This person got burned by one site and never bothered to understand how Penny Auctions work. Rather than learn what was happening she decided it was all a rip off and wrote bad reviews about every Penny Auction site she could find.

Penny Auctions are not eBay. First, we don't sell used stuff, everything we auction off is new with warranty. Second, Penny Auctions are auctions based on game theory, and although no one is guaranteed to win, the potential savings are enormous. We even have beginner auctions that almost always go for 1 bid for a $10 gift card, so as soon as you sign up you get $10 back.
