“Roush Hood Scoop”

Biggest mistake ever, buying a Roush hood scoop from Blue Oval Industries. Had the scoop on for 2 weeks, after a hot day it warped and sagged. After many emails to Roush and Blue Oval Industries neither would claim responsibility, even though still under warranty. This is a common problem which they are not addressing. They are knowingly selling defective products.

False advertisement on ship times, vented concerns to a one man ship and he gave smart $#*! comments in return in writing. Asked in writing for him to be professional and he stopped my shipment! Then on top of that they are holding my refund hostage! Was told they will refund AFTER they get their product received back from fedex which takes at least another 7-10 days. So I contacted the seller and actually spoke to this idiot who made it clear that I would not get my refund until he determined necessary. He further insulted my mental capacity for simply asking them to not advertise times they cannot meet. Insulting the buyer and canceling the order during shipment is punishing the buyer for simply raising a concern over their failed to meet ship deadlines. This customer service is absolutely horrendous and it turns out it's a small mom-and-pop operation who buys and sells through different distributors as a middle person on eBay. They blamed fedex, however the problem is from where the seller posts the ship time frames. FedEx and eBay do not control their ship times. They checked a box for their advertisement to specify a time frame in which they can meet the deadline.

The item was ordered on the sept 22nd... ad says ON OR BEFORE the 28th. This includes the weekend. Turns out fedex says it's impossible to ship in the timeframe in the manner that the seller posts unless they use 3 day guarantee OR the ground shipment is within "regional distance." In this case it went east to west coast and the seller claims they can have the product delivered in 6 days. Absolute garbage. I even contacted the seller BEFORE I ordered the item and I was reassured that the product would be delivered on or before the date they had indicated on the advertisement. It was critical that I received this item by the time they specified, hence the reason for ordering with them and not a competitor. I even paid more thinking I would get it sooner over their competitors. I learned that the product would not be delivered on time as indicated so I contacted the company with concerns because I found out the product would not be delivered to me until another FIVE business days. Tell me how you can advertise something to be delivered within six days only for it to show up after 11 business days? It's simply false advertisement and a way for the seller to gain consumers over their competitors. It's dirty business and I have everything in writing.

Do not trust this company with any of your time or money. If you review their feedback on eBay you will see they average a substantial amount of negative reviews as compared to their competitors. However because they are a high volume seller you would not normally see the negative feedback hidden amongst the hundreds of orders.

When a customer raises a concern to you as a seller, it is your due diligence to at least hear a customer out and come to a resolution. Instead of this, I was immediately insulted, attacked and my money was held hostage after they decided to stop my shipment midway.

Buyers beware!

I would give a negative 10 if it was allowed. I have been buying car parts for 10 years and just happened to find this company through google when americanmuscle was out of a part I was looking for. Wish I had done some reviews on this company before buying, but the company web page looked legit. The part I ordered did not fit on my car. Point Blank, didn't fit, no way to make it fit. The product had a defect. I had to pay to return the defective product. He also deducted a 15% restocking fee on a defective product. How are you going to restock a defective product. To top it all off, he deducted the orginial cost to them when they sent the part to me via fee shipping. So at the end of it all I lost $30 on a defective product. Emailed and called to discuss issue and Mr. John Yates proceded to yell, scream, curse, and hang up. He said to bad, our return policy states that we can take back orginal shipping cost and 15% restocking fee on EVERY order returned. BUYER BEWAR! Worst company I have EVER dealt with. Hope he feels good stealing peoples money. The company is not BBB accredited so he doesn't care what he says or does to anyone. Don't waste your money. Shop with American Muscle or Summit.

Product was suppose to be 100% identical stock replacment headlight assembly.

It was 100% POS, didn't fit, was cheaply made, wasn't even sealed.
