This is one of the worst question banks I have ever used. I have tested in the top 10th percentile on every step and board exam thus far. However I can see this question bank is not representative of clinical practice or exams. They rely on knowledge of exact percentages for example to increase the sense of qbank difficulty. The information has not been updated to reflect current screening standards. Answers often contain typos. The questions require no critical thinking and instead rely on the test taker to "read the mind" of whoever wrote the question or whatever small study they happened to reference. Poor job and I would recommend against buying. Unfortunately not many other options exist in this space.

The quality of the questions and answer explanations and the learning opportunities they offer are extremely poor. The questions are fact based and the answer explanations are brief and poor. Furthermore, it appears that questions are word for word copied from a review book (Echocardiography Board Review by Ramdas Pai). One could just buy the book for much cheaper.

Agree with ortho dude, or dudette. Internal Medicine review in my case. Very poor questions, vague, incomplete. I posted a thorough review on the Boardvitals site. Honest, kept it clean. Bet it won't be posted, because they didn't pay me. Study elsewhere, this one's pretty pathetic.

I paid the exorbitant fee for the Orthopaedic Recert Exam questions. The quality of the questions and the answers are laughable. There are so many grammatical errors and the explanations are horrible for most of the questions. There are omitted words. In one explanation, they call the scaphoid the scapula. Th Cases which have a humpback deformity (intrascaphoid angle greater than 35 degrees) additional require an open-wedge interposition graft, which restores the normal anatomical positions of the scapula in relation to the carpal bone. That is the explanation.:(

There are far better on-line prep sites for 1/3rd the cost. I feel like I was completely ripped off. There is no place on their site to actually submit a review... huge red flag. This is honestly just a scam, taking money off of people who are stressed about prepping for watever exam they have to take. Dont be fooled like I was. I dont feel like the questions would prepare me for the exam, even if the site was free (and it was over $600!).

Trust me... DONT DO IT!

(Ortho Bullets is a thousand times better for far less money and I assure you that I have no incentive to say so.)

I had used Boardvitals in past as an easy way to get CME's and decided to give them a try on the Qbank for the psychiatry MOC ( since already had an account with them). I had used someone else's Qbank for my first MOC in 2012 and figured that there should not be much difference in content. I liked the fact there was an Iphone app to do and review questions on the go and besides some questions being repetitive and too simple but overall did not find much issues initially. I was doing their quizzes daily and getting about a 90 average ( had gotten an 88 in my previous MOC, so figured it sounds about right)
Fast forward to exam day and as I started to glance at the 220 questions... the content of the questions did not resemble anything covered or learned in the BoardVitals Q bank by any stretch of the imagination, plus the current exan also includes case videos and pictures. At the end of the exam I felt deflated and thought for sure I had failed but I guess by pure luck received back a grade in the 70's.
Possibly the questions reflected content for the past but definately not the current content. If I decide to sit for a third MOC, will definately try a different Q bank
