I didn't want to love these pants, as they are a little expensive and the shipping can be slow (like 3-6 weeks after ordering) but I find myself reaching for my betabrand pants every time I have to get dressed for work. I only have two pairs so I need to order more. They are so comfortable and unlike other similar brands these have the normal amount of pockets as regular pants, without compromising comfort. The most comfortable work pants I own hands down. Soft, quality material as well. The customer service is good and they will meet your needs to the best of their availability; you might just have to wait a while.
Pants are almost totally worn through after only owning them about one and a half years. When I pay over $100 for a pair of pants, I expect them to last 5+ years. I reached out to customer service about some kind of product warranty, and they basically said that because I'd owned them longer than 2-3 months, too bad. So, they clearly don't care about the low quality of their very expensive product. I should also note that sizing and shrinkage is inconsistent across pants - different pairs of pants ordered at the same size ended up being quite different leg length-wise.

I ordered 6 items this time. I recieved what was clearly a previously returned item sold without any indication there may be defects. The previous person's note was still in the package. Their site not allowing refund as it is a 'last chance' item. There was nothing showing defective, only no returns. There was another off item, not as bad, just longer than ordered and labelled. It seems long marked regular, compared to other items.
Edit: Keiry reached out to make it right. Refunded the bad pair of pants.

Jacket and pants from another order
I actually love Betabrand's pants. I think they are excellent quality and are literally the most comfortable pants, just like they say! Being someone who struggles with finding pants that are comfortable around the waist due to bloating, these are the best. The prices are high, but they will give you coupon codes almost daily (get ready for an annoyingly insane amount of email and texts.)
I AGREE THE SHIPPING IS HORRIBLE.
I ordered my second shipment and am still waiting. I ordered 2 pairs of pants, one of which says has "shipped" and the other I got a refund for without explanation. I really wanted the second pair, but the thought of going back and waiting a another month for another shipment is deterring me from ordering.
In my experience, customer service is responsive. Helpful? Not sure, but responsive, yes!
I also like that they have sizing for all. I order a petite XS and they're perfect.
Tip for consumers:
Use discount codes and wait for things to go on sale

Love the pants but need help with different styles. I'm very frustrated that I can't communicate with a live, knowledgeable person.
I ordered 4 pairs of pants in mid-June, one pair arrived quickly but I didn't think the other 3 had come yet. I spent time emailing back and forth trying to figure out what happened, and the email/online help wasn't perfect. However, when I called the company I spoke with someone quickly and they were very accommodating. I received a refund for the other 3 pants within a day. I called today because I found the order of the other 3 pants (a roommate had accepted the package and forgotten to give it to me... grrr). When I called to have Betabrand re-charge me, they said it was unnecessary (as the company already claimed it at a loss) and I should keep the package! Wow, that was awesome! I feel foolish but grateful for their help and understanding. Thank you Betabrand!
So i was incredibly skeptical but I'm converted... I've been wearing my blue pants pretty much every day, they're so freaking comfy.
I'm over 6 foot (185cm) and find it so frustrating to find comfy pants to wear - saw these came in a long 34" inseam, read a few reviews and thought stuff it, i'll give it a shot. Bought 2 pairs of pants, fully expecting it to take weeks and literally the first pair arrived in DAYS - I ordered on 16th and my blue pants arrived on 23rd july! Was a bit suss that the other pair were missing (one of the review I read mentioned they only ever received part of their order) so I emailed them, and they replied the same day. The gingham pants finally arrived 7th August, so all in all it was less than a month from ordering to completion.
Now I bought them to wear around the house or duck out to the shops with the kids etc, as it's a step up from active wear, but I personally wouldn't wear them to work with my thunder thighs - they're basically thick yoga pants so perfect for winter around the house or going out, but too body hugging for the office unless you have fantastic legs - which I do not haha.
I confess, I haven't put them through the washing machine yet... I'm worried they might shrink... will update once I've built up the courage.
All in all, a solid 8/10 - exactly what I was expecting, been wanting pants like this for ages - comfy as leggings or trackie pants, but slightly better looking. Reason I didn't give 5 stars is I would say they're a bit pricey for what they are - dressy leggings.
I have 4 pair of the dress pants. They are amazing. Of course, you can't dry them in the dryer but they wash well without fading. The only things I can say is they are really long and they get bigger as the day goes on when wearing them. I'm tall so I ordered long and they were too long but sending them back and exchanging was hassle free. I'm wondering how the new flats are. Anyone?
