Ordered rear decals for Yamaha cowling and was sent front set. Called and talked to customer service and was told that I ordered the wrong part which was wrong it seems the part I ordered was superceded to the front set which I don't need. The representative said he didn't want to argue with me and hung up on me. All I wanted was to return the ones I got sent and try to get the rear ones( which found out are no longer available but web site doesn't mention this). Still waiting on a return authorization email which I was told was sent to me. Haven't seen it yet!

This was My first time ordering from Boats.net. I really like the ease of finding the exact part that I needed for my 2 stroke Yamaha. Once tracking was updated it took 7 days to get from GA to NC.

I ordered an inner and outer diaphragm with gaskets for a 2002 Tohatsu outboard, and website says it shipped on May 31, and here we are June 10, and UPS and USPS both say they are waiting on the item when you try to track it. This stuff could have been placed in an envelope with a stamp and I'd have it already.

No problem getting the part that I needed in the service
I needed spare Yamaha keys for my outboard. I found the keys on Boats.net with ease and fairly priced. I also was able to purchase the rubber Yamaha key covers. I placed my order and delivery was as promised.
After ordering, I was notified that some of my items were not in stock. Initially, it only added two days but they kept "adding" days of delay on top of that. Meanwhile, the items I truly NEEDED were held hostage until ALL the order could be fulfilled. Basically it took an extra week.
No problems with the actual parts.

If the manufacturer is unable to ship the part in the previous time frame provided, a new status email will be sent to the customer advising of new date. I would think about the way ups deals with your packages. I ordered on May 31 and ups has yet to post a delivery date and puts blame on the sender.
