My son and I only wanted to take the OCEAN personality test out of curiosity. We Googled it and found a website offering the test for free. After completing a long questionnaire, we were charged $1.95 just to see the results. Then, several pages of book offers appeared before the purchase was finalized.

And guess what? That $1.95 turned out to be an auto-renewing subscription. After only seven days, they charged $29.95, which will continue to renew every month. In my case, each of us had to pay separately.

When I noticed the two charges on my credit card a day later, I immediately contacted customer service to request a refund, as we never used the platform after taking the test. Their response was that we should have read the email confirmation, which stated that the subscription would auto-renew after seven days at $29.95 per month.

This website is a scam. They lure you in with a free test, make you pay just to see the results, bombard you with book offers, and then trap you into a subscription. This is not how you gain customers or build a trustworthy business.
