We moved into new build home with no window coverings, so I was on the search for window treatments for most the windows in my home. I searched/got estimates from both local and online businesses. I stumbled across a blog that mentioned they used Blindster for their window coverings and it was stated that she was pleased with this company and that they had great prices. I did a bit of my own research and eventually decided to give this company a try. The first room I ordered for was our master bedroom. I ordered Roman blinds. I was very pleased with the amount of options and fabrics they had to choose from and their prices were very reasonable. I pulled the trigger and order 4 blackout Roman shades which I am pleased with. Since then I have ordered window coverings for my entire house, a combination of Roman and solar shades. The quality is great, even compared to local window treatment companies who are much more pricey. What truly sets this company apart is their customer service, it's top notch and I truly appreciate this! They are prompt, helpful and deliver on their promises. I am now a loyal customer and tell all my friends and family about them. During my process to obtain window treatments there were a few delays and a broken shade but Blindster makes it right for their customers. I'm thrilled I found them! Thank you Blindster for your products and commitment to quality customer service.

“Ordered 5 Solar Shades”

Ordered 5 solar shades. Website says: "One 30* operating pole is sent with every cordless shades order to help reach shades in taller windows". Expected 5 operating poles since windows are tall, located in different rooms, and my wife is petite. I received one pole for all 5 shades. They want to charge me $25 to send me rods the website says come with the shades. They say the website says they will send only one pole per order. I disagree. And no where does it give you the option to order more for each window. So instead of taking care of a customer who just spent $2200 and then correcting their website, they told me they wouldn't send them unless I paid extra. I told them I won't be a returning customer and I would let everyone know why. On their website you'll find the following statement from Kyle Cox the Founder and CEO: "Time and time again companies start out with an emphasis on customer service only to lose sight down the road, forgetting that happy customers are the reason for their success. At Blindster, we will always strive to exceed the expectations of our customers. We truly mean it when we say; "We don't just want customers today…we want customers for life!" Hey Kyle! I was a returning customer. You didn't meet my expectations. I'm not Happy! And you just lost me for Life!

I ordered three faux-wood blinds. One worked perfectly. The other two blinds would not close tightly. You turned in one direction, and then it was like the ratchet mechanism would just run out of "gears" to run... there was a clicking noise. It ended up that I was able to got it working by sliding the hexagon tilt rod completely out of the string units and then rearranged the mechanism so that it had more ratchet room to use, to get the tilt completely shut.

I had some problems with my order. If your measurements end on a half, like 26.5" Customers should be advised to round up instead of down. The company cuts a 1/2" off of whatever measurements you provide. I would have preferred to have my inside cut blinds to be a little wider, but they will work ok. Customer service worked with me to provide mitred valances to help cover the exposed metal tops. Thanks again!

Got our blinds and installed them with a little difficulty because the instructions were rather vague, not specific at all. Since my son is very handy, we figured it out logically. They work nicely, but received some Velcro looking pieces that we aren't sure what they're for- no mention in the instructions. May be for hold downs on windy days? Production took longer than expected in making them, so it took a couple weeks longer than anticipated.

I had a whole-house order. Some of the material had recently been back ordered so the manufacture time of these were a bit longer--which they let me know about after I asked. This, however, made the delivery time when I was out of state. I was told an email would be sent when the blinds shipped. This email never happened so I was unable to arrange for the packages to be brought into my house. They were on my deck for ~1 week unfortunately. But luckily nothing happened.

The product and value are great and I'm very happy with that.

Everything arrived in good shape and the installation was easier than expected. They work and look good. Only 1 problem was that the cord to raise and lower arrived incorrect. The options were silver metal or a colored plastic. And we paid extra for the dark brown colored plastic. What we received was white colored plastic. They work but sure wish we got what we ordered.

Everything ordered received ok. Installation went well. About a week or so later one of the lifting strings came loose. It took us some time to get this figured out and get the blind working properly. This was on the double unit which made it more difficult. We think you should use a better way to secure these ends.

I called the Blindster customer service number and was pleasantly surprised to get to speak with a person right away. A replacement pull chain for my shade was sent to me free of charge and I received it in about a week.

Nice blinds. However make all you measurement about 2 inches shorter. Everyone one of mine was 1 bilnd too many. Don't even try using the screws they send. Do your self a favor and go to a hardware store and get yourself good ones. They strip very easy.

Must admit that my order was significant. Had 5 sliders/windows wider than 92" along with other blinds.
It took two weeks before the blinds were done, then they were mailed which took another 4 days. Also, need to mention that Blindster charges $75/order for blinds wider than 82".
So, if you use Blindster.com, plan accordingly.
Customer service was nice enough although throughout the process, at one point they were not able to specifically indicate where in the process my blinds were.

The blinds I ordered look good in a spare bedroom that won't see much use, and are fairly sturdy. They also are great for blocking out the rising sun in the mornings. But the quality was lacking in that it is very difficult to operate, which is OK for the price, since we won't be trying to open & close them.

Very happy with the final product and the look and style however...

The two ends of the roller shade are just metal brackets. Couldn't they include something white and plastic or something to cover that up? Also one of the shades was damaged in shipping and has a recurring indent right down the middle of it. It's been hung for 2 weeks and still remains. I was hoping it would go on time, so will see...

The blinds arrived on time, fit my window perfectly, and were easy to install. The color was a bit off - the actual product was much lighter than in the photo. My only complaint is the price point; these blinds are made of bamboo, which is a cheap and plentiful material. I found some blinds of the same width on another site with a slightly shorter (but acceptable) length and constructed identically, for half the price - and they actually look better than the blinds I purchased here.

After placing our order online, I changed my mind. I sent a msg and had a fast call back from a company rep. He guided me through the issue and it was taken care of. On the flip side, the blinds (top down/bottom up) don't seem to stay level. I usually use my finger to push the side that's higher down to be even with the other side. I have an eye for precision so maybe it's just me. But it's a bit of an annoyance.

We recently did our whole house with Blindster blinds. We found them to be a little too short, and will not stay down. The up and down blinds open at the top when pulling them all the way down, even when pulled very slowly and gently. We did not have this problem with the one blind we bought from another company.

The only negative I had was I didn't realize that the track did not have any dress up to cover the bare metal. I went to a local home center and bought some plastic hardware and created my own valences out of the extra vertical blind panels that were sent to me.
