Credit card info was skimmed/picked/somehow leaked however which has created an issue of trust in the site security processes. Bladehq is the only purchase since Nov 2023 with this particular card, and now there are numerous fraudulent charges and attempts. Very frustrating.

Ordered on 12-27 emailed 3 times since and just received a reply today 1-4. If you were closed the holiday week, you should tell people. No email in response to "when will this item ship" for 7 days is unacceptable when I received at least 20 emails in the same time for Sales at Balde HQ. Just want my knife. Never had any problems before and don't expect any in the future once this is resolved

You have a terrible reputation in the knife community for lack of communication, slow shipping, and lack of responsiveness to complaints.i still haven't reciebed a order confirmation but you're company has helped itself to payment from my bank account. I've recieved no receipt for payment since the charges. No communication except an email saying my order was recieved 2 days after I emailed them regarding no communication from your company. And yet still no confirmation email.

Order a Boker Alluvial -both the press button didn't work. Ask for them to check the second knife BEFORE they sent it out. Obviously they didn't do it! We will send another one hope it works. Really no follow up on problem. Zack must been to busy to walk down to shipping to check on problem. Hey to check out and maybe sent a free replacement to this good customer. Nope didn't care. Time for coffee break. I work in customer service for 40 years -what it take to make it right,and keep a happy customer who come back.

My experience with bladehq.com was excellent up until I attempted to return my purchase. Their customer service was notch, the order went smoothly and I received the knife in fine condition ahead of schedule. I purchased a $450 MicroTech Scarab Executive and was just not happy with it. It was my first experience with any OTF and I found the blade play/reliability of lock up to be less then stellar. I shopped around the site a little more and decided I would exchange the knife for a side opening automatic designed for left handlers. It was a lower cost knife but thought I could be refunded the difference. I contacted bladehq for a return authorization number and received on right away. I also agreed to pay a 5% restocking fee and the return shipping. Here is where I made a mistake. During the couple of days I had the knife, I reversed the pocket clip for left handed carry. Without thinking about it, I packaged the knife up and returned it per their instructions. After waiting a few days, I tracked the package and saw it had been delivered. The next business day I sent an email asking if the knife had been received. Within a couple of hours I got a response saying the knife had indeed been received but upon inspection it was determined that the pocket clip had been reversed and scratched the opposite side of the knife, voiding their return policy. They immediately sent the knife back to me with no notice or anything. I understand why the exchange was rejected but I was really disappointed that they gave no other options like a trade in value or something. Not even a notification that they could not except the return. I am sure they are making a lot of money on these knives given their high price. It seems odd they were not willing to help me out a little more.

Money was taken out of my account the same day that my order was placed. But BladeHQ did NOT let me know the status of the order. Eight days later I sent a message asking for the status of my order. It took another 6 days before I was given the courtesy of a response. The response was to tell me that my order was delivered on 1.9 (today). You sat on my reply for 6 days, waiting for my order to be delivered, before you provided an update. But two thirds of my reply was to "remind me" that the remainder of my order is a pre-order. I didn't ask about my pre-order. I asked only about the $141.09 that was charged to my credit card. So your focus was on something that I didn't question. To get the focus off of your terrible service? Probably. Because never, in the two weeks between taking my money and sending me a product, did you provide to me the common courtesy of an order update.

Ordered the knives on Black Friday. Unfortunately, the 3rd party software flagged my order and insted of contacting me to verify or fix it, the order was just cancelled. I had to reorder the knives. By the time all this happened, the free knife promotion was over.
They should have honored my initial order timing and still provided the black friday giveaways.
It almost felt that I was doing them a favor to buy the knives from them.

My daughter wanted the newest Donut knife, so I ordered as soon as they went live. All was well until UPS entered the picture. Not a direct BladeHQ issue, but they are your shipper. Knife disappeared within their system (ie: stolen). I contacted Cust Svc, said I had to wait 7 days, ok I get that. In the mean time the knife sold out. So if your order gets lost, stolen or arrives damaged you are SOL! From the comments I read, it looks like this happens often enough but there's no resolve other than saying "sorry". But hey, the knife price is triple on eBay! Not my fault but my only option now. My money is being returned but wasn't even offered a 5% coupon as a consolation for my trouble.

I attempted to buy some knives from BladeHQ, and during the checkout process was informed that one particular knife could not be shipped to my country. There seemed to be no apparent reason for this, as the knife is perfectly legal in my country, and there do not seem to be any trade restrictions or other reasons, according to my research.
I put the question to BladeHQ customer service, and a day or two later received a response that was either copied straight from a script, or was entirely handled by a Bot. It essentially explained back to me what I had already stated in my email, giving no further explanation or opportunity for interaction. My case was enclosed, and I was asked to provide feedback - so here I am.
I consider all this quite poor customer service. I have given a two star rating; one in respect of my previous good experiences with BladeHQ, and one for actually answering the email in a timely manner.
I hope this helps you to improve.

My order was canceled, because a third party suspected it was fraudulent. To be clear, the burden to prove fraudulent charges rests on my CC, not blade hq. Regardless, I will place the order again. It just seems like misplaced responsibility. Blade hq received my money and shipping address, what could be fraudulent?

Something is going on, and I'm suspicious. And the fact that the third party does not provide info to blade hq so they can provide more details and better customer service doesn't make sense

Ordered a few times with Blade HQ. Been pretty good thus far. Until my last order! Hasn't shipped 5 days after I placed the order, the company seems to have forgotten I ordered at all! Very disappointing, actually worse than that. I tried 4 times to change my credit card while making an order, because the previous one on file was either closed by me (consolidating cards) or it had expired. Regardless, my Blade account was suspended. I am sending my Military ID as requested in this email string. I have purchased many knives from you over the years, BTW I have an 800 + credit score and I am a 30 year army veteran. I serve and pay my bills. It would seem I am an ideal customer, apparently not. Your lack of customer service is quite telling especially with regards to how you respond to suspend accounts. I spent hours try to order several knives to no avail.

I still have no answer as to why my order was canceled after it had been shipped. I received my knife and immediately noticed how heavy it was, almost unnecessarily for its weight. The action is also very heavy to where i couldn't really retract it without tearing up my finger. Overall the knife looks great, has a smooth action with little blade wiggle and feels nice in the hands, but the sheer weight and strength this blade takes to operate it was a deal breaker for me :/, even with some lubing. Luckily customer service was a huge help, even giving me a full refund, with which i'm going to get a different knife from this site :). i'm very excited and pleased with my experience with grindworx and their customer service was great.
