“Everything about this site is a scam”

Everything about this site is a scam - hopefully I'm the first one they have ripped off and all others please take my warning and the examples below as a word of caution before wasting your money. www.bidwarrs.com does not have a history of who won, only a statement saying "recently sold for $xx. Xx" usually that number is 2000 - 4000 times higher than it did recently "sell" for. E.g. Recently sold for $52.06 - but the last four auctions I watched they sold for $0.23, $1.19, $0.04, and $0.07. www.bidwarrs.com also credits your account back extra bids (no idea why it's not part of the user agreement) I can only assume it's with the intent of getting you hooked on the possibility of winning, which you never will. Sometimes the auctions just end with a pop up that says "Auction has ended" even though there is up to 8 seconds remaining or better yet it just disappears. Technical support tells me "not to wait until the auction is that close to ending, that it may be network congestion and that I should be more aggressive with my bids and to keep bidding". I mentioned it could be a waste of bids and I should be able to spend them how I feel as I have paid for them and that by bidding like that I may run out of bids and or falsely drive up the price on myself. They informed me that I should buy more bids to ensure don't run out. The bots usually kick in around 8 minutes remaining in the auction and will continue to bid against you until you either give up, the auction ends abruptly, you're out of bids, or for no apparent reason at all. They also delete any comments on their "feedback form" that they don't feel does them justice, makes them look bad or even accuses them of unfair practice. I have witnessed two I Phone 4's being auctioned at the exact same time, 1 phone had 4 bids on it and "sold" for $0.04 while the other phone was in a price war that ended around $7.60 between (I can only assume) some unsuspecting, gullible chump like myself and one of their bots - I hope he/she was testing it out like I mention below and they write a review to expose www.bidwarrs.com After I realized they used bots to jack up the price, never let you win, take your bids / money from you I felt I had to test that knowing that I have been scammed and have already wasted my money. I started bidding on an X box retailed at $300 at the same time I was in an "exciting bidding war" (with their bot and wasted about 400 bids about $200) there was almost nobody was bidding on the $1500 TV or the $2000 Apple laptop and they "sold" for $0.07 and $0.02 respectfully. Meanwhile their email support is trying to make me believe that the other person was bidding on the X box and must have really wanted it. "He" won the X box, spent around $250 in bids, % You can ask - why didn't you go for the TV or Laptop? Because I knew it was a scam and if I bid on them the bot would have kicked in and outbid me, I wanted to see how far the bot / other person would go to win the x box, while missing the chance at the TV and Laptop. So this person won the X box for Since they "gave" me 82 bids back (for whatever reason) and I have 100 left I repeated this with the following experiment: I started bidding on a $25 AMEX gift card and what do you know the bot jumps in and out bids me. I have been stuck in this "bidding war" with one of their bots while these items were being "auctioned off" and even "sold" during my "exciting bid war" Retail: $1381. 00 Sony BRAVIA 3D-Ready LED HDTV went for $0.12 Retail: $1299. 00 Samsung 55-Inch LCD HDTV went for $0.08 Retail: $849.00 Apple IPhone 4G went for $0.24 Retail: $100.00 American Express $100 Gift Card went for $0.07 Retail: $379.99 Toshiba N600 10.1 inch Netbook did not receive a bid and the auction closed or at least it just disappeared Well, I lost, the $25 AMEX gift card "auction" this "other guy" really wanted the $25 gift card because he got it for the grand total of $3.68 so he wasted $75 in bids, plus $3.68 to win $25. Not to mention he did not bid on the $100 AMEX gift card at all. I have sent www.bidwarrs.com "support" a message similar to this and the that I request a full refund, I have started to report them to the BBB, VISA, PayPal, and California Office of the Attorney General as well as posting on sites like this to expose them and other "businesses" that take advantage of unsuspecting users. Since I have sent them a message similar to this they quit refunding me bids, have not returned my email request, and have deleted my post on the user form, can't wait to see what they have in store for me next. www.bidwarrs.com motto is where skill wins; they were skillful enough to launch a website, attract me, take my money and will most likely repeat this to others, so their motto is fitting.
