrong you have to keep buying new SIM cards. I will never waist my time or energy on this company anymore.
I have been using Boost Mobile for years. I have been paying 7 dollars month insuranc for many years ~ which I thought was reasonable. Last week I needed to file a claim which was approved. I sent in my 185.50 deductible to get a coupon for 106 dollars without my deductible being reimbursed because that is what my phone was worth! The insurance is a scam. I have spent 4 hours on phone today between boost ~ the insurance co ~ and my credit card refusing the charge … will be looking for a new carrier now
I had to put 2 (requests) in for my own money because it was on wrong account. First time they had the nerve to deny it! Now I haven't heard anything on 2nd request. They are coming off as crooks and next review will be with BBB!
I bought a iPhone se online from my.boostmobile.com when I needed a new phone. I ordered an iPhone se and ever since I got it no5ing by problems! Boost accused me of stealing the phone saying I didn't purchase it from them although I took screenshots and saved them when I bought it. My phone worked for on day after spending $300 on it. Boost was no help at all and refused to do anything for me!,, they said the immigration didn't match the phone they sent me! Stay away from this company! They took my money sent me a iPhone that wasn't working right and never helped me!,, I hate boost!
I got an unlimited plan received the confirmation email then a month later i suddenly owe 301.
Even though they already know its not my mistake 5 days later no phone service
Purchased SIM at Target since it was on sale for $14.99 for 3 month service vs. regular $45. Thought, can't beat the price and website confirmed phone was compatible. Porting in was fine, but thereafter, no incoming calls came through; could make outgoing calls, but each call took 30 to 40 secs to connect and ring. Called customer service (definitely not U.S. based) and was informed that an expedited request to fix the issue was submitted to the tech department. Waited about 6 hrs and no fix. Decided to buy Mint's SIM and port out number from Boost. Called CS to request port out PIN. As I could not receive any incoming calls, they could not call my phone to verify and issue a PIN. Hence, they asked for the ICCID # from the SIM card envelope. Unfortunately, I had thrown out the envelop and asked if there was any other way. CS informed me that my only option was to go to a Boost store. Asked to transfer me to a U.S. CS department which I know exists as I was transferred for my initial tech issue, where I was informed that the first people who answer the calls are their "first-line" reps. Long story short, I was not transferred to a U.S. rep but to another foreign supervisor, who when I again asked to transfer me to a U.S. rep, hung up. When I attempted to call back (twice), coincidentally, after the automated message said "transferring you to a rep..." it just hung up both times. Fortunately, googled ICCID # and found out that you can retrieve it from your phone in Settings. After calling back from a different number so that I wouldn't be hung up again, I was able to get through and by the grace of God, gave my ICCID # and received PIN. Switched out to Mint the same minute.
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
