On Monday, May 28th I ordered a step and repeat to be delivered for a fundraiser that was happening for the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood, on Saturday, May 31st. To ensure it got here on time I paid extra for overnight shipping and was told it would be hereby Wednesday (because of Memorial Day). I checked the next day and was told there was an issue with the shipping address, I called got it cleared up and was told now it would be here by Friday, May 30th. I didn't understand because at the latest it should be is Thursday if overnight, right? So, I called again and found out that they hadn't even started the project so it wouldn't have gotten there by Thursday, but I was guaranteed it would be here by Friday. I requested an email stating that (for proof), and they sent me a confirmation email stating that it would be here Friday, May 30thth. I also went online and used their chat with a representative named "Captain", who also reassured me that it will be here on Friday May 30th. Thursday, I checked the Fedex tracking and Fedex says it's coming Monday, June 2nd, two days after the event it was ordered for. So, I called again and spoke with Harry, after several bouts of being on hold while he conversed with his "team" to see what they could do. He comes back and says, it will absolutely be here by Friday and for me not to worry and to wait a few hours and Fedex will update and it will show as Friday May 30th. I said you are sure because if I have to pay extra to get one made by someone closer I still have time. He said, I didn't have to worry. I woke up Friday and Fedex still says by Monday. Needless to say I spoke with 3 additional representatives on the phone and 4 additional reps through chat, and EVERY single one of them promised me it would be here by Friday May 30th. Today is June 4th and it still is not here. I forgot to mention that they offered to refund me my overnight fee, laughable. If someone pays for overnight clearly it is needed quickly. If they had just been forthright I would have been able to get a replacement in time. I even stated that to the representatives, but because 8 people reassured me I did not. So, our event has come and gone. Our title sponsor did not get their representation at the event.
After on going back and forth to get a refund I was given a partial refund minus the overnight free. The NERVE to withhold the overnight fee that I paid and the package was not delivered until 6/3. Lliars, crooks and bad business.
