Better Property Italy Estate Agents & Real Estate.
This company is run by an organised crime gang.
This trio of criminals preys on foreign investors as we are lead to believe they are providing us with our dream, they abuse foreigners trust!
Avoid using this company owned by Antonio Cieri, as you will become a victim of crime.
There is at least a trio of the gang working within the South of Italy, especially around the Abruzzo & Molise regions of the country.
Antonio Cieri is the ring leader, a skinny, weedy, looking guy with glasses, then there is Rosanna Marchioli a short plump Italian woman posing as the company interpreter, with a thick American accent when she translates into English, finally a man called Angelo who we only met the once who works and lives in the town of Palata.
We came across this company on an internet search, we made contact, we spent thousands going to and from Italy, viewing a property that we were lead to believe we were buying, for it to be a complete SCAM! From there we were eventually syphoned of every last bit of inheritance we had, with a promise of owning this house in Abruzzo.
After 5 years of pure hell, going back and forth we finally employed lawyers to help us find out the truth of what had happened to us.
Unfortunately we have been Victims Of Crime! We have lost over €*******, I'm not embarrassed to say this as we want to warn others of this fraudulent company.
PLEASE DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY!
If you have had dealings with this company and you gave this company full reign to process your purchase I would advise you to employ a independent Italian lawyer in the city of your country that speaks fluent English, to confirm with the Italian registration office that you actually do own your property, it's only €12 for the search, and also the lawyer fee, but it's worth the payment for peace of mind.
PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW OF YOUR EXPERIENCE IF YOU HAVE BEEN A VICTIM THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN WARN OTHER POTENTIAL VICTIMS NOT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
I'll never see my money again, and to sue the company and Antonio Cieri is just more money I cannot afford, he knows this and after years of taking foreigners money he is STILL getting away with it! I have had awful mental health issues completely caused by my dealings with Antonio Cieri and Better Property Italy, I've been broken!

Beware of real estate agencies that require clients to come to them to view properties. As with all agencies worldwide that represent a certain area, said agents are usually available to show properties to clients in the respective regions.

Better Property claims to represent Abruzzo (among other areas) however not very professional in that regard. After having to take 2 flights to get into Italy, followed by 2 trains to finally get to Pescara... in Abruzzo just to view properties.Hotel reservation also made in Pescara to cover the days there. However as the agent Rosanna indicated, they can't meet in Pescara and I should take another train and a bus... AND... stay at a B&B near their office in Vasto. I wonder how many other potential clients they inconvenience despite getting a minimum of 3,000+ on commissions for sales.

Despite the POOR service of Better Property, I was able to get a more reliable agency, who not only drove 50+ min to get to where I was but another 1hr 30min to view a property and back. This along with a tour of the village and other necessary appointment locations.
Needless to say an offer was made with that other agency on the property.

Avoid these so called "convenient" real estate agencies that have no interest in service but somehow still want commission!
