I 'had this bed for exactly one week and after a one-week, I can tell you I haven't had any back lower back pain normally I have lower back pain sometimes. I think my lower back isn't always supported so while it's a firmer mattress I think the firmer mattress for me really helps with lower back pain. It's not like it's super cozy comfy but you know it's super supportive and I think that's what a lot of people miss. It's not like so soft well sometimes soft doesn't mean that it's necessarily better for you so I really I wake up no back pain I feel great you know it's not like I have chronic lower back pain I'm only 25 I still wake up with back pain and with this the whole week I haven't had any issues. With heat as well actually I've noticed we've been you know having the windows open and everything and this time of year it's not a problem at all. I didn't ever felt hot you know sometimes I wake up my mouth is all dry and it's been open all night because I was too hot this time this whole week I haven't had any issues with my mouth being open. Feeling too hot you know spreading my legs or anything like that it's just been a nice even it has a nice temperature control like it's not like you know two hours. Overheat it's pretty much it stays consistent throughout the night. Know overall I'd say it's been great it does seem - maybe it's just my body getting used to it but it seems to kind of you. Know be breaking in a little bit and I feel like it's you know every day it gets a little bit better you know what I recommend this bed. I think it's been probably the best $1.00 I've ever spent and with the warranty and everything it seems like it's a great deal and really I've had the best sleep I've ever had on any mattress. Much to my surprise, when I press my hand into the Tuft & Needle, I notice this mattress feels a lot more firm than what I remember. The intent of my hand also retracts almost immediately. This means the polyfoam has a quick response to pressure, which leads me to believe that I will be able to move around pretty easily while lying on the mattress. The verdict? We came up with an average score of 7.5, which means this bed is pretty darn firm. When I tested the older version of this bed, the firmness score was closer to 6.5, meaning this bed has become more firm since it was updated. Since the Tuft & Needle is on the firmer side, I immediately think it will be a better option for back or stomach sleepers who need firm support at the spine while avoiding any hip sinkage. I'd also say this bed could be a real win for combo sleepers, thanks to the excellent mobility and bounce you're likely to experience in the top layer of proprietary foam.
