My husband has bee surprising me with Blue Nile diamonds since 2009! I am always so pleased with the quality of the diamonds as well as the settings. I have 4 rings, a pair of studs, hoops and a beautiful pendant. Blue Nile's customer care and service team is top notch too! I've had my rings appraised for insurance purposes and my appraisals have all come back for a much higher replacement value than we spent. I will forever refer friends and family to Blue Nile!
They trick you in buying their products, take your money and then do not ship for the prior discussed and promised shipping date. Prices seem to be good but this whole thing is like a scam. Poor sales people in the blue nile shops that have to sell this scam. STAY AWAY and buy local from your store!
The shopping experience was easy enough, as usual. Unfortunately, the emeralds in the earrings I purchased were not as green as the image shown which was what you'd expect when you think of emerald green. Instead, they are a shade or two lighter, milkier if you will. And these were NOT cheap! My wife says she likes them but she's also a very polite person. I'd be lying if said I wasn't disappointed.

I bought a gold ring from here nearly spending $2k. They said it would arrive in 3 -4 days. It took way longer than that. Just dropping my honest thoughts!
Hi Matthew, thanks for the honest review! We apologize for the delay and we hope that you love your ring.
I ordered two items. A sapphire and diamond ring which I love. But also a sapphire and diamond bolo bracelet that looks so tiny that my grandchildren could wear it.
I am almost 60.
It is not as pictured.
I received return instructions and with a very contagious disease could not get to the required UPS store with all the details on return of a $750 bracelet.
I called back to Blue Nile and said " I am bedridden and could not return in time slot".
The gal told me she needed a doctors note.
I called my infectious disease doctor and the nurse laughed. She said," Seriously, you need a doctors note to return a piece of jewelry? There is a worldwide pandemic going on and no way is the doctor going to have time to write a doctors note for you to return a piece of jewelry "
So I am stuck with a $750 never worn and never will be worn bracelet. Who on earth requires a doctors note because I was too contagious to get to a far away UPS store and triple package as required this unwanted bracelet.
So incredibly unsatisfactory. A shame. Because I love jewelry and live most of yours.
But in these times I can not even physically get into a doctor let alone have them write a letter to explain my delay in a return.

I have a marriage function in the coming Sunday but I have not new collections of jewelry for wearing at the time of function. So I am very sad and decided to not attending the function. That time my mom ordered pair of diamond bangles from the bluenile.com site. It was an amazing set of diamond bangles. After got the bangles I attend the function.
Blue Nile isn't a bad place to buy a ring, but I found the diamonds to be only so so and making a return was harder than I had anticipated. The customer service on the phone was good though.
