Bought the B&D 16V cordless hand vacuum a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with this appliance. Excellent suction and the power lasts. Did both my staircases and more with power to spare. When I first saw it I Thought it would be heavy. Surprisingly it's very light. B&D got this one right.
I have to keep the coffeemaker that my daughter gave me because it was a Christmas present but it is the worst coffeemaker I have ever owned and I'm 62. First, its cord is too short. When I pull it out to add the coffee, I can barely get it to where I can open the top. Second, the top is inconvenient. When I try to pour the water in, I have a hard time going around all of the plastic at the top. Third, it doesn't even heat well. I have to microwave the coffee after it is made to make it hot and I am not talking boiling hot, I am saying normal hot. Who designed this coffeemaker? It is awful.
Submitted an online order and forgot to add my discount code. B&D created an absolute maze to make it impossible to cancel an order. THEN they suggested calling, but any changes MUST be made within 30 minutes of order. Now two and a half hours later, I am still on hold.
Black and Decker uses third part logistics which is common but not to arrive three weeks late
You have to listen to three ads to wait for them to answer their phone

There was a time when it was Black and Decker or nothing! Shame they haven't kept up with the new boys who are making quality tools at less money

I have a Black&Decker battery power drill that I have had for years never had a problem the only thing it is a little heavy but I manage I use it quite often I would recommend it to anyone.

Who doesn't love Black and Decker Toaster Ovens? I always have until they chose to make the button that should stop at OFF, and push said button beyond off and it is ENDLESSLY ON. Here's the thing--OFF should be OFF. There shouldn't be any way to leave any toaster oven on because it will burst into flames! I had to turn it into an electronic clean up event.
Horrible product never had strong power, eventually died. Customer Service evidently died first. I'll never buy Black and Decker again.
I am please3d with the performance. I use it to sweep out th53 foot trailer i use. I AM A TRUCK DRIVER WITH MY OWN TRUCK AND TRAILER.
I registered for a $50 Black & Decker toaster oven & had the receipt & could absolutely prove when it was purchased. The toaster oven just stopped working after only 4 months so I took it into Target hoping they'd let me exchange it since it's defective.
Target told me since it's 4 months old I'd have to contact Black & Decker's warranty department. I contacted them & the customer service representative said they personally couldn't do anything but I'd have to talk to the supervisor. They gave me their direct phone # & extension. I'm not exaggerating, I left over 10 messages for this supervisor over several months with ZERO return calls. I've never heard back from this so called supervisor. What a horrible way to do business.
Now I have to contact regular customer service again & fight with them over this ridiculous situation.
So now, not only do I have a toaster oven that punked out after only 4 months, I now have to deal with Black & Decker's awful (actually, NON EXISTENT) customer service.
I will never ever buy another Black & Decker product again & I'd urge you to stay far away from this company.
