I have sent in 4 different emails for refunds. One email I did get answer at least to cancel my subscription. Which by the way I too didn't agree too. Now once again I got another charge, no refund and no response. Horrible customer service, very misleading, scammers. Do not give out your information to this company, or you too will fall victim to this company!

SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE

I purchased this app at the beginning of January from an ad on Instagram & it said "purchase now for 1 month or your money back guaranteed $29.99." I purchased & downloaded the app which then it asked me if I wanted to add recipes, dietary, and a trainer etc. The extra charges were $9.99 and $6.99. ((total $46.97) As the week has gone by I was getting familiar with the app & how it worked. I signed into it on the 8th day & it asks me to pay again $39.99 special offer, but I just paid $29.99 for a month? On top of this I was charged again $9.99 & $6.99 for an app that doesn't work for me anymore because I cant access the plan I have chosen. I was charged a total of $63.95 for 8 days & for what... something that has not worked for me & did not live up to the subscription. I contacted Betterme and they replied with SELLING me more... I told them I was not interested in purchasing more, I wanted a refund. They then took over a week to reply back letting me know how to unsubscribe. I've already unsubscribed and did not ask HOW to I unsubscribe but again asked for my money back. They have NOT given me my refund. They can't respond back to my email letting them know I am not interested in their products and I simply want the my money back. Betterme,,-Katherine or Emily, can you please answer your emails and refund me my money. This is ridiculous.

I have requested a cancellation of my subscription 6 times and no response. BetterMe keeps on taking money off my account every week even after I have requested to have the subscription cancelled.
This is illegal and a complete scam.
Just had another amount taken off yesterday... be very careful as once you have signed up if you have a cancellation request it's just gets ignored.
Be very very careful of this company! This is illegal what they are doing to me

I kept on emailing them to cancel my subscription however they kept on offering me other services. I was very clear in my intent to cancel my subscription. This company directs their charges to my credit card. This is really a scam. This app doesn't even have an unsubscribe button. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.

SCAM!

I never signed up for this service--never had the app on my phone. They've stolen $50 from me. I have reported the fraud to my bank and PayPal and have sent NUMEROUS emails to request cancellation AND a refund with NO reply.

Deceptive practices.

Nowhere on their site did I find out that they billed WEEKLY. They are a fraud and need to be taken down. I demanded a total refund and they came back with refunding 50% of this weeks charges, $6.50 then they would close my account.

Scammers! I emailed through the app dec 26, asking for my subscription to be cancelled. I got a response dec 27 from Sonny saying my subscription was cancelled and I would NOT have any further charges, see attached email.
On Jan 25 I was charged TWICE! Awful people, they didn't respond to my complaint and they didn't give me back the money they STOLE!

Very bad communication

Very very bad, I paid with my credit card and I couldn't cancel my subscription. I contacted them and it took them 1 week to answer, by that time my membership had already renewed and money was taken from my account.
In addition to that, meal recipes demand sometimes complicated ingredients that one does not happen to find at home or easily at the supermarket.

This is totally a scammer! They never answered my questions and helped me to cancel my subscription. Last week I had made a subscription because the app seem trustworthy to me! But I have seen the app and what they really offered which are useless. Then, I totally changed my mind and wanted to cancel my subscription. THEY NEVER REPLIED TO ME BACK. I sent them around 7 emails, notifications to them in a week. Every time, I am receiving an automated message promising 48 hours SLA to reply. NO MESSAGE/ NO HEAD UP. They took my money, credit card information and never showed up again. DO NOT TRUST THEM, NEVER MAKE ANY SUBSCRIPTION!

Absolute scammers! I also have the same issue as the other people on here. They are bot getting back to me after numerous attempts to cancel, the first within the "free" first week. Kept getting repeated messages saying they would contact within 24 hours but no response. Have now sent many numerous emails and nothing back! Do not sign up to BetterMe. WARNING, IT IS A SCAM!

This app at first look good but actually is a total scam! After I paid for the first time, I realized I will not have time for it, I kindly asked to cancel my subscription. After that, they just billed me again. Then, I sent over 10 e-mails, trying to get refund for the second bill and confirmation that my subscription is canceled, but guess what? They billed me, again! After that, I recivied e-mail from them telling me they are offering 6 months free, but I just wanted last two bills refunded end my subscription canceled. Of course, they are not professional, so they stopped the communication again, I didnt get refund and I am scared I gave credit card number to company like that, so I contacted police and I will block my credit card.DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR PAY ANYTHING, IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!

I had trouble accessing the app and emailed the company multiple times for help. Other than auto-replies they never responded. I requested my subscription be cancelled multiple times but again no response. In the end, I had to cancel my credit card to stop the direct debits.

They started deducting weekly fee of $9.99 so I request to cancel my subscription, it has been a month with them either delaying or now just ignoring my request while they obviously still deducting the weekly fee.
This is not acceptable.
