Boost Mobile's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding customer service and product reliability. Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, inadequate support, and unresolved service issues, including poor coverage and delays in order fulfillment. While some positive feedback highlights helpful individual representatives, the overall sentiment indicates a lack of cohesive support and organization within the company. Additionally, concerns about misleading information and billing practices further detract from customer satisfaction. This combination of factors suggests a pressing need for Boost Mobile to enhance its customer service protocols and improve service reliability to retain its clientele.

Placed an order online, they took money out of my account, tried to cancel order they told me there's no way to cancel an order. So now I have no way to get my money back. The order status says error and they have no idea why it says that.
When you pay for a phone, you should be able to switch companies when you want to Boost mobile released my number but will not unlock my phone this is not fair and can someone tell me who can I report them to. I would not refer boost mobile to a dog
I changed my number and they give me a deficit number and it won't attach to my text messages I call them five times and it still not fixed
Yes, it is unlimited but when you reach your data cap spends are lowered to 2G. Which 2G is not fast enough to use your phone. With the 2G my phone always says no internet connection because it's too slow to do anything. Even play Amazon music. It's just music! Why did they remove 3G and leave behind that very slow 2nd G?!?!?! RIDICULOUS. Especially when 3G can sufficiently power our phones. I will be changing carriers next month!
I purchased a phone 12/8/22 and realized it didn't have enough memory when I got it home. It was a present for my son and I didn't realize it had 64 gb. I called the store on 12/12 and spoke with a rep who stated they don't do refunds just exchanged I asked for an exchange and they dont have any iPhones with more than 64 gb. I spoke with Johnny who also manages a store on 109th street and he told me he didn't have iPhones only androids. He said if he ordered one on Thursday(because they only order phones on Thursday) i would be outside of the 7 day policy when the phone came on Friday. He also said he wasn't willing to be charged a 400 fee for the phone so im stuck with it. He was rude arrogant and refused to honor the store policy. Never do business with this store you will be stuck with a phone you may not want and cant exchange it because they never have phones. Buy online.
I Had Asked If I Could Get A Extension On A Phone Bill For 2 More Days & Couldn't Even Do That But Yet They Want You Too Pay All That Money For Bad Service. Also A 60 Dollar Plan Is Suppose Too Come W Unlimited Data. DATA RUNS UP IN NO TIME. THEN SHES OFFERED ME THE ACP Program Witch I Found Very Disrespectful. THIS COMPANY OVER ALL IS A SCAM I WOULD NEVER TELL SOMEONE TOO SWITCH OVER TOO BOOST!
Ive been a boost customer for over 10 years. I'm trying to help anyone who may be considering a new cell service. After dish/T-Mobile took over boost, it has gone right off a cliff. Large areas of "no cell service", including in large cities and/or major roadways. And, no one has any answers whether you try to contact boost customer service by phone (which you can't get anyone), or you try and go face to face at a boost location, no one has answers. They will talk to you about buying new phones with "expanded coverage", but the service only further depreciated. They sold a lot of phones that way. I'm just trying to help. I would not recommend Boost any more. It once was a great cell phone company.
No internet service unless I'm under my wifi. Tried many times to correct this with customer service. Wondering if anyone might recommend a carrier that might be better I feel this is a waste of my money. Too I have four lines on this account, two lines having the same problem. I am so done with boost
This is coming from a customer of 5-6 years. 1.) The new customer deals seem enticing, but they treat their new customers better than their old customers. By this, I mean the only people getting deals on phones and plans are brand new customers, so after that first purchase, you're sucked into their network, and don't expect any upgrade deals because those are non-existent. 2.) Their customer service is awful. I had to have a Boost Mobile employee tell me about how to get around their automated answering machine, and you have to press 0 multiple times until you literally get left on hold for 5 minutes, and then you get service. When I finally got ahold of someone, the worker did his job well and was polite, but the entire process is exhausting and it Boost seems to try to avoid real human contact at all costs. 3.) The actual service of cellular reception is trash. I never have service in some areas, even my own home and in town some places. I also have bad wifi, so having to guess which is worse that day in order to load a single web page is more than frustrating. Which leads me into 4.) It's overpriced. You heard me. They used to be reasonably priced for their quality of service, but since their rates went up, it's barely cheaper than a company like T-Mobile, who has much better service. How cheap they used to be was their selling point, and was the reason why I hopped on their train in the first place. Now they have no selling point that could convince me to stay. 5.) Good luck getting a third-party sold phone into the equation. Boost is more than picky about what phones they allow to work with their service, so if you find a great deal on a phone or want to buy a used phone, you're out of luck if it's not from boost. This is actually the last straw that is making me write this review.
If that isn't enough, I have no idea what you're looking for in a phone company, but Boost surely won't have it.
Slow data … did I say slow data connections!
Guy at boost store was new, but he was good. But the service on my iPhone is the same as Verizon. Slowwwwwww, this is 2022 you would think it would be decent but it's not
Trying to change to wife's plan with other carrier. Literally been on phone for hours to get pin. They keep transferring call and then eventually disconnect you. This should be illegal. Will pick up quick if paying.
I've been a loyal customer for almost 10 plus years and they have no flexibility for anything because they are prepaid so is metro but they are flexible Also they are not letting me take my phone number to another carrier all because I'm switching I would not recommend service is terrible as well another reason for switching companies
They refuse to give account number in order to change carrier, after they pick up the call and I explained the reason of the call they put me in hold for hours at the time and no one answers. Filed a complaint with BBB and will file another with consumer affairs in the state of New Jersey
My mother's service was cut the next day after she had just payed her boost mobile phone. Their excuse was that they needed their supervisors permission to put the service back on even if inn their system the system tells them she had payed her boost bill. Then my mother was told they couldn't find her money. Now that's Confusing right. And instead of investigating their system and their failures as a business they investigate my mother. And refuse to refund her money from their terrible service I recommend that you should never do business with Boost mobile it's woke and their system fails and bad customer service. They have you waiting for a half hour or more. When it comes to you needing their help it sucks don't get into boost. Mobile. If any problems their supervisors is out doing something. And barely there for most problems. You need to talk to them about. They give you the run around.
Do not at any cost get boost mobile service! I would rather pay your deposit for a real mobile company for you than see you use boost! I'm a small business owner who was over his data and paid my bill early to get my plan restarted to have data per boost google yes you can do that. 10 calls later, 4 hang up's by them told nope we don't care what boost google says! I lost out in nearly 500.00 having employees waiting to get pick up info from me. I just hired 3 new employees I'm adding company phones but yeah you guest it they Will Not Be Boost Phones.
Ordered a phone from Boost Mobile through their customer service department on 11/8/2022. Was informed I would receive the order number through my email. Never received the email, confirmation number or text. Called Boost and I would receive the email in 48 hours. Nothing. On November 14, still no phone, confirmation number or text, however, Boost had already debited my checking account. I called almost every day, only told an investigation was being performed. Asked for a refund. As of 11/24, no phone or refund. Phone arrived on 11/28. I don't want the phone now, but have to wait another 2-4 days to receive a return label, which wasn't included in, or with the package
Total nightmare dealing with Boost Mobile
Box never opened. Boost Mobile has lost me as a customer, after nearly 7 years as a loyal customer. Beware of their horrible customer service and non-english speaking representatives.
In summary it is horrible! There will always be some type of problem with your phone, they will always claim they'll fix it, and they're customer service is horrible.
Tried logging in with my phone number or email on new app and I keep getting the doesn't match our records pop-up, yet when I call the customer service number it's recognized there asking if this is the number I'm calling about. Customer service agents (5 so far) kept giving me the run around telling me "Rest assured you will be able to log in soon with the new improved app". WHEN? My wife has a Boost 4G and was able to login with no issues. Mine is a 5G and still isn't working with the app. I can make payments with an agent and keep my service active, just can't use the app to do so. C'mon Man.
3 weeks ago, my teenage daughter informed me that she had run out of data for the month -- meaning no more mobile data or MMS messages. I went to the Boost Mobile website and purchased the 1GB AddOn so it would continue to work; the purchase went through, but the data wasn't applied to her plan.
We've contacted Customer Support on 5 different occasions and spent more than 4 hours on the phone, but no one has been able to help (ticket #*******). We've been told the ticket has been escalated, but other than that answers are hard to come by.
Unfortunately, things got worse today. As part of the troubleshooting process, they sent us a new SIM card. We connected with support, had the IMEI and ICCID added to the account, inserted the new SIM, and now her phone can't receive calls or SMS messages either.
I understand that technical glitches happen and can be difficult to resolve -- I write computer code for a living. But it's been THREE weeks. This past weekend, she missed out on an activity with friends because MMS messages won't load. And tonight she started a new job, but left her phone here with me as I try to find someone who can help.
Our family of 4 signed up for the 12-Month Unlimited Talk & Text +1GB plan in July, so we're in it to the tune of $400. I'm not interested in a refund -- I'd rather that the service worked -- but if we can't get the phone to work, a refund might be in order?
Purchase a prepaid card for Boost Mobile for $80 couldn't read the numbers on the back sent them emails of everything customer service reps only credit me eight dollars and $72 is missing a try to give me 40 to Call it even. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau I recorded their phone calls that's when they hung up on me
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
