I bought an item on pre-order over a year ago I contacted them they gave me a deadline of two weeks and after months without sending it I got in touch again they told me it was delayed and they didn't know when they would send it and If I cancel I will lose my money a friend had the same problem but with another item I will never buy from this site again

The estimated delivery window for when I made an order passed months ago, originally, I was only supposed to wait 3 months, now a year later after I have forgotten about the whole ordeal, I get a notification about shipping and payment which took me all afternoon to find out what it was about, there is no button to cancel the order on their site. I recommend to anyone reading this to steer clear of these people.

I am a retired service member, and I've been doing plastic modeling as my hobby for over 30 years. Here's my experience with this seller:

Their normal items marked "instock" are general higher price than other places.

Ordered from them via their pre-order section, because their prices' are good (maybe too good to be true), but they never fulfil my orders even after the products are available on market for months. They never update, cancel or respond to my requests neither.

SCAMMER ALERT!

Tip for consumers:
If they have items in stock, more likely somewhere else is cheaper, unless nowhere else available.

Do NOT pre-order from them, especially with those that price look too good to be true.

Sums it up, this seller looks like doing some shady business.

Attention international buyers! If something doesn't arrive, DHL doesn't notify you or similar, you'll be held out until you can't repeat the money! If you then get your money back via Paypal, the account is blocked and everything is gone, money, items in the pile of loot, everything. Be careful here!

I was a regular at BigBadToyStore and living in Canada I used to get my orders with in the week or latest 2 weeks with the slowest shipping option. Their shipments were always very efficient because they dealt with Pitney Bowes.

Now they use a shipping company known as Asendia and it's the absolute worst. A full week goes by where you're left in the dark with NO tracking. There is nothing BBTS can do except tell you to wait for some kind of update. The wait is almost a month or more, when this is brought to their attention the agents solution is "you should have chosen the faster shipping". This is not an easy option when you're ordering from a US website.

The agents are also extremely arrogant they are rude and lie. For example, I had a woman tell me they've always used Asendia, when I pointed out how inefficient that shipping service is. When I pointed out to her that I used to get my packages within 1-2 weeks with the slowest shipping option, she kept shutting me down saying that it's not possible.

I don't think I'll ever use BBTS again because my sole reason for going to them was speed of their shipments.

I purchased from them in December and it took the same time frame, I was told it's because of the holiday season which is fair enough. This is why I took a chance in January since we are no longer in the holiday season. But to my surprise, it's the same issue, and the holiday season was just a convenient excuse.

If you live internationally and want to order from BBTS be aware because you will wait forever for your package to arrive.

This website might be better if you're in the US versus internationally. Definitely the quality of this site has declined.

I got an issue with my delivered item which is missing an accessory (skull throne) and the customer service is the worst, no accountability and lack of ownership, they blamed the vendor always during our conversation. I already canceled over 20 pre orders and will not ever do business with this cash grab company.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this company, its all good if you will not encounter any issues, but if you do and you will have to contact support, it will go down south very quickly.

I pre ordered two products and the dates kept getting pushed back without any communication from the BBTS team. It has been 5 months since the order and I have cancelled the preorders after losing hope they would ever actually ship. Other stores with the same model kits shipped these models already and know I have to go to the secondary market to find what I thought I had locked down. Very disappointing

I have ordered or should I say attempted to order multiple items from BigBadToy store. Even recently I gave them yet another shot. I ordered a set of Marvel Legends, months after they were supposed to be released, I found them at Game Stop. So, I called their customer service number to check the status of my order and they still couldn't give me a shipping date. So, I just canceled it. Exact same thing happened with single releases of Marvel Legends and GI Joe classified finding things I "Pre ordered" at Target, Walmart or Game Stop months later on one occasion in the clearance isle it had been out so long.

Most recently I pre ordered the Veteran William Werewolf action figure when it was announced. Never received it and ended up ordering it from Amazon and getting it in 3 days.

Unless you are a influencer don't waste your time or money.

I ordered a Hot Toys Iron Man. Item shipped internationally but wasnt provided tracking. 3+ months since item shipped still nothing. Contacted Big Bad and they say once shipped they do not claim responsibility and I was on my own. Lost nearly $500.

I tried to order my son an item for Christmas 2021 (when he was still a child). I called to see if I would get it in time for Christmas. They could not guarantee so I told them to cancel the order. I order it on Amazon instead. Now, 3 years later, my son is an adult and I now received his toy in the mail. They said it was a preorder. Never have I heard of preordering a toy 3 years early. It was also out before Christmas of 2021. Not a preorder. They want me to pay shipping back and not reimburse me for the shipping to me. What a bunch of crap. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

After a complaint with the BBB, they have refunded my money. It would have been so much easier if they had just done the right thing in the beginning.

I bought toys in October 21 for Xmas of the same year, turns out they weren't available. When I contacted them they told me they were having supply chain issues and that they will update me when the toys would be available. Except they never did until they shipped and charged my account without notice. Also their pile of loot is a complete scam. I ordered both toys the same day but apparently one was placed in the pile when made available then it instantly expired and got shipped while the second one was listed as a pre-order, but guess what, the second toy got suddenly added to the pile as soon as the first one shipped so I paid for shipping twice, again with zero notice before hand that my account would be charged. Worst experience ever.

- Terrible "customer service" (not sure that's what they should call it)
- Order "processing" often take weeks on in-stock items
- Pre-orders take longer than other retailers
- Items often show up damaged
- Returns process is terrible

They are slow because they source their inventory from EntertainmentEarth and they have to wait for their allotment to ship to their warehouse and when it does their lazy staff likes to drag their feet. Since they're only open until 3pm and closed on the weekends, you will experience long delays with processing your order.

Don't be surprised when you finally get your items 3 weeks after you requested shipment and your expensive items show up damaged. Then don't be surprised when you call them and discover how poorly managed their business actually is and how terrible and rude their "customer service" is.

We discovered that if you want quality service then you should just buy from the same professionals that they do, EntertainmentEarth.

They have flat rate shipping with FedEx and if you switched addresses or have to reroute it, both FedEx and the company will not do anything to reroute or stop the shipping. And they will not refund it either. It's not worth the $5 you pay for flat rate and they don't disclose this with shipping options regardless of what other options you have. Like how would you know the differences of each option if they didn't specify. So if you ordered from them and you need to change address. You won't get your package anymore unless it gets somehow returned to them. Nor a refund.
Also their customer support service is very rude. Not worth calling since they can't even assist you in a nice way.

Tip for consumers:
Don't order from them if you know you won't be staying in the same address for years.

Custoner service is sarcastic and disrespecful. They also cancel orders without notice, specially preordered items yet when an item arrives they do send you an email to promote additional purchases. Pathetic! Never again buying from them. Much better sites than these over priced crooks.

I've spent a few hundred dollars on orders from BBTS and I won't ever order from them again. Shop Entertainment Earth instead. I had an order that I have already paid for get canceled because when they finally received the item my card expired and they couldn't charge the small shipping price to it. So BBTS found it acceptable to attempt to not refund my cash they took for the item and restrict my account. I emailed these armatures and they were unwilling to improve the situation. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else

After moving to a new house they suspended my account due to "suspicious activity". Reached out to customer service was told i had to talk to the payment team. The payment team never got in contact with me after. So i opened a new account only for the same thing to happen again. Still have not been contacted by the payment team and customer service has done little to nothing to help resolve this issue. After being a continuous customer for 5 years this is a major slap in the face. Would recommend entertainmentearth over bbts any day.

I strongly urge anyone from buying from them unless you live in the continental U.S. Also make sure you read all the information in there help section.

My order took a month to get to my house, then i had to pay border tax on the item; after already paying for air shipping. The shipping box was damage. Also the product is has paint errors; that they charged full price for.

I tried to contact them about all of these problems, to which they responded "that is not there problem".

Definitely NOT recommended. There are plenty of other sites to chose from rather than BBTS. A lot of comments on youtube and collectible forums have said their shipping has been slow. After 2 weeks from charging my card, they still had not shipped my item. I told them it's fine if they are swamped but they refused to cancel the order. So I filed a chargeback. No loss. They used to be the best shop to go to though. Not sure what changed. Fortunately, there are better sites that offer better customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Just google the item and look at their competitors. Use Youtube and you'll see in the comments that there's an increase in people saying BBTS has extremely slow shipping. They are the biggest online shop out there and that's the issue...they can't handle the workload now. If they don't want to refund your order, file a chargeback.

Attempted to return an item I ordered and was met with resistance from the get-go.

Be aware that the plastic bags, which manufactures use to separate items, when shipping 4 or 6 items to a case, by BBTS's definition, is part of the packaging. If removed from the plastic bag, that voids their Return Policy. Granted, in addition to removing the item from the plastic bag, The cardboard sleeve surrounding the item, which was NOT taped in place, was slid away so that I could see the figure. Nothing was played with. Nothing was removed from the packaging. I had a change of heart upon seeing the figure in person. That's it.

I can only assume that they are treating items, as if they were hermetically sealed to begin with and need to be returned in such a manner. God forbid any air get in. So livid, as I have been a customer for years, with no issues, in their offerings, shipping methods or Customer Service. Everything has been top-notch, until now. A strict return policy, with no room for exceptions or special circumstances, is cause enough to have me rethinking BBTS, as a viable source for my collector needs. This ain't no Amazon Store you're dealing with. Unless you are 100% sure that you want the item, you're in for a "Let The Buyer Beware Moment", if trying to make a return.

When I purchase a collectable from an online store I fully expect that company to upright and forward with their product description, like the way Entertainment Earth is. I ordered a Jada Toys 1/32 collectable and the clear package cellophane had a major crease in it and was not acceptable at all to me. I called and was credited my purchase to make another purchase. I made the other purchase and the item came in damaged in the same spot as the first one. This is completely unacceptable and negligent on their part. If you want to sell damaged good then say its damaged. Don't blindly box them up when YOU KNOW its damaged. Whoever packs this stuff and thinks that ANY defect is OK is out of their mind and should NOT work for a collectable shop. They clearly don't care what garbage they send

I pre ordered the Captain Blake from The Fog figure. This was almost two months ago. ETA July. Numerous emails all excuses, they don't even contact their suppliers to find out when their products are going to be delivered. Truly pathetic service. Dreadful company. Avoid like the plague.

Toys are WAYYYYY smaller than advertised and of lesser quality. I got several Robotech toys and it was clear the quality and size made them worth 1/3 the cost they were charging.

I purchased the product from bigbadtoystore and paid for express international shipping. The shipment got return to bigbadtoystore due to somereason, I emailed customer service team few times, the only thing they tell me is wait for some weeks until the shipment get returned to them. They will not do anything if the shipment is not returned to them, as a customer, I paid for everything including shipping and have to wait for so long without any confidence that the products I bought can be returned to them, who knows when I can get them. I ask for refund and got reject. I will not suggest anyone to buy any product from them.

Instead of items displaying as "SOLD OUT/BACKORDER" for example, the website is set up that when "IN STOCK" items sell out, the product page and listing automatically changes from "IN STOCK" to "PRE-ORDER" for every item on the site, regardless of whether or not the product can actually be ordered/sourced on their end again or not. You can see this with the numerous Funko Pops for example on the site all displaying "PRE-ORDER" although the pop was released a number of years ago and now vaulted (no longer manufactured/sold). This is why so so many people complain about pre-orders being cancelled on this online store, because it's only once enough people "pre-order" actual sold out and unavailable items like these and the site cancels their orders that the people running the site then go ahead and remove the product from the website. It's deceitful and lazy online inventory management.
